Their service is good and they will do their best to make things right. One time there was a mix-up, my original bouquet was delivered to another customer, and I received that customer's bouquet. I came home late and called the next day to let Sellwood Flowers know. Then they sent a new bouquet the next day that was representative of the flowers purchased. Sellwood Flower Company is amazing and lovely to work with. We used them for our wedding flowers. We worked with Kailla who understood our color palette and vision right away. We got all locally sourced and seasonal flowers for our September wedding. They were so communicative and easy to work with. Day before the wedding there was an issue with the cake bakery changing the plans for the cake flowers. Mary who was working at the shop offered to drop off the flowers to the bakery on our behalf which was great! Then with more back and forth Kailla and I chatted and she just offered to do it onsite at our venue so the flowers would stay fresh. She went above and beyond as this change by the bakery the day before the wedding was stressful. We will continue to use Sellwood for our floral needs. I mean look how gorgeous My bridal bouquet is! I had been envisioning a piece centered around 18 red roses in a "darkly beatiful" arrangement, one that would feel wild but also have some sense of refinement with just a touch of rustic grit. I found two standard arrangements on their website that each had elements I liked, but neither of which had it all. Rather than just ordering that night, I sent an email explaining what I was envisioning and got a prompt response the next morning saying they'd be happy to speak with me about what I wanted to create for the occasion. Over the next few days the amazing team of delightful women at Sellwood worked with me (on the phone and over email w pictures) to put together a really stunning arrangement. Katie, Mary and Lynn were all incredible. The personal followups for things like ensuring I had a card note ready on time were very professional. And in the end, the team went above and beyond to personally deliver the arrangement to my daughter's dorm so that it wouldn't get lost or damaged by having the regular delivery service bring it to the mailroom (which is generic college protocol for delivery). I remembered a perfect arrangement that I had gotten once before at Sellwood Flower Company, so when it was time for a great 'Thank You' gift, I returned. This time I used their website, which was uber-easy, and picked a 36" Monstera (a.k.a. Split-leaf philodendron or Swiss-Cheese plant.) Despite the nasty surprise February snow-storm and icy road conditions, they were able to put together a beautiful plant and get it delivered (!) in less than 3 hours (!!) I know it was beautiful, because not only did they send me a photo of the plant in its pot with a ribbon, but I heard that the recipient was 'moved to tears' and had 'always wanted a plant just like this'.
