It was a great easy process. Mainstreamed my loan and good amount of time. Will come back again

It's not a bad story. It's just in a really bad part of town. Parking lot is huge, but I wouldn't…read morewanna park in that parking lot because people approached your vehicles and ask for money or just break into your car. The prices are reasonable if you catch a good sale, but they have good options.

**Store closure notice** Our business with Fred Meter,…read moreespecially this location has been a complex one. It was one of mixed feelings where on a company level we felt welcome but this location itself gave us plenty of hassle. The corner of 72nd and Pacific is a colorful place as you often get surly individuals on the corner and therefore it spills into the parking lot. Once or twice we felt a bit uncomfortable encountering characters in the parking lot and it wasn't us just being paranoid if they have portable security cameras in the parking lot. But that is actually minor to other frustrations we have encountered. We have looked here for produce several different times. Nothing exotic but for example we were looking for jalapeños and looked all over the produce section but they had nada so we had to go to Safeway also to finish our grocery shopping. I know, one stop shopping concept is a marketing dinosaur but it sure feels like you are getting errands done when you can successfully do a one stop shop. But on the flip side while planning our lunches for the week while at work everything would fall into place time and time again to make that come together nicely. But what really kept us away for several years in fact was that we saw a rat scurrying down an aisle once while in this store. I don't know if te store janitorial team fell down on their jobs or if it came in by chance through the automatic doors but the idea of that thing nestled in the grocery shelves and nibbling on the produce at night kept us far, far away. But times have changed in the world and DEI policies that companies had rolled them back. Kroger, the company that owns Fred Meyer would not do this so it made us cautiously return to this location feeling we would be welcome to shop here. Those few times were free of incident for the most part, nothing to drive us away again. But then we heard this Fred Meyer would close in September 2025 for Kroger to save money and to close stored that have a high shrink in their inventory or in other words stores with high theft. It totally makes sense this store would be one but we didn't know how bad until it got the chopping block. The residents that live nearby are in an uproar because there isn't another grocery store within walking distance or close driving proximity and their reasoning for being upset makes sense. Just throw more complexity onto the pile. I don't know and it doesn't appear to be closing sales at this location so I imagine the inventory will get redistributed to remaining stores or go to warehouses for a period of time. So instead of this review being a retail carcass picking event notice it's more of a you got a longer drive/walk ahead of you event notice.

I am a member of long standing, and keep 60-100k regularly on deposit…read more I've had their VISA for decades and have had no issue but for this. I pay my monthly credit card bills directly from my checking account, and usually time the payment several days prior to the due date. Most recently, I had a typo on the payment date, and missed the due date ... no big deal, the next statement came, I learned of the mistake, they hit me with a penalty and I deserved it. I immediately issued an online payment order to pay-off the balance, since the interest accruing was substantial. What they didn't tell me was the the card was now frozen. I use the card to auto-pay my internet service vender, and for retail purchases. The internet service vender told me the monthly auto-pay was rejected, threatened to shut my account, and charged me a penalty. It didn't stop there. I called cardmember services trying to find out what was happening and was spun endlessly on their AI unmerry-go-round. When I called their local office, they said they would refer me to the credit card desk, and next thing I know, I was back at cardmember services. After several hours wasted on this, I finally got a voice at Elan card services, who politely told me the account was frozen and would remain so until brought to current. Seriously, any look at my record and membership history would make clear that I deserved a least a notice that my card was being frozen so that other inconveniences would have been avoided or minimized.

3 hours with card member services, 2 hrs with harbor stone…read morecredit union I had a problem with a hotel stay, the hotel wouldn't offer me a refund so I called harborstone seeking help. Nothing has been done, I get switched around over and over. Harborstone will tell me it's the fraud department, fraud department says it's the dispute department, dispute department says it's Harborstone that needs to issue the refund. Talked to a guy today who said card member services should be able to issue a refund, i called them and they transferred me around to multiple people. After this by the third person and two calls dropped I was told I needed to call harborstone for the provisional credit. Called them they stated they couldn't do anything and that it was the fraud department for card member services, I was transferred again and told I needed to tell them " I have disputed this before haven't heard updated status. Looking to receive provisional credit because of the merchant not working with me to provide monetary resolve". I did that once I called in they stated it wasn't their department because there was no fraud. I have been transferred not to the dispute department for card me ever services I am basically getting sent over and over in circles and no one is helping me, just constantly transferring. I have been dealing with this my entire Monday and still not an answer from anyone. Also card mem ever services hangs up on me, I had one card member services woman tell me the fraud department didn't have a phone number and they only had an email and fax. When I asked to speak with someone else she said have a great day then she hung up on me. After all of this a woman named Rebecca gets on the phone with me tells me she would have to write in a ticket to get things going from the Harborstone fraud department. She is extremely condescending. Tells me that she isn't even sure if they will give me one because harborstone doesn't give out money for disputes often. I asked her if harborstone ever had given a provisional credit before on a dispute. Of course she said yes. So why am I not being issued one? I believe because I worked for this company they are being prejudice and will not help me, or offer any solutions. I have tried many times to get a loan or credit cards for this company and have always been denied. They do not offer me anything but stress and unresolved issues. I would never recommend this crap union to Anyone.
