The best lahmajun in all of LA. It's a must try when in the area. Fresh, crispy and delicious. Doesn't give you any heartburn like other lahmajuns. I always get some when in the area. Customer service is good, the bakery is small no seating area. Grab and go kind of place.

Really great "roll" with multiple of greens inside. Its something pretty unique, and you should try at least once. I also recommend thier Baklava, its one of the best exa, ples i've had. Most places make it too sticky and sweet. This one still has a nice nuttiness and more subtle sweetness.

I love this great bakery find in Glendale. I always purchase their beef pilmeny dumplings fresh made/frozen. It a great weeknight meal to cook and serve with fresh lemon wedges. Delicious! I also recently bought ajarski bread premade/frozen/ready to just crack the eggs and cook in the over and serve. Amazing!

Best Xachapuris (cheese puff) I've ever had. Perfect balance of cheese and the dough rises perfectly and its just kinda crispy but so fluffy and puffy and amazing. I haven't seen anyone smoking behind the counter, but I wouldn't be surprised. I just know a thing or two about these Xachapuris (the x is pronounced like khhh), and this is the only place outside my own kitchen that I'd actually buy t hem from.

    Best nazook in glendale!

Such a bargain for Armenian pastry. Serving sizes were large but price was low! People going in & coming out with boxes of delicious food.

I happened to be at the tire shop across the street getting the tires changed on my car and needed to pick up some pastries for guests that were coming over that same day. One of those guests happens to be a baker so I really needed to find some fresh delicious pastries. I checked Yelp for nearby bakeries and La Jaconde popped up with really great reviews so I drove right across the street and picked up some baked goods. I picked up this big pastry that was stuffed with cream cheese and sour cherries (TRUST ME you want this), a box of mixed cookies and bite sized goodies, and a box of stuffed dates (don't knock it until you try it). EVERYTHING was fresh. Everything was tasty. And it got the stamp of approval from the baker friend. The cream cheese and sour cherry stuffed bakery literally disappeared in 10 minutes, and that thing was not small by any means. I returned to this same place the following week to pick up some savory baked goods for some friends, and the owner was at the shop and was so kind and so proud of his products (as he should be). Needless to say this is going to be my bakery of choice. I'd drive past 5 shops to get to this one any day.

The cute outside tables with umbrellas gave out an awesome Eastern European vibe, where the patrons are sitting in a cafe and sipping on their latte with a croissant or enjoying a nice plate of food. I tried the Beef Lula kabob plate, which came with thinly sliced baked potato, a grilled pepper and tomato, as well as with a side of Armenian salad. The Beef Lula kabob was pretty tasty, although I expected for it to be more juicy. The baked potato slices were plain, without any salt or spices. It felt like they needed a bit more flavor. The grilled veggies tasted great and very fresh. You could tell that they use quality ingredients. The Armenian salad had cut tomatoes, cucumbers and onions and was tossed in very yummy light dressing and was very delicious. You truly could taste freshness and quality all throughout , but with any Armenian food spot, I guess you just expect more marinade and spices to be in your food. My plate felt more purist, but I guess it allowed me to taste the meat and potatoes more in their pure form. In addition to a nice selection of kabobs that they cook in front of you, Art's has a variety of delicious-looking side salads and just a massive selection of baked sweet pastries and cakes. I plan to come back here with my dad so he can try this food and feel this awesome, European vibe of an ambiance. The customer service was friendly and attentive. I definitely plan to come back and try some of their other plates!

Always a pleasant experience at these bakeries. This Glendale bakery café was clean, bright, and beautifully organized with a large variety of pastries, cakes, and drinks on display. I tried the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake, Berries cake, Curry Croquette, and their signature iced Korean lattes. The pastries were soft and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the cakes looked just as good as they tasted. The curry croquette wasn't a favorite of mine. It was my first time trying and the spices didn't amaze my palette. I will have to try their garlic bread next time if I feel like getting something savory. Their sweets are always a hit for me! Overall, the staff was friendly and greeted customers warmly as they come in. Small parking lot at this location but still worth the wait. Good visit!

Very disappointed with my experience…read more I pre-ordered and prepaid for my daughter's birthday cake two weeks in advance, only to arrive on the day of pickup and be told that my cake had been given away. This was for a birthday party, so having the cake ready as promised was extremely important. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. Instead of offering a meaningful solution, discount, refund, or apology for the inconvenience, I was simply told to pick a different cake or wait another 30 minutes for a replacement. Mistakes happen, but giving away a prepaid custom order and then acting as if it's a minor inconvenience is unacceptable. The whole reason for pre-ordering and paying in advance is to avoid this exact situation. Unfortunately, this experience caused unnecessary stress on an already busy day, and I cannot recommend this bakery based on how this issue was handled.

The mango caught my eye with its life-like ombré effect, and the (raspberry) framboise beckoned as well. Frambroise: Rich chocolatey mousse with crunchy bits and raspberry jam. I enjoyed this combo. I watched too many fruit mousse ASMR videos, so I was perhaps a little disappointed when the chocolate coatings did not audibly crunch, but I think it'd need to be placed in the freezer for that effect.
