So I am a regular of sam's club and costco and recently I have come to realize that both of these establishments have started giving a sh*t about their customers. Everytime you go to sam's club or costco its just that one disgruntled employee whole will ruin your trip and I dont blame employees. I always blame the organization because its the unrealistic expectations of organizations from their employees. I might extend my membership or might not but for now these 2 have the monopoly so let's wait for the day when someone like Amazon come and pushes them out pf business. For employees my message is please fix your attitudes before all of you are replaced by machines.

This Sams club is really hit or miss kind a place. Some days you will find great selection of products, really clean and organized then couple days, weeks later you'll go and theres nothing to select from, products all over the place and service not the best. I learned more and more that is easier to use your scan and go app then go to cash register. My membership allows me to earn points , from the purchases I make. My last visit I decided to go to cash register (big mistake) and pay with points. Well that could not be done, because I needed to scan Sams credit card, which I never used or received (in the past I used the points with out any credit cards). After 30min wait at the customer service desk where I was moved they said I can't use my points, so I used the scan and go app and magically the app took my points with out any issues or usage of random Credit Card. All together waisted 45min and at the end I had to scan everything myself. If there was closer Cosco I would probably switch. Each time I go there are always some kind of issues and employees that act as they try to help but they really are not. I should mention that I am member since 2000 and each year the service is getting worse.

This is my local Sam Club for big bulk items, especially for parties (think superbowl bash)! They just remodeled the place, it looks nice. Cleaned and organized. They have a friendly staff that I have encountered. I just wish they would offer more organic choices like Costco does and maybe coupons in the mail would be nice too. I would recommend to come here during the week day (nights) much slower than coming here during the weekend day time. If you must come here during the weekend, I would recommend to start your day here in the early AM or later like dinner time or else you'll have road rage in the parking lot and cart crashing in the store especially when they offer FREE samples. I mean you can literally have a meal for FREE if you stay there long enough, LOL!

I've been shopping at Sam's for years and I'm happy to report this location will not be closing! Out of all locations nearby, this is my fav club (def beats M.P.). While both Sam's and Costco have good savings, discounted items, great finds and a similar meat & seafood dept, I love that I can pickup a 2 pack steak at Sam's when I don't have room in my freezer for 4 at Costco. Sam's caters to smaller quantities in addition to bulk which is nice when you really don't need more. For me, its an added bonus to shop here. Organic whole chickens, organic & grass fed beef, crab legs, fresh salmon & tuna. If you happen to see the Member's Mark Smoked & Flame roasted Norwegian salmon, try it. It's my new fave. Fresh berries, sometimes fresh mango slices. Cases of Kombucha. Great selection of apples. As with any store, not everything is at its prime. I always always check expiration dates and feel veggies/fruit, but this store does get busy and turn over is high. I've never seen a single Cowboy ribeye steak at Costco. 2 dozen Organic Free range eggs for $7? Can't beat that. Half loaf breads. There are definitely perks to each store, but there are some unique grocery & non items here. Member's Mark isn't bad although I do have my go-to Kirkland items. The one downside is the selection isn't as varied as the other store. Cheese & wine section isn't the greatest. Some produce is more expensive than your local grocery store. Let's face it, most generalize Sam's as inferior to Costco as if it caters to lower socioeconomic status. Regardless of income, each store is unique in their own way. Worker's are always friendly and helpful. Items are nicely stocked. It's not always a zoo (except for weekends). I try to shop on week days (so peaceful). They don't give a ton of samples (if you happen to be a sample person). Return's aren't as carefree, but I still like Sam's and yes convenience is another great perk! Ps. Being super hungry, I just tried their hot dog recently (haven't had in years) and it didn't sit well with me, only took a few bites but hey, you might like it. Heard the $1 churros are great even though I'm not really a churro gal. Pizza slices are for when you're absolutely starving (in which case you shouldn't be grocery shopping in the first place, like me) and in need of pizza.

This is a review of Shorewood Liquidators, also known as sliBuy.com, of Shorewood, IL…read more sliBuy Auctions, also known as Shorewood Liquidators, is that rare company that tells you in plain and easy to understand language just how they make money. 1) THEY CREATE FAKE BIDDERS TO BID AGAINST YOU: Go to sliBuy.com, then go to the section marked "Terms & Conditions". Read the paragraph clearly titled "Seller Bidding". It tells you, IN PLAIN ENGLISH, that they bid against you. Yes, they actually have their computer program create fake bidder names, and this computer program then makes you bid up to your maximum pre-determined bid (they know it because you were dumb enough to enter the maximum you were willing to pay). If you did not enter your maximum bid and decide to "snipe" bid in real time as the auction draws to a close, their software determines how many times your internet IP address logged on and looked at that item- and the computer program does the rest. If you don't bid enough money, the computer program's fake bidder "wins" the item and it will be relisted next week under a new "auction ID number". Did you understand that? This is not a true auction site. There is a saying in poker that when you sit down at the table and can't spot the sucker, then YOU are the sucker. 2) THE LABELS "NEW/OTHER", "USED", "SHELF PULL", and "UN-INSPECTED ITEM" MEAN NOTHING: Go to sliBuy.com and then to "Terms & Conditions". Go to the paragraph clearly marked "Terms". They are telling you that "new" doesn't mean anything. An employee earning $12 an hour and at a very fast pace has to label things and photograph the outside of the box. What they call a "new" professional paint sprayer model XYZ sold at Home Depot could very well mean "Model ABC used for two years by a paint company, no longer working, and important parts removed so that it will never work again". In a court of law, a "reasonable" person could understand and define what "new" or "used" means. Here, they tell you- IN PLAIN ENGLISH, that this means nothing. So that is what sliBuy tells you, if you bothered to read the easy to understand large print from their website. *** Now this is what I tell you....I met many people who buy from sliBuy each week, and then re-sell the items on Craigslist, eBay, OfferUp, flea markets, and even (in the case of fake Pampers diapers returned by Amazon customers) to inner city "mom and pop" corner stores. I know one lady who buys about 100-200 boxes of diapers from sliBuy each week! She re-sells them to the inner city corner stores where customers are not the type to write letters to the manufacturer complaining about the degrading quality of the product. Another gent I met is "Hank". He makes a living buying whatever is "hot" at the moment, such as juicers for people wanting to lose weight gained during the Covid-19 pandemic. He brings an electrical cord and drives down the building to an outdoor electrical outlet, plugs in each of the electrical items he just "won", and tests them. If any are inoperable, he returns right away for store credit. Since he is a "regular" there, he has no trouble and is helped by staff. And that is why I give it 5 stars. For people who actually read the easy to understand "Terms & Conditions", and for "regular" customers, it is a way to make a living. If you are too lazy and dumb to spend 20 seconds reading their "Terms & Conditions", you will lose.
