I was talked into buying the 20" rims as they assured me that they would fit my car even though they are 2" larger than the original equipment. I spent $2,450 and the car looked AWESOME. Less than a month later, the front tire wasn't holding air so I called them up and they told me to bring the car in. I thought I had a nail in the tire but once there, they told me my rim was cracked and gave me the number to who they recommend to fix it. I became upset because of the way I was treated by Daniel and the other guy working up front. They were HORRIBLE, said I was lying, and accused me of hitting a pothole and putting fix a flat in the tire. After leaving a review about our experience, I received a call from the owner. He offered to replace the rim and I would pay half the cost and take the review down. He was going to call the rim manufacturer and call me back with a price. It was really cold outside with temperatures in the teens and I was having to put air in the tire daily. It is February 10, about 3 months later and I am still waiting for the owner to call back. I ended up having to pay to have it repaired by a company that I found on my own who confirmed that there was no fix-a-flat in the tire and that the rim was indeed damaged. I believe that I was sold a damaged rim and once the temperatures dropped outside, it started losing air. The company that did the repair rolled out the rim and tire to the waiting area and peeled the tire back and showed me that there was nothing put inside the tire and the rim was definitely damaged. See photo. I could have gotten rims and tires from Discount Tire like I have done in the past and received much better service and a warranty. Before you buy anything here just know that no matter what they tell you in the store "ALL SALES ARE FINAL NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGE" is printed on your receipt and they have no problem throwing that back in your face just like they did to me. After diagnosing the issue, they told me that a piece of weatherstripping around the sunroof had come loose, allowing water to leak into the car. The moisture had begun corroding the wiring connection for the rear passenger light. Whenever that light flickered or went out, it caused a chain reaction that affected other features, including the auto wipers. The dealership's proposed solution was extreme: they recommended replacing the wiring harness and light assembly, installing new weatherstripping, and even putting in a brand-new headliner. Their estimate? Just over $6,000 before tax. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion and brought my SUV to Addison Body Shop and Glass. The owner, Mike, took a careful look and immediately reassured me that most of the dealership's recommendations were unnecessary. Instead of replacing parts, he reattached the weatherstripping, cleaned the light and its connections, and carefully treated the minor water stains on the headliner. By the time he was finished, everything was working perfectly--and the headliner looks spotless. The difference in cost was night and day. Addison charged me only a fraction of the dealership's quote, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. Mike was upfront, honest, and clearly more interested in fixing the actual problem than in padding the bill with unnecessary replacements. I left feeling relieved and extremely grateful. Addison Body Shop and Glass saved me thousands of dollars, restored my SUV to perfect condition, and proved that there are still shops out there that value honesty and quality workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
