On 5/2826 I made a pickup order for a rotisserie chicken,meat lover pizza and cheese pizza. The chicken had blood in it when I cut it and the cheese pizza was partially done. Just ruun my dinner for the night. Call back to Sam got a person from customer service and told her happened, I was told nothing could be done over the phone ,would have to come. I just have to complain about the cafe section. I bought a tea bottle and the cashier refused to give me a cup to get some ice. The brewed tea was kinda dark for my taste so I needed some ice. She said I have to buy a soft drink. Not even a small courtesy cup! Btw, you must use scan and go app to order any food in the cafe also. I will use the bottle to collect the ice instead! I had two tires replaced there today and the guys in the tire department were awesome and did a great job! I highly recommended that if you need tires go to Sam's Club in Athens/Bogart! (They even handled my grumpiness with class!) When you go just treat them better than I did! read more

This review is only for the gas station at Sam's Club. We came here to fill up the gas tank before driving back to Atlanta. The gas price was the least expensive in Athens. The gas station was clean, and located across the parking lot from Sam's Club. The station's queue area leading up to the pumps could accommodate many cars and the painted lines were straight and visible. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait in a long line; however, the wait time was extended due to customers not being in any hurry. I usually see a Sam's Club employee walking around the gas station, no matter where I go; not this time, though. read more

This is a huge shout out to Sam's Club Optical Dept. I cannot thank the wonderful staff there enough! Especially Kimberly! Let me tell you about how wonderful she is!!!! Both my husband and myself had trouble with our prescription glasses after having them made via Sam's Club. IT WASN'T SAM'S CLUB that made the errors! It was the optician's office where we had our eye exams in another city! And, the trained eye of Kimberly helped us both to figure out what was wrong! We had to go back to the eye doctor to get the prescriptions changed and then back to Sam's Club to get new lenses. The service at Sam's was more white glove than many of the five star hotels in which we stayed for work! Seriously! So, if you need glasses, go see Kim at Sam's Club in Bogart, Ga! Went to go in the morning and they refused to let me shop. I pay THEM to let me shop there and THEN give them money for products and I can't shop at 9am?! What?! Extremely disappointed. The worker there was rude about it and didn't let me shop and so we turned around to leave and the door was locked from the inside out (major fire hazard) and they made me walk all the way around to the exit where people go to leave after shopping. I was stopped and asked for my receipt. I would have one if I was "allowed" to shop at the place I pay to shop at. Furthermore, I have an autoimmune disorder and work full time. I can't be shopping late in the afternoon after work where it is overcrowded. I am shocked that a company like this would deny a customer who has health issues from shopping during morning, safer hours during Covid. Shame on you Sam's Club. Horrible service for curbside pickup. Order wasn't ready by the specified time, and if you call the store no one answers. Called 5 times in a row, waiting on the line for 5 minutes each time. After 25 minutes of waiting, my order still was not ready. This is a common issue too, every time I do curbside pick up I remember why I hate coming here. If it weren't for the bulk prices I wouldn't ever come to this store again. Ridiculous. The store is always in good order and clean. The pharmacy is pure GOLD. The pharmacy staff have been so helpful we know them and they know us. "Scam and Go" is a must. Use it once and you will never use a register again. It's also very valuable because it lets you track what you're spending while you're still shopping. I really liked Sam's club! BUT it's a little ridiculous to start cooking baked chickens right before you close. My husband went in on Sunday afternoon right at 4:30 the person working in that area said the chickens would be ready in 26 mins. Well it's 5:20 and they aren't ready.. why don't you cook hour before you close. you close at 6:00.. amd what a waste to have all those chickens sitting there... so does that mean you will reheat them for the next day..that's pretty disgusting.. I think you need to manager your time better in that area! read more

Manager here is called Angelique. I never would have thought I could get personal service at such a big corporation and "bulk shopping club". My issue was too complicated for the corporate-level people to solve, but was easy enough for her. I was almost going to quit that membership if not because of Angelique's strong customer orientation. Another favorite thing: beef patties in bulk in the mea, or the cheeseburger in the food court. UPDATE: the store manager contacted me later this day and an appointment was scheduled for the following week where my install was completed. I was informed that 1 of the 2 employees in the Tire & Battery Center that day had a family emergency that morning and for insurance purposes they had to close it down. The staff were very helpful and friendly the day of the install so IMO they made up for it. ------------- Aggravated by the poor customer service experienced today in store and with the app. Used the Sams Club app to select tires for my wife's vehicle and went in to the store to place an order on 8/4 to take advantage of the sale price. We ordered Goodyear brand because it was the first option that came up matching my wife's vehicle make and model. I returned to the store on 8/9 for the scheduled install to find out that the tires were not the right size so Sams had to order a new set from two options that would fit and asked me to come back today (8/16). Called at 8:30 this morning, an hour before my appt to make sure the correct tires were there and the person on the phone said they were there and I confirmed my appt time for 9:30. I arrived at Sams this morning to find out the Tire and Battery Center w closed because apparently all of their employees had over worked their hours already this week. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the poor customer service and as of right now I'm out $390 and stuck with our old tires for at least another week. I will be looking for another place to get my tires in the near future. Hopefully the new Costco will be built sooner than expected! read more

The very worst run Sam's Club I've ever been to. And what's even worse is the management doesn't care. They always blame it on corporate. Forget trying to get a number to corporate. Only one number and it's customer service and they tell you there is no corporate. Then they hang up. But Athens Sam's club does not have much product compared to other Sam's. First time in this Sam's club, so we wandered around, lost, looking for the items we stopped in for. Found what we needed and were glad to see they had Puff's Plus with Lotion, the other Sam's we've been to recently haven't had them. Check out went smoothly and we were out the door in good time. I had horrible customer service from this location a couple weeks ago. I ordered photos from their photo center and went to pick them up 2 days later, the weren't ready. The lady at the desk was extremely rude and I ended up having to wait 30 mins (while holding my 1 year old son) for her to print them for me. I've never experienced customer service like this before. I was so upset about the lady's attitude that I filed a complain to one of the other employees. I will probably never be back. read more

Came in to get passport pictures taken because they're much cheaper than anywhere else. Good thing they're cheaper than anywhere else because otherwise they'd never have business. Got there at 10:45 a.m. and was told by the dipstick manager that we'd have to wait until 11:30 for someone that works in the photo area to come in to take our pictures because apparently no one there was smart enough to know how to take a picture. Manager was very rude and about as intelligent as a brick. Would be giving this store one star but the lady that took our picture when she got there at 11 was very friendly and way to nice to be working a deadbeat job like Sam's Club of Athens GA. I was in today and all I saw was black girls and one white girl,one girl was fusing with the white girl and she just walked out,Then all the girls done was run their mouth about the white girl.Which is very unprofessional. I had came in another day and the white girl I believe her name was Stephanie or Steven,was so nice and polite to me which is a change the girls are usually real rude,but she was so nice they must have really made her mad for her just to walk out like that.Poor lady! Pharmacy dept is a joke! My mother's prescription was called in by her physicians nurse at 10:00 am. I came to pick it up at 6:00 pm only to be told that it wasn't ready, and that it would be another 35 mins...I actually waited 57 mins..... I call that total incompetence. read more
