Besides one employee, I believe his name is Joseph, they all have an attitude when asking for help. The cafe is terrible and will not purchase from there again. I love the convenience of Sam's Club - thought I'd try the order ahead and pick up - never did it before - AND WILL never do it again-I know these kids are trying - and all I see is after checking in as requested - is over an HOUR wait. This continues to be our stop for certain items when doing our grocery shopping and stocking up on supplies. We like to get the chicken wings here, I also like their spices and baking section here for supplies. Some other items we often get here are salami, pepperoni, heavy whipping cream, pickles, and snacks. Their parking lot is pretty big, and though it's busy we typically get a spot easily. The check out is scan your own, and you can do it at the check out or scan items with your phone in the app. We've found some pretty good deals here and some fun snack and candy flavors that we haven't seen elsewhere. read more

Came in the other day because I had to vet some stuff and some food also. The store was clean but very crazy busy. The staff are always so nice and helpful. The food is always fresh. When we got done and just finished putting our stuff into our car one of the employees ended up losing control of all the shopping carts he was trying to bring in and hit our car and the car next to us as well because he had to many carts to handle and he lost control of them, he did apologize but he should've tried to take that many carts in at once knowing he couldn't handle that many. read more

Love Sam's club. It's like that OTHER warehouse store but somehow seems more accessible and I don't spend $600 by automatically walking in the door. Sam's baked good are so delicious and perfect to grab for parties when you don't have time to bake. I just discovered they have a gas station. I filled my tank last week for cheaper than I have in yearssssssss. Easy to insert your Sam's club card or use the app. Simple! Love the drive up option. I used it all football season for our team feed dinners. Who wants to carry 65 gatorades when you can have them delivered directly to your truck. Win win! read more

Had a terrible experience at the Sam's Club Café. The cashier was extremely rud. Throwing/ sliding food across a counter top to customers when playing their food with no gloves and speaking disrespectfully to customers, especially when they could not recall their order numbers. When I tried to clarify about using Scan & Go, the employee snapped and said it doesn't mean you can order food and pick it up later, which was said in a very unprofessional tone. I don't normally come to this location unless I'm in the area because it's just not up to par as far as customer service goes. The employees always look irritated and disgruntled. The biggest issue I have with this location is the snack bar. It's never properly staffed. The line is always 20 people long. I've started to order from the app, but even then it takes forever because they're so behind. You'd think a manager would step in and help, but I've never seen it. I feel bad for them, talk about stressful! They need to come up with a system or hire more people. read more

My grandma, brother, and I were patiently waiting in line at the food court and there was two other ladies ahead of us waiting at the register. Literally nobody came to take our order. There were two people working in the kitchen and one woman seemed to be facing us preparing food and didnt care to come take anyones order. Mind you the line wasnt even long and still nobody came to take our order. we stood in the same spot for about 10 minutes at the register and eventually left. The woman prepping food looked at us and still didnt care to come take anyones order. If im paying for a membership Id expect someone to atleast spend 30 seconds to take my order so we can all move on with our day. We come to Sam's Club just about every week for Gas or Groceries. For the most part staff is very friendly & welcoming. The club is clean and offers a wide variety of foods and supplies. Gas prices are usually lower than other places and not as busy as Costco. So we stop here for our gas for multiple vehicles. We love their Sushi section- fresh sushi made right in the store yummy. They offer a few varieties and size portions. Food Cafe: Staff are friendly, items are hot and ready to go usually. They offer pepperoni & cheese pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, berry ice cream sundaes, sodas, and icees. Sadly they stopped selling Combination pizza and churros a month ago. Recent few visits, they have no pizza at all available when we can in about 5p & sometimes closed completely. We like to get our pizza here for the family on Friday nights. Vision Center: Always very friendly staff we get out contacts ordered here every 6 months and have never had any issues. Great prices and order takes just a few days to come in. Then we get a phone call once ready for pick up. Tire Center: We have 3 cars we have purchased tires from in the past. In a recent visit, I came in to ask some questions about some tires we wanted to purchase. Reps are working in the workbay so you have to scan a QR code located near the register to get help at the tire desk. We saw 3 people in the tire bay, no one was working on a car at that moment from what I could see they were all together just talking from what we could see. After about 3 mins one of the tire reps came out. We spoke to Melissa at the tire desk, this was the second time I had worked with her in the past and was not impressed by our first visit here a few months prior, as she was making us feel dumb when we purchased the wrong tires online when we came to get them installed even thought we put our vehicle type online and the site showed us tires to purchase for our vehicle. Now, we were ready to purchase the correct tires per the advice we received prior but wanted to make sure getting the right ones this time. She again makes you feel stupid like I should know these simple questions, then as we are talking the other 2 tire reps came from work bay to the desk. Another person a few mins later comes up to the two reps like they know him and they start talking & walking out to the work bay to a vehicle. Mid conversation with Melissa she says can you hold on a moment and proceeds to go out in the work bay along with the other 2 reps & this other guy, they all start laughing and carrying on a conversation. First, She should have finished our conversation then went out to the others, this was rude of her to do. So much for helping me, Really you needed 3 tire reps for that other guy you are working with. After a few mins of waiting we left & because of poor customer service for the second time in the tire center. Sam's Club lost out on a $1100 tire deal. So I went down to America's Tire where they answered all my questions with a friendly attitude and were able to fit us with the tires we needed. read more

I've been coming here for more than 6 years, and today might be my last day, in the parking lot collecting carts, there was a young lady with pinkish blonde hair wearing a vulgar shirt stating "fuck around and find out" with her Sam's club work vest on, I'm not positive but I'm almost sure Sam's club has a policy on their work place uniform, it's so unprofessional not only did my daughter read her shirt and ask me what it meant but she's out here representing her work with that type of clothing, assuming someone takes her shirt the wrong way and they get violent or confront her then she's bringing issues to this store, completely inappropriate specially with everything going on with our nation at the moment. Im rattled by my experience today. I have never been treated so poorly nor bullied by any employee also the blatant racism I saw was disgraceful. I had a horrible experience with curbside pickup for the 20th time but after trying for almost 2 DAYS and 4.5 hours total to get my own order. I was done!!! I wanted it cancelled and to shop for myself. When I called corporate, I was told by corporate to walk in ( because they couldn't even get through to anyone) they told me to ask customer service to retrieve my order or refund me. So I do, I walked in after 2 hours in spot 14 on my second day and ask for a refund.... He said unfortunately he cant curbside doesn't want him to keep refunding waiting customers! He told me to talk to curbside pickup crew . What a crap show curbside crew is, no one will talk to you, you get eye rolls, disrespected and snapped at. I was doing what I was told by staff and corporate. Then it really goes downhill this female employee walks by square glasses, 60+ years old, bangs, medium light straight length hair with blond highlights skinny is and tall. She is the biggest problem! While I'm being ignored a women next to me who is also a waiting customer asks this passing employee"are you going to help us? she (as in me) has been her awhile" she said it's not my department, I said to the customer that she didn't care about helping which is, she stated she wouldn't because it's not her department. This staff member, Let's call her haggle, haggle snaps at me says I can see why you weren't help when you act like that ( I had been trying 2 days for a total of 4 hours to get 1 gd order I'm not rainbows and sunshine) but I wasn't mean to anyone still said thank you to staff but haggle snapped on me and attacked my character berating me and then proceeded to bully and intimidate me while I was in the store. I was beyond done at this point!!! She walks away stares at me rallying 2 other women employees, so I head over to Customer Service to cancel my order at this point. I'm going to shop for it myself!!! She stares at me with 2 others staff members then as I get closer in the customer service queue she walks over and stands next to the women who was supposed to help me. I explain again what happened with my order they both smile she says I can't help you I was told you can no I just can't!!!! So I knew the male CS coworker from before was my best chance because I was being bullied at this point. I asked the male cs and he said yes he would try to help me. Haggle laughed and talked with her coworker and then walked back over to registers and stared at me the whole time. Are we in high school? Wtf was that. I have been with Sam's club for 8 years as a plus member. I immediately cancelled my membership and it was because the way I was treated by the older women with glasses bangs straight medium hair tall skinny and told old to act that way. Also with the way the female coworkers gathered around her while they all stared at me after the rude confrontation. I'm disgusted that a staff member can bully and intimidate a customer without repercussions. I wasn't the only one she was horrible to she told a women who didn't speak English that she won't help her if she doesn't speak English and it's not her problem. The GM needs to do something about the racism and bullying that there staff treats the customers with. read more

This Sam's Club location is very organized and clean. The entrance employee checking the membership card was very friendly. It's always good to run into a smile upon entering a business. They have lots of good deals and the quality of their store brand is just as good as name brand goods. We use the Sam's Club app which I so highly recommend. Scan and go as you shop and pay. Much faster checkout for us and we don't have to wait in lines. We went on a Saturday and sadly their taste testing stations were nearly all closed. Out of the entire store there was 3 opened. I felt a little uncomfortable at times grabbing a sample because the person passing them out just glares at you as if your looking for a free handout. Everytime we come we spend $300-$600 a trip, with two trips a month for just one household. Getting ONE sample shouldn't be an issue but than again, we can't force people to like their jobs. We continued on- enjoying our shopping trip, buying other goodies, stocking up on necessities. The food court was out of a lot items but a soda and polish dog is always unbeatable. The price is pretty much priceless and delicious. We like to get one as we walkout and eat it in the car while waiting behind multiple cars getting gas. (Line goes by very quick) Overall, we like Sam's Club. My family always ask me to compare Costco and Sam's Club- I say there are things Costco has and that Sam's Club doesn't and vice versa. So I have both membership and depending on where we shopped at last, we pay the other a visit. Although I must say- Costco takes the win for samples, if you go there on a weekend- it's on and cracking, poppin with samples at every station! Love it. read more

I ordered groceries for pick up that were supposed to be ready between 4-5p. I got here at 5p and left at 6p with no groceries because literally no one ever came out. I came back the next day, because they never canceled it as I requested, and so I waited another 1hr 15m and got my stuff, finally. Always interesting to see the people pull, bombard the Sams worker, and suddenly they get their shit after 10 minutes. Good job rewarding terrible behavior. In the meantime, I send my nephew inside to get pizza. Took 30m for someone to finally come and talk to him at the food court, and after they took his 3 pizza order, they told him it would be 1 hour. They didn't say anything before and this was just your average day of the week. Atrocious service, and we pay membership fees, this isn't Walmart. However, the food court has been shit for awhile, with slow ass service and only one older lady working with two grown men with their thumbs up their asses. And they are paid WELL at Sams for shit performance. Absolutely fucked. The manager of this store is doing a deplorable job with their responsibility here. read more

I have both memberships at both warehouses Sam's being one warehouse and the other warehouse is Costco. Sam's Club is a little less expensive for some of the same items and easier to get in and out of. One thing I do like about Sam's Club is that on their app I can scan my items pay on my phone and walk out the store after I Have my basket checked. But I love the scan and go feature at Sam's Club. I must note there are things I definitely like about Costco one of them being the return policy. I wish Sam's Club had a better return policy. read more

It took almost AN HOUR to get our curbside order. The worker made a comment about being short staffed - unsolicited feedback, turn off curbside pick-up as an option then. I would have rather just went in and shopped my order myself had I known it would take almost an hour just to get my order! In case you weren't aware, the intention, understanding, and expectation of curbside pick-up is that it be quicker than going into the store and shopping it. I have been a member of Sam's Club for over four years. This is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere. This is the cheapest place to get lunch in town and also they have the best gas prices in town. The staff that work at this location are super friendly very efficient very helpful. The café is one of my favorite places to go to the cheese. Pizza is amazing. The twisted yogurt is absolutely one of my favorite items that they have everyone that works. Here is super friendly very efficient. Very great establishment very great prices better parking than Costco. Better customer service in my opinion they definitely have something for everybody. Here they have a very white selection of electronics that she was from household items, larger quantity of food items and much more. They have two different memberships. They have the regular membership, which you don't get all the extra benefits that you do with the plus membership plus membership you get early access to the club, which is 8 AM. You can get your shopping done, which is absolutely amazing to get in and out and plus you get deals on Your prescription wear as well definitely worth paying the extra money to get the extra benefits of the plus membership plus if you have the MasterCard, you get five cents off the gallon at any gas station not just Sam's Club, which is another wonderful feature that they have great establishment and you could even sign up with any other of the cashiers for the credit card, very great establishment very great experience very clean restrooms very clean parking lot very clean café one of my favorite places to shop too I highly recommend Sam's Club Citrus Heights. Had to stop to fill up with had at SAMs club gas station. Gas is expensive wherever you go, however by going to Sam's club gas station you'll get club member prices which can save you about five cents per gallon at the pump. And you won't see cars pulled up every which way at the pump, which sometimes adds to the ever present feistiness of patrons who have been waiting in line. So there you have it, cheaper prices and smooth traffic flow. As a helpful hint, and if you really want to beat the crowds, the best time to fuel up during the week is between 10:30am and 1:30 pm. Lastly, you must be a club member and have a Sam's Club card in order to use the gas station. read more

Tire Center: Earl, Joel, and Melissa were all nothing but helpful in helping me navigate my tire situation. Spoke with the call center prior to coming in. Let's start by saying that no call center conversation is ever short but I do believe it was useful. I was able to reach someone to talk to in just a couple of minutes - no wait time = no built up annoyance. The most recent order was not populated in the system on their end, so we ended up plotting an appointment as a placement holder. Went into the club to explain the situation. Joel was attentive and honest and Earl was the OG book of knowledge. Earl came up with a solution in super sonic record timing and reassured me that the paper order and reciept will be fine for the appointment booked. I came in stressed after the phone call and left the club with 20lbs off my shoulder. Day of appointment, Melissa and Joel were both prompt and helpful in navigating the situation. Really grateful for their help!! Huge kudos to them all. I will absolutely support the club's decision to give them proper appreciation outside of a verbal kudos!! I love this location. I shop here weekly for our grocery, paper and cleaning staples. The scan and go feature on the app is easy to use and makes my shopping very fast and a lot less work then unloading/reloading all of the items during check out. I dont purchase alcohol or other items so this is a great option for me. The staff is always friendly and the location is very easy to get in/out of. The fuel station has excellent prices and moves quickly. This is an excellent alternative to the other local warehouse stores that are crowded, with long slow lines. The annual fee for my membership is well worth the cost and I earn back much more than the cost each year, so it pays for itself and then more. read more

Well me and my wife went to get a quick cheap lunch and ate some pizza and hotdogs from the cafe. Was good as usual especially for the price. We decided to buy some dessert to bring home. So we grabbed some muffins and cookies and cream ice cream. We checked out, my wife carried the muffins as I carried the ice cream on the way out. Now just to make things transparent my wife and I are a mixed couple. My wife is white and I am Hispanic and black. I didn't and should have caught the woman employee's name at the exit.
