No, I won't list each and every item, but just know that for YEARS, I've purchased everything I've needed to live, exclusively at Sams lol. Today is mayhem at Sam's Club the place has been virtually invaded. As a result lines are super long. Even for the self-check in option. Healthy choices are limited as compared to Costco. The Cafe offers pizza, pretzels and frankfurters discounted. They have a great nuts section with some unsalted options. So, always a great way to save money when you are on the Westside. read more

Oh boy- I am not ready for Christmas!!!! I am planning to spend this Labor Day Weekend putting away my summer stuff and bringing out my fall decor...please let me enjoy fall! I remember growing up, Thanksgiving was a season complete with their own decorations of leaves and dried multi colored corn husks and mesmerizing table settings. I just don't want to let that go! On this trip to Sam's, I filled my car with gas at the best prices in town- about ten cents per gallon cheaper than everywhere else. I picked up fresh produce at great prices and a huge three pack box of Kutchers pumpkin pancake mix! Oh yes can you smell them?!!! I come here every few weeks and they have a lot to offer if you buy things in bulk. You can't beat the price. Also I stop here for gas. With a Sams card you save about 5 cents per gallon which adds up over time. The prices are pretty comparable to gas stations in the area. Even of you have to pay $40 or $50 for a membership, it adds up if you stop here often. read more

The biggest complaint our family has is 1) the fried chickens they sell are TERRIBLE. Dry and tough. Even our Cats will not eat the chicken. An employee told us we must be getting the chickens that were cooked the "day before" which are often put out to "get them sold." Compared to Costco fried chickens ... there're IS no comparison. Near 100% of the time Costco chickens are juicy and tender and ALWAYS fresh. They have a date/time cooked sticker on the carton unlike Sam's. 2) Costco will take near anything they sold back no matter the time limit. We never abuse the return policy and rarely return items. We bought a pack of AAA battery's but wanted to return them for an AA pack and they refused because it was not within the 2 week policy (which we were unaware existed knowing the Costco policy ... our bad but never, ever knew this policy existed at Sam's. We are like most of you reading this review of ours. Average family, consumer, want to just shop and save and be treated well. Do not abuse the system. And just wish to add the "dry chickens" is not an isolated or one or two time experience ... it has been multiple times. We only ever buy at Sam'S (the roasted chickens) if we shop at Walmart. Otherwise only Costco. We just think that the chicken deals really attract consumers and this problem (and sketchy return policy) ruins our desire to shop at Sam's. Good selection but the service is terrible. I heard about some plants at the east side Sam's, but was closer to this location so I figured I'd try. It took asking 5 different people before I found out they didn't even have plants, then one extremely slow moving employee blocked two aisles for way too long. When we went to self check out, it took forever to find an employee that could mark us as over 21 so we could buy a bottle of wine. read more

I bought a battery for my GMC 1500 pickup and had it installed. It took almost three hours to have it installed. A month later my truck wouldn't start or kept failing. I took it to the dealership to have it looked at. They determined that the battery had been installed incorrectly. They said that the positive cable from the under hood fuse block to battery fuse block was loose and caused the terminal to melt a hole on top of battery due to overheating. This caused a hole on battery top. This resulted in excessive voltage drop so the had to replace the positive battery cable, the negative battery cable and battery junction box. I also had to buy a new battery. Total cost was $1,352.80. I took the battery back to Sam's and returned it for a refund. I complained to the manager and told him that the incorrect installation was their fault and was very costly. I told him I felt they needed to do something to make it up and he said he would sent message and to corporate but as of today I have heard nothing. Very disappointed. read more

Good tire prices, RIDICULOUSLY SLOW to put them on. I can put tires on by hand in less than a third the time. It wouldn't be bad if they had told me they take more than 90 minutes, even with me being the very 1rst appointment of the day. Then I could have taken an Uber to work and saved money by getting an hour more of work in. Any money saved on the tires was lost in the money I would have made at work instead of waiting. I caved in and finally got a Sam's membership card during the Coronavirus pandemic. I figured it was a good idea. I could get bigger portions of food and avoid going to the stores for longer periods of time. If you get a plus membership, they deliver most items to your home for no extra charge. They sent a couple of items I couldn't find at the store like my bf's Monster energy drinks and my puppy's dog food. He's so freaking picky with food and prefers human food. He'll usually only eat Cesar brand dog food. Lately, they've been limited on meat and cleaning supplies...and of course toilet paper! They've also had less dates for grocery pickup. Even if you pickup groceries, you still have to get in a line to go inside the store. They were backed up so my order wasn't ready until a few hours later. I get it. Everything has been a mess lately. Overall, most of the staff was kind and helpful. You could tell some were miserable and didn't want to be there. I understand that too. Sometimes we all have to do things we don't want to do. This location seems like it's smaller than the one on Pellicano. I plan to go again soon! read more

Really low customer service. I just had to buy a case of beer and 3 people basically ignored me. Not a single care of concern or a willingness to do a good job. At the self pay registers. Thank goodness for Scan and Go! If not a scan and go item I'm not paying for it. These people look like they were waiting to get off and I was in the way. That's why I have a COSTCO card also! read more

I've lived in El Paso almost all my life, and my family and I have been shopping at this Sam's club ever since I was a little boy. I remember climbing up into the big metal carts with my silver game boy advance, my dad flashing his membership cart at the greeter who welcomed us into the store. We would walk past the electronic section, where I would buy my first iPod, a 3rd generation nano. My dad would buy his first DSLR Nikon camera there, which instilled in me a lifelong love of photography. I remember riding by the books section and seeing the 2nd Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, hardbound. I asked my dad to hand the book to me, and he placed it along with the 1st book of the series in the cart, fueling my love of reading. We would pass by the rotisserie chickens, one of my favorite childhood foods, on the way to the frozen food section, full of hot pockets, both breakfast and pepperoni pizza flavored, eggo waffles, and toaster strudel. You can only choose one, my dad would say, my childhood brain struggling to decide what to have for breakfast before school. We would pass by the fruit section, aisles full to bursting with succulent grapes, crispy apples, and abundant bunches of bananas. We would always get apples because they were my favorite; my dad would cut them into slices and give them to me as a snack when I was doing my math homework. We would pass by the condiments aisle, and my parents being Filipino, they would place these gigantic bottles of vinegar for cooking and for cleaning into the cart. I swear they were almost as big as I was. On rare occasions, we would also buy a huge 25 pound bag of rice, my dad grunting from the effort of placing it under the cart on the rack. After paying, if I was lucky, we would go over and get a hot dog and a pretzel or maybe a pizza slice if I was feeling particularly hungry. Afterward, I would get out of the cart and ride on the handle as my dad pushed the cart across the asphalt to our car. He would unlock the door, and I would run into the car to buckle my seatbelt. Then, we would drive on home back to my mom, grocery store trip complete. I still come to this sam's club every week to buy cheese, almond butter, cauliflower pearls, and to eat the occasional hot dog. This sam's club is special to me. All these memories and all these good times come flooding back every time I pass through those automatic doors. And soon, when I move away to wherever life takes me, I may never step foot inside again. But it will always hold a special place in my heart. read more

I have always been a big fan of Sam's Club because they always have the supplies I need for my non-profit. My Executive Director has sent me many times to pick up supplies and not only are they extremely helpful when I am there, but they also have a variety of ways for me to pick up. Sometimes I place the orders in advance and they have a cart waiting for me at the customer service desk with everything I ordered. This is usually the easiest and fastest way for me to avoid having to grab everything in the store. However, on this trip I went in to not only renew my non-profits membership but also walk around the store and find the supplies I needed. The store has not changed much since the last time I had been there so finding all the supplies was especially simple. To make my trip easier I was also able to renew my membership at the register when I paid for all of the items. My trip was between 5-6 pm and it was extremely packed. Although I am always impressed with them because their lines can get long sometimes but I was up at the register pretty quickly. Seeing as how it was already late I decided to pick up some pizza from their cafe inside and take it back to the family. I ordered the family combo with a 16" Pizza with everything on it that also came with cheesy bread and marinara sauce, a 2-liter of coke, and I think it was six chocolate chip cookies all for about $15. I also order two additional 16" pepperoni pizzas on the side.The wait was about 15 minutes before my order was ready and then I was off. I got home and opened up the pizzas and the two pepperonni pizzas looked great, but to my disappointment my all topping pizza was partially stuck to the box so about four of slices were truly messed up. I thought it was me at first but I did not do anything on the trip back that could of caused such a disaster to happen. Overall the pizza tasted great, the cookies were a little hard but nothing a glass of milk could not fix. Overall it was a successful trip. read more

What can you say about Sams but that it is Wal-mart on steroids. i joined Sams years ago but when Costco opened a store closer to my home I chose it. I always liked the better quality of Costco even though it was a little more expensive. I also liked that Costco accepted American Express because I do not like building up a high credit card balance and being like most Americans I was not disciplined enough to pay off the card every month. AMEX forced me to do that. Then last year Costco quit accepting the Amex card so I quit shopping at Costco and went back to Sams. If you buy in bulk you can't go wrong. If you have a small family you may find buying toilet paper 20 rolls at a time a bit overkill. Like Walmart, the products they carry are determined by their bottom line and you may not find brands you like. They will likely have a comparable product but it might be a different brand. Tuff cookies folks; thats the way it is and you'll get used to it. Most everything is Chinese made so be choosey with food products. I wont touch Old Roy dog food for that very reason. read more

Way better than Costco! I come here all the time and find the staff is warm and friendly along with their great customer service. They carry all of the products I need when it comes to food and electronics and different household products.They also have a nice selection of alcohol. They also provide the self checkout stations which is very convenient. My only two gripes is that don't sell DIESEL! Last but not least, they no longer allow Legal open carry of a firearm at here after that Walmart shooting in El Paso, TX. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. They cannot guarantee my safety while I'm there, or anyone else for that matter. Criminals are criminals because they break the law. So making a rule that prevents good law abiding and citizens Licensed to Legally carry from defending themselves saves no lives. Quite the opposite in fact. Please respect the lives of your customers and those who wish to defend themselves and express their second amendment. I'm sure your business will thrive even more so. I've been coming to sams club since I was a little girl. If you need to bulk up for long term it's great. The staff is always friendly and help full. But what is not so friendly is the food court cashiers they seem bothered and not friendly and it looks like they don't want to be there they can come across as rude, non of them had name tags on so I wouldn't be able to give names I would like for that part to change because I love the hot dogs and will be coming back for years to come. read more

This review is about a cart attendant and not against Sams Club as a whole. People leave their trash in the carts and return them that way to the cart returns. The attendants don't clear the trash out when they bring the carts back to the cart area. On this visit, I avoided the carts in front that had trash in them and got a cart from the rear section. Of course, there was trash in that one also. So, I moved that cart and took the one in front of it (which didn't have trash in it) and proceeded to wipe it down with some disinfectant wipes I brought with me (and I threw my used wipe into trash can upon entering the store.)The cart attendant slammed the cart I took out of place (that had trash in it) back into the other carts. I'm guessing he was upset that I did not return the removed cart back in place. But I do remember getting email notifications from Sams Club stating they will be opening later so they can restock items and clean / sanitize store. I guess the carts aren't a major priority in cleaning. read more

That Sam's membership usually pays for itself on Gas savings alone. Sam's is a great place to buy in bulk, but their gas stations usually have the lowest prices per gallon. The station at this Sam's is relatively small, so it does get pretty full, but it also has a car wash, which I hadn't seen at a Sam's before. read more

A little older for a Sam's Club. Staff is about average in terms of friendliness and competence. Club is relatively clean, they just updated the bathrooms a few months ago. Parking is fair, access onto Mesa is awful due to traffic though that's not the fault of Sam's. I shop at this Sam's the most as it's the closest to home. You will get tired of people constantly asking you who your cable provider is. read more

Not the cleanest Sams Club, there is always items out of place and the bathrooms are usually dirty. And any time I visit this Sam's and the woman door greeter is there she checks for membership cards. The other door greeters never do that and every other Sam's club I've ever been to don't do that and I work at one and they don't do that (you can eat at the café without a card and you cant make purchases without one so it makes no sense). Plus she doesn't stop everyone, just random people. She let this family in front of me go in no problem but stopped me and asked to see my membership card. read more
