We haven't been Sam's members for at least 25 years. We got a membership at a reduced rate through Venmo offers. We've been going every week. The meat department is pretty decent as well as the bakery. It's easy to get swept up buying what you don't need but you can plan and save a bunch. My bills have been around $100 for a week. It's better to go earlier in the day. It's less crowded. There is also a scan and leave option which I like. read more

Overall, this location is getting harder to work with. Every time I try to work with customer service, I either have to wait forever or I've had the chat ended on me before I even finished getting help with my problem. Orders are being delayed more often and the website is never clear about when things are out of stock until after I've ordered and/or payed for it. It's getting frustrating. read more

Service is really slow, workers seem like they are not working at all and just stand around. Waited 30 minutes for one pizza slice, never have I had such a long time for a simple thing. Please check ur workers to see if they are on task. My friend purchased his tires from Sam's Club and one had a slow leak. He called December 1st and was told they were booked until December 23rd but they do take walk-in appointments. Honestly you can't wait weeks for a leaky tire. We got to Sam's Club and were told that walk-ins were not being taken on Sundays when he was specifically told this was the path. Another gentleman was also trying to get his tire fixed and was told the exact same story. We tried to get the store manager and after begging someone to help we got to her about 20 minutes later. She reiterated that walk-ins are not taken on Sundays but asked who they both spoke to as if both gentlemen were lying to her. After my friend said he was going to video the conversation miraculously the technicians said they would look at this tire and would call him around 3 or 4pm to pick up the truck again. She was very accusatory and unfriendly. After, we went quick shopping and I was shocked at the limited number of employees working the store. It was raining outside and all of the carts were wet so you had to wipe down your own cart. Everyone was definitely not happy with their jobs including the manager with the purple gray hair. They all hated their jobs and it definitely showed. We went to check out and there were only two lanes that weren't self service open. Fortunately we got there before the lines were fifteen people deep. We asked the check out lady if they were going to open the other lanes but she replied they didn't have enough employees to staff the lanes. This is why I shop at Costco because people are paid a fair wage and they are friendly and helpful. It's a completely different vibe than Sam's Club. If you don't pay well and don't have a positive environment people will call in sick and quit. This trickles all the way down from management to the lowest level employee. I am tired of people blaming the pandemic on poor service - it's the company culture that is sour here. My friend got a call only 30 minutes after we left that his tire was "fixed". All they did was inflate his tires because they said they were five years old and if they started to leak again he should take it back into them so I don't think this solved the issue. We had to drive back another 20 minutes when we could have waited there. My friend is cancelling his membership and is going to join Costco where it's a night and day difference for service and the entire shopping experience. Wake up Sam's Club before people get tired and all cancel their memberships. Honestly if memberships were free I wouldn't even shop here. read more

Pumpkin Pie: I've reviewed pumpkin pie to death over the years, so first I'm going to start with something new- a brief history. Pumpkins were first cultivated around 5,500 B.C. in Central America and were one of the first agricultural products brought back to Europe with early European explorers. By the time they were regularly grown in England they were called "pumpions," after the French "pompon," which is a reference to their round shape. The English in turn used pumpkins to create pumpkin pie. Now that our history lesson is over let's review Sam's Club's version of the classic treat. The filling is a nicely shaded dark orange that is delectably sweet and has a texture that is the ideal consistency (not dry & cracked or too wet & mushy). I'm not much of a pie crust guy, but Member's Mark does an amazing job with this one. It's flaky, flavorful, and has a slight chew to it that no other brand that I've tried has replicated. The color of the crust is also a lovely shade of brown. No pumpkin pie is complete without Cool Whip on top (not whipped cream, it has to be Cool Whip). If you eat your pumpkin pie without it you're a savage. Take it up a notch by pairing it with some pumpkin spice coffee. Member's Mark pumpkin pie is Doughboy approved. I always loved Sam's since we started to here my family and I , my husband and three children. Love everything about this whole store. Buying in bulks, in mayor boxes or jars. They also have TV's , laptops, clothes and other things you couldn't imagine. From food to household things. Love shopping here most of the time when my son takes me. We have a great time eating the samples from some of the food they cook. Sam's Club is the best store to buy for a big family or a business. I will continue to shop here everyday if I have to. I was charged sales tax on the full price of "instant savings" products offered. I was NOT charged the tax based on the discounted price I purchase the product at. Wisconsin tax law requires the business to be reimbursed by a third party, aka the manufacturer, for the business to charge tax on the full price. I present no coupon and Sam's Club is saying there was a coupon and sharing the coupon with me is privileged information. How can a coupon be privileged information? Keep in mind Sam's Club's instant savings flyer had 484+ products per their own website in the flyer. There were coupons from manufacturers for all those products? I did search the internet for coupons for the products I purchased during the time frame of Sam's Clubs flyer and so called "instant savings" and was able to find no coupons. Sam's Club was the only business with manufacture coupons? I suggest checking your receipts! read more

The people that go to this store and rude and inconsiderate, which leads to the employees having to put up with way too much to fake being nice for their shift. The selection of items is also lacking. I picked up an order right before 4th of July and was annoyed that some trashy fireworks tent was blocking the way to get to the limited pick up spots (I made the mistake of going into the store once-never again) but after seeing there was an incident that lead to OC spray being used and arrests being made I will not be back. read more

Was at the Franklin sam's club buying pillows. I grabbed two expensive sets for my husband & I, and want a few inexpensive ones for my children . I found a bin located under a sign 9.98. I thought to myself man these look nice they will be great for the kids. When I got to the register they rang up incorrectly. I brought it to the cashiers attention, and she quickly tried to resolve it by calling over a team lead. They walkied for Price check. "Nope these aren't the price". I told her that I would be happy to walk her over there. She came back with no this isn't the correct item for the sign. Ok....but this is what the bin was labeled at that is misleadingly. She said no and walked away. When I was asked to fill out a survey through my email (randomly generated) I received a reply from the manager of the store Adrian Romero: Absolutely if we have the wrong sign or price up we will honor it. However in this case other members (shoppers) Who were shopping Left the pillows in the wrong bin The whole bin was the same item. I looked through them no make sure mine was closed & not touched to much. I'm a pretty sensible person, but don't lie to me. So where to start. This store has lots of issues. I purchased Salmon that had 4 days until "best before" date just to stink up the whole house. I use their scan and go app just to beat the long check out lines. I constantly find that the prices are different. For example a baseball hat is listed on sale for $5.91, with the original price $9.48 but when you scan it it is $10.98. When I told the lady about the issue she said price is 10.98 take it or leave it. I was going to buy one regardless but father that attitude I did leave it. Also nothing unusual to see 3 or more employees just congregating and throwing around swear words. When my year is up. Costco here I come. read more

Just left this location after trying out the new "scan n go" feature. Great idea. Great innovation. Great app. Needs to be better communicated that there is a separate app than the Sams club normal app. This caused some confusion that required a cancelling of a pick up order that got scheduled. That said, the issues I needed help resolving and the attention paid to me by a front end manager named Colton was absolutely spectacular. Colton was courteous, competent, and even when he was given bad service on the phone by a sister store associate, he maintained his own professionalism in front of me. It's because of great service by Colton and his team that will keep me coming back. Thank you for a great resolution experience. read more

I love Sam's normally. But... they had a sale on tires and installation. So we ordered tires with 2 hours left of the sale, there was a countdown on the website. Then the tires are ready and we go to get them and the price is higher then what we were given when we purchased them. It did not give us an option to pay online mind you. So I bring up the price and they say, we can't honor the price because you purchased them after store hours on the last day of the sale. They have to be paid for by the time the sale ends. We still got a deal because they still had part of the sale going on but they wouldn't do anything for us. So beware... if there's a sale don't order on the last day of the sale unless you can pay for it online or pick it up same day. Clearly it doesn't make sense that you would be able to order them online until 11pm or whatever it was but then not get the sale price. read more

I ordered a Samsung refrigerator from Sam's on April 03, '22. It took two weeks to arrive from Samsung. The logistics company arrived on Good Friday at 6:40 am. Average doorways are approximately 30-31" wide. The box was 35" wide. The logistics company (OTP) refused to take the refrigerator out of the box without a waiver. We told them to take it back and we would request a waiver. After calling Friday, Saturday, and the following Monday, I never received a return call, thus no waiver. In the meantime, OTP Logistics returned the refrigerator to Samsung. Sam's offered to credit our account, and also offered a 15% discount if I reordered the same refrigerator. I went online to reorder,and the price had increased by $600. So, I have no new refrigerator. No usable discount. Never a return call from OTP Logistics. In all, a wholly unsatisfactory attempted transaction. Long story short, never buy large appliances at Sam's Club. It's not worth the headache, and hours on the phone. read more

Employees were very rude especially the manager of the store, who no longer allows business customers who use the flatbed carts to self-checkout, as I was instructed to put everything I loaded on the flatbed on the belt. This is their new policy. As a business customer, I loaded a flat cart with bags of potting soil, pet food, and lawn fertilizer, 2 packaged bundles of water, a stack of crates and totes. I made sure the bar codes were visible so that they were easy to scan on the cart from the self checkout. Just as I was starting to self-checkout, the manager came up to me, saying that I could not use self-checkout; that their policy had changed and that everything had to be moved from the cart to the belt for processing by an associate. So, I waited in an associate line, loaded everything on my cart onto the belt and got bullied by the cashier asking me why I didn't leave the bags on the cart. I could have been done in 4 min at self-checkout vs. 25 min to check-out of the store. Been a business customer of Sam's Club since 1993, and this is the first time I have ever had any trouble that could not be resolved by the manager, who created the problem. read more

It's a bulk store. It does what it's supposed to do. Sells bulk things. I'm always excited to go but always disappointed when I get there and realize I don't need a gallon of ketchup or 200 plastic forks. But their prices are wonderful for the things I do buy, like toilet paper, napkins, Ziploc bags, etc. The staff is friendly enough and helpful so I have no complaints on service. There's also a hot food thing that sells delicious pizza for under two bucks a slice. The pizza is actually pretty good too. I always get some or a Nathan's hot dog. All in all my shopping experience there is exactly what I want from a bulk store. If not a little above and beyond my expectations. read more

Found it to be much too crowded and the prices seemed to be higher than what I found at the one in West Allis that was closed up. Check out was efficient but noticed that when you are leaving the people checking the baskets were not as careful as I am used to. Mine was baqged up and the girl never even looked inside to see if any of the things on my list were there. I know it busy but still you need to check. I won't shop as often because it is too crowded and the store is laid out in a confusing manor. Not as clean as West Allis was either. read more

The customer service at Sams club in Franklin is absolutely horrible. The "pick up" option is the most inconvenient service they have. We arrived at location at 2, under the impression since my order was already paid for, it would be brought out and loaded. We waited for twenty mins and then called, representative was extremely rude and stated I needed to go in and check in (which I had already done via phone). I proceeded to get my kids off in the rain. She stated that someone would bring my order to the exit door and load it up. To park at the exit door. I went back to parking lot, loaded my kids up and drove back to the exit door. I waited for 30 mins and no one came out. Now I'm upset, it's raining and I have sick kids crying to go home. I call the store and ask what is the problem. I was just in there and they were suppose to bring my order out. I placed the order yesterday and paid for it. I arrived at 2pm it is now 3pm and still don't have my order. She said it's at the exit door. I explained I'm at the exit door ... she then rudely says inside lady we don't deliver, come get your stuff. I furious go to door with my kids and in the rain. Grab my groceries and go load it. I could have gone in shopped and left store within 20 mins. I chose to do pick up for convenience. Never will I go back or use that service. read more

Very disappointed. This is worst Sams club location. Managers are obnoxious and incompetent. They do not know anything. I see so many managers and staff treat members like dirt. I have written complaints to Sams club corporate but no use. In particular the managers Colton and Mike are really obnoxious and rude. The poor staff members get fired so often by these corrupt managers. They cannot do basic things right. If you are a business member like me then find another location or go with Costco. Outstanding people, thoughtful optometrist who discussed my test results with me to a level of detail that I've not experienced before in all my trips to so-called "elite" standalone optometrist offices. Let's see WHERE to begin..? We shop at Sam's quite frequently and over the past year so have watched this specific Sam's Club DECLINE, not wait FALL off the cliff. Store associates with attitude issues, when I asked a question about a product normally in stock the young woman (sorry no name) said and I quote "Do you see it out here"... ok I guess she was having a moment or bad day. Get all our shopping done, head for check out and noticed cashier running items through waaaay to quick and not hearing the "beep", she RANG them again... When mentioned she copped an attitude about "I voided it you can see it on receipt", and upon checking receipt SHE WAS WRONG... and did void one product but ADDED additional charges to others... To the cost of $54 more than I should have been charged. Had to go to customer / member service cause said cashier said " sale is in and I cant do anything", to which I said "DO YOUR JOB RIGHT" and headed for services. They fixed error and seemed to be compassionate but who knows. In all 4 mistakes were made... 1 rude associate on floor, 1 rude as hell cashier, 1 over charging customers by cashiers NOT paying attention, and FINALLY us going there in first place. It's sad to watch the steady decline of once a good store.. Seriously considering going to competitor ... A recent option considering the decline here. I'm NOT one to b**** and I know everyone has an off or bad day but the service, and selection (and i know we're in a pandemic and all) is almost barely tolerable... read more

And a lady that were helping at check out. I waited for an HOUR AND A HALF to get to my turn at checkout once I finally got there and tried to pay their chip reader was not working and I had noticed people before me were having trouble with it as well but since I had already waited for an hour and a half I gave it go. Once I noticed it wasn't working I called the lady at checkout to help. She told me I had to go wait at another line ALL OVER AGAIN! I told her I wasn't going to wait for another hour and a half at another line because I had already waited my turn and it was THEIR CHIP READER not working. She was very RUDE and called a Hispanic guy named Jose to translate even though I PERFECTLY understood and answered what she said he basically told me the SAME thing I had to move and wait he was EXTREMELY RUDE.
