They are discriminating at this location. We have had memberships for many years constantly even when we made our move from Kentucky. We checked out today at 4/01/2026 at 10:43 and we were being watch poorly. By Muslims. We never have had any other takes associate do this to us, we ALWAYS pay for everything in our carts and never been flagged before. Sam's Club installed that tower as you walk out the door. Several other people that were not white were let through but they stopped my grandmother. The Muslim lady working the door was not only hateful but she picked out of everyone's with way fuller carts us. Discrimination? I think so. She scanned about 5 of our items when we only had a small total and like I said again she let many others that were not white women through with significantly more items that there's no way the scanner tower could've caught everything. Seriously consoling canceling my membership, and everyone else's including our business memberships. This store is becoming a wack show. Employees shouldn't target one person or should be scanning everyone else's the same. Even if they're the same ethnicity of the personal at the door not the ethnicity that is different. ALSO you cannot get ahold of a manger at the store which is incredibly hilarious. So memberships will be canceled. Unfortunately we have better luck a Costco with friendliness and Not being discriminated against. read more

Let's be honest, I hate that I'm at the point in my life that I'm buying in bulk like a hoarder... But the price is right and I've got 2 growing boys at home that make enough of a mess that hoarding snacks and paper towels is the most economical thing I can do. If you have any amount of anxiety, prepare yourself before coming in. It's crazy, and there is SO MUCH to look at. Have a plan. Use the Scan and Go option so you're not standing around with all your stuff -- yeah, it feels like you're stealing at the end, but you've got proof you paid! It's always been fully stocked and as clean as it can be for the amount of stuff there - overall a good experience. Pickup here has always been a good experience, though sometimes a bit slow when you get here. That's not necessarily a slight, just a heads up -- when it says they'll be out in 5, 10, or even 15 minutes they're not joking. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time for pickup--you'll be frustrated if you're in a hurry. read more

I like shopping at Sam's Club. The savings and the product variety is amazing. But there are some large issues that can't be overlooked. I'm a frequent user of their grocery pickup service but on every order I've placed in the past two to three months they are shipping items that they have an over abundance of in store. Not only that but their pickers also mark quite a few items as unavailable/OOS. It's not an inconvenience by any means to go into the store and oftentimes when I have prescriptions to pick up or need to get fresh produce it always makes me wonder it's done this way. We recently moved back to Indiana and this was my first visit to the local Sams store. My wife described this store as "beautiful". I would not quite put it that way. But compared to the Sam's in Tucson where we moved from, this store has wider aisles, and easier access to merchandise and groceries. My grandkids like to go to Sams for the samples which are offered during the day, mostly on weekends I think. I really like that I can scan the barcodes of the items as we place them in the cart and not have to go through the line when we are finished shopping. Time will tell how well they keep the products we used stocked so I will be updating after a couple months. So far we are happy with our new Sams store. read more

Covid has done a number on the availablity of a few items. I have had a hard time getting toilet paper over here on numerous occasions. Perhaps I'm picking the day after their truck delivery or am just arriving too late in the day as my schedule dictates. That's my only gripe. We found everything we were looking for. The cashier was very friendly even helped me put my stuff on the counter. It was the quickest checkout ive ever experience in a sams club. First time at Sam's Club since I was a kid and I was super impressed. The store was super clean and organize. I usually shop at Costco and I can say I truly like Sam's a lot better. My only complaint was the snack bar had no mustard, ketchup, napkins, the tables were all dirty and most drinks and slushies were out. Seemed pretty odd to me so maybe just a shipment and staff shortage issue. Luckily I had baby wipes in my purse and shared them it's the couple dining next to us. The Halloween and Christmas displays were pretty and I love the fact it doesn't seem so cluttered and anxiety inducing as Costco. I will definitely be switching to Sam's. read more

DO NOT BUY A PHONE FROM SAMS CLUB IN GREENWOOD! It started with us waiting 30 min for technology associate to go to lunch. We decided to shop around and wait. I should've known from how it all began it was a bad idea. During this purchase I informed him I wanted to keep my same number. He stated that wasn't going to be possible since I was on a prepaid plan previously. Which made no sense because I've traveled with the same number for 15 years to sprint, verizon, and at&t. So for him to say he can't transfer my at&t prepaid number to the new at&t phone was bizarre. Not to mention he's watching a LOUD live video cohort I'm assuming for school on his phone. Long story short, he locked me out of my iCloud account. Refused to transfer my number, to gain extra commission on a new line. And upon returning, untrained staff made the return 10x more difficult and longer. I expect the service that is provided by sams club employees be in the best interest of the customer and not the gain of the employee. I'm so happy I decided to go to AT&T for my new phone with no issues and it only took 20 min. Never again will I buy any sort of technology or recommend that department to anyone. read more

My favorite wholesale club. Convenient with access to I65, and accessible by most major Greenwood roads. You are greeted and treated like you matter from the minute you enter the door. I love that someone isn't standing there waiting with a sales pitch while I'm in the store. There are 2 memberships : business or personal. You can choose a basic membership or upgrade to a plus member and receive 2% cash back at the end of the year on all your purchases. I can never come out with just what I planned as the sales are that great. Now they could use help with stocking as occassionally a few of my faves are not stocked. With the flu and everything else on the rise, less handling of my food is better. There scan and go app, rocks!!!!! I can scan items on my phone as I put them in my cart, except alcohol. Once finished press checkout, and the payment is processed right through the payment type saved on your phone. #winning If you are not satisfied for "any" reason you can receive a 100% of your membership fees back. read more

I've always visited this location because of how neat and organized it is and it seems to be less hectic at the times that I visit. Which is either early in the morning or right before closing. However they always have good deals on bulk items. I don't shop here for stuff that I don't need in bulk because I can find a better deal elsewhere. Never again! We have had a membership through Sam's Club for years but it's gone downhill in the last year and we are done! We went in today for 5 things and we weren't able to get 3 of those items. That's fine normally but.... a Sam's employee ran into my husband, people were rude and getting into other people's space, the employees were in the way in the aisles while putting bottled water away, and the checkout process was ridiculous! We went to the self checkout because the two normal checkout lanes were 4-5 people long. At the self checkout though, we wanted to split our check to two cards. Well, there's no capabilities for that at the self checkout so we suspended the sale to go checkout at the normal lane. When we got in the lane there for 2 people ahead of us. I went to change my daughter in the restroom and after coming back to the lane 5 minutes later, my husband had not moved one inch. There were two employees on this lane, too. Apparently while in the restroom, my husband said the manager picked two people behind him to checkout in a closed lane with her (and they had the same amount of items!) Finally we decided to just checkout in the self checkout and figure out the finances later. The manager took us to the lane and tried to scan our suspended order receipt but it didn't work so we had to ReScan! Ugh. When we got out of the line to get out of the store was crazy long because the guy at the door was checking all the receipts. At this point the manager just told him to let everyone out without looking at the receipts. We forgot ours, of course, because of the frustration we felt, and he just let us through anyway saying, "you don't need one apparently... I don't know, I just work here." Wow! Just.... wow. We are now researching the Costco memberships. read more

Disappointed. Last two times I've made the trip down, their shelves have been empty. Very similar to how it was before they closed other stores. I can only assume this one is on the chopping block. Good place to shop in bulk for sure. Be careful though. Don't just assume that you're getting a better price than buying the same amount at a normal grocery store. Most of their prices are great, some okay, and others can be deceivingly more expensive than normal stores. You do need a card to shop here, and you pay a yearly fee for it. read more

If you are a parent and you need to buy diapers... DO IT HERE! THEY ARE SO MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE AND COME IN BIGGER BOXES! Not too mention sometimes they have designer clothes, purses, sunglasses dirt cheap. The food section is great too. I love to buy the giant packages of chicken breasts for $12 or so and portion it up for two in the freezer. All there food is bigger and cheaper here.. for the same brand you can buy at the grocery. Been a customer for ten years and I never had a thing to complain until now. Bout 60 boxes of flooring online but only needed 48 boxes. Online site did not give an option to purchase single boxes so had to buy 60. Needless to say Sam's Club will not give me a refund for the extra boxes unless I return all 60. Been a member at Sams Club since 1992. I go there weekly for Business and home purchases. Sometimes I'm there a couple times a week. I went in tonite only to come out and find a 6-8 scratch that even another customer came over to take a peek at. He said you need to report it to the Manager. It was obvious that a shopping cart had caused the damage. As I was in the first spot by the row of carts. So I go back in and request to speak to a Manager. What a waste of time. This Manager could have given the least care about the damage to my vehicle and how it could have happened. Not sure if I'll ever go back. Plan on taking my business to Costco. read more

Went to the optical dept for a couple pair of glasses, this is the second and last time dealing with this location due to a very rude, untrained, manager whom was put off that she might be bothered by customers to look and buy glasses, I will not return and suggest if you want customer service, as in someone helpful...don't go here. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I went into the club in March to purchase a new cell phone and I was told that I would receive a $150 gift card 14-22 days after my purchase. It has been a month an a half and I still have not received it. I have call the Sam's Club in greenwood 3 times and I have contacted corporate several times. After waiting for a response for a week from the corporate office I was told that I would not receive a gift card unless I go into the club. Today, I decided to call the club again to assure there was someone at the cell phone booth that could help me, but there was no one there. After a month and a half the issue has not been resolved and it has been mishandled the entire time. The corporate office is not communicating with the club and the club claims they don't know anything about the cell phone booth in the store. I've been getting the run around for several weeks and it's starting to get ridiculous! read more

This is basically a nice store overall. It's clean and well kept, and as organized as it can possibly be. It's close to where I live, and very easy to drive to. There is generally a good variety of choices to pick from in most of the isles. The clothes/apparel section is fairly massive. Sometimes certain items/brands that I prefer to buy disappear, but I usually find something comparable. There are always the standard brands they carry that you can count on them continuing to carry as well. It's always a nice feature that they consistently offer samples of food products on any given day. The customer service desk is adequate. Sometimes we end up with a gruff acting check out person, but I usually brush it off considering the overstimulating, carnival-esque and chaotic atmosphere. Because,.... seriously, by the time I see the total of my bill, I just want to get out of there - quickly! Hehe. It seems I can't get out of Sam's Club without spending a minimum of $200.00. The deals of products are great. Ill defintely remember these names to avoid them. But the cashier I dealt with was not customer service oriented. She had a customer in front me she was dealing with and took at least a good 5 mins of them about limit of buying a product etc... So when she checked me out she didn't say sorry about the wait. Then the check out reciept guy is not friendly either. He said hi to the lady in front of me, but when he checked my reciept he just threw the ad catalog n that's it. I have been going to this store for quite a few years now and I believe it is one of the better run Sam's Clubs. This location is kept clean and very well stocked. I have noticed in the past couple of years the employees seem more polite and helpful. I am attributing this to management and the pressure of competition (namely Costco's influence). After joining Costco years back, I thought I might let this membership die but as it turns out, I like many of their items too much. After spending much time at both stores and analyzing product lines etc. It turns out I like both stores for different products. Without getting too detailed into my personal preferences, for example, I do prefer many items in the meat department at Sam's versus Costco. Namely, the Prime cuts. I have tried many different Prime Beef products at both stores and while Costco does have some good cuts, overall I see more consistency in the Prime Beef cuts at Sam's. So I still maintain both memberships and while they are many items I don't buy due to being a household of 2 people, there is enough that I do buy to substantiate both memberships. Due to the location, I go to this Sam's Club store the most and am the most familiar with it's layout. So, in conclusion, I do recommend this store and specifically this location. If you are not a member and want to check it out, they have a provision where you can get a guest pass for the day. Also, I believe memberships are refundable (pro-ratably) if you are not happy within the year. So you really don't have anything to lose. The staff is great and goes above and beyond. They are definitely understaffed and running around endlessly on the front end. You have to go early 6-10am or the lines are too long. Not very different to Costco honestly. It's too bad when corporate runs things so thin. read more

Buy gift cards at Walmart with your rewards Visa and use them at Sam's club. This is a work around for using a rewards visa at Sams Club. Nice clean spacious store with good values. You do have to be smart not everything is a deal so it's like everywhere else, know what you are looking for and how much it usually costs you. Meat area has good selection, quality, and value. They do offer a upgraded membership and I tried it because I got it for 10 bucks but in the end I didn't renew it as I didn't save any money. read more
