Will is rude as can be. I called to get tire Sizes for a set of rims I bought that did not have tires. I tried explaining this to him but all he wanted to say very rudely and loudly for no reason "I need the tire size". I did not know the tire size but I did know that one rim was one size and the other was another I didn't know the first and second number, and was treated with disrespect. I was going to get tires from here but after one phone call, never in my life would stop in here! Rude, hateful, and treated me like a child! Will shouldn't be working phone if this is how customers requesting to get a tire size for rims that didn't come with tires! Took my car there this morning (Michigan Rd. location) to get a leaky tire (bead problem) fixed and have tires rotated. I had locking lug nuts and had the key. They lost the key, called me an hour later and said they could not find it. I had the key! They just did not want to do the work! No offers to do the job regardless of key being missing, no suggestions, nothing! Will not be back and will never recommend them to anyone! Will at Tirebarn is extremely rude and hung up on me. I was trying to purchase a tire for someone else and he treated me like an idiot because I didn't know the exact model of theor car. The person I was going to buy the tire for was next to me and I asked the model of their vehicle and then was hung up on. I will not be purchasing the tire from tire barn. read more

It bears repeating that even though it's been a few years since I bought tires here, I can pull up any time and they'll check tire pressure for bo charge. I happened to go when it was raining (but not busy) and they even helped w when it meant exposure to rain. So happy with that extra level service! read more

Probably will never buy from them again. Not worth the money for this kind of treatment. My go to shop for wheel & tire work for quite a few years! Routine wheel rotations and balancing usually get done quick, around half an hour. Alignments take about the same amount of time it seems, and it's neat that diagram prints showing before & after adjustments are given once the work is done. The guys here are also great at giving a heads-up when tires or other suspension parts need replacement. Not much to complain about here. Although I do wish Goodyear tires were readily available. The last couple times I've needed new tires, I wanted Goodyear all season sport, which had to get warehouse ordered. Since it's a personal preference, it's no reason to dock the review score. Other good brands are readily available, Cooper and Hankook if I'm not mistaken. It's also worth noting that only one or two workers are able to do alignment work, as it is specialty maintenance, and only at certain times & days of the week. Just a shout out to the guys at Tire Barn, just south of Stop 11 and U.S. 31! We were going to our daughter's graduation and had an extremely low tire(picked up a nail)! We pulled in about 40 minutes before closing! We told them our situation and they pulled it in immediately! Less than 15 minutes passed, and they had repaired the damaged tire, and had us on the road again!! Thanks to all that were working on April 9, near closing! You were life savers! No matter the reason for my visit, new tires, a tire loss of pressure indication or to have tires/rims swapped out this is my go-to place for anything tire related to my car. They have plugged tire damage for free and I've even negotiated the best price for some new tires. They work efficiently and they do good work. I would much rather roll into to tire barn warehouse then make an appointment with my dealer and have to sit in a dealership waiting for them to fix my tires. read more

Made an appointment for the next day at their Michigan road location. I was 15 minutes late. They were going to look at my rear brakes. I told the manager I had brake noise but I thought it was due to the parking brake shoes having disintegrated. My friend had removed the crystallized parts and once since then some of the detritus had gotten back in side the drum for the parking brake. I wanted to know if there was other damage and I would have asked for an estimate for replacing the removed parking brake parts, but when I asked about them placing some tires that are mounted on wheels back on he asked if they were new tires. I said no. He then stated that he remembered my call yesterday and that I had the parking brake disabled. He stated that their corporate policy was that they could not put old tires back on a vehicle and he dismissed my original appointment to inspect my brakes. I would have been willing to pay for my summer wheel/tire combination to be remounted, and would have welcomed an estimate to make my parking brakes whole again, but he had evidently written me off. read more

Finally agreed on a price out the door. Paid in full so all I had to do is show up and get them installed when they arrived. Then the next day I got a call saying they can't honor that price. GoodYear and tire couldn't help me and referred me to this place and Michael was nothing but helpful with what I needed. It's touch traveling and having to rely on my vehicle to make money and although the tire I had was quite expensive and quite hard to get, Michael went out of his way to make sure that they got the right tire and get me on my way within 24 hours. I know, you're probably scratching your head and trying to figure out why I would expect that from a tire establishment but guys, it exists... if you're ever in the Muncie area stop in their tire barn and see for yourself! I came in for a plug as I blew out my tire yesterday with something metal. Thankfully they were able to patch it for me but it took 40 mins and it didn't appear busy. They also never touched base with me to let me know they could just patch it until the end when they called me up and told me I owed $20. Will, the assistant manager, has always been very helpful with helping me select my tires. The first time I came in he helped me figure out which size tires I needed. Afterwards he guided me towards the premium tire package. this package included free tire balancing, repairs, & rotating. I just used all 3 of these today and it has definitely saved me a good amount of money especially due to a mail being stuck in my tire. I will be buying my tires from here from now on! read more

I went in over an hour before they closed and the guy was loud and rude. he said he couldn't help me. wouldn't even listen to what the problem was. the guy that was working in the shop that filled up my tire said they could help, then I informed him that the guy at the desk said they couldn't help. it ended up being a5 minute repair. I'm a single working mom and rely heavily on my car. would have been nice to have some help. I will not recommend this place or ever go back. read more

OMG. I had a nail in my wheel so decided I would go to a different place the following morning to get it patched up. I woke up at 5, hauled my butt there only to be told they can't do it but they can sell me a new wheel. That was the last thing I wanted to do, so I sucked it up and went to work. Fortunately, I found Tire Barn! Unfortunately, I came right as they were closing, but, thankfully, the manager said they can do it even though someone else told me they couldn't. Thank you, so much, for taking me in and patching up my wheel because I wasn't able to the next day! You guys are fast and accommodating -- and an utter delight to talk to! Horrible customer service! Staff was rude and dismissive. My son bought a tire 30 days ago and drove 600 miles on it. He is disabled and on a fixed income and elected to decline warranty coverage. He really didn't know what he was doing by declining it but that is not my point. The tire blew on the wall of the tire. To me this would be considered a defect. We were told we had to pay for a new tire because it had been driven for over 100 miles. What?!? So, the tire that cost us $150 should only last 30 days. We had to pay $175 for the replacement. My son lives across the street and had no other choice or we would've taken it somewhere else. Last time we will ever go to this location. The guys there were rude and dismissive. They also wouldn't let us pay with a cc over the phone. They said it was against policy. Hmmm...weird, we called another location and they would be happy to do that for us. I hope the manager is reading this review. These guys need to learn customer service skills. Shame on you! You basically stole from my son on disability and took advantage. This place was very efficient with getting my husband in for a tire change and gave us a contact for someone to help fix another problem with the tire that they couldn't. Purchased warranty and went back said it was "voided" when my other tire had went flat for same exact thing then they said they woul "hook me up" but I would have to come out of pocket. Which was the whole point of paying extra on the tire warranty in the 1st place. Staff was inconstant in responses and very sarcastic. Take you business elsewhere if you can. Avoid at all cost. This Store has gone down hill quickly! I have purchased 4 sets of tires from this location. This last time, I could never get a straight answer, was misled about promotions, and had items slipped onto my bill. The website estimate on these tires, for my car, was several hundred dollars cheaper than what the salesman was giving me. I found it difficult to believe the sales staff was COMPLETELY unaware of the prominent promotion on their website (buy 3 Goodyear get one free) then after being shown their promotion, they indicated that it was required to "purchase lifetime install, balance, and road hazard." It is a shame, I had a long happy history with this store, but after these last three contacts, I am looking for a new tire shop that is honest. I do not mind paying for quality and good service, but I am not going to spend money with a dishonest misleading group. I had reached out to corporate to share this opinion, with some more specific details and did not receive a response. In short, don't waste your time, find an honest shop to deal with. read more

CHECK Your RECEIPT before you pay!!!! I went online filled out everything I wanted (2 tires and alignment) and set up an appointment for the next day. Arrived a few minutes early to drop off my car and the service tech tried to sell me 4 tires. I told him I only needed the front and the rears were like new (which is why I needed the alignment) and he continued to try and convince me to get a set of 4 tires. When I said no again he actually got rude and let me know he was trying to do me a favor! Time came to pick up the car and my bill went from $250 + tax to about $325. I asked why and he started explaining the charges... First... the "Lifetime Installation charge"... I showed him my receipt from the night before which stated "Standard Installation". He then tried to convince me that it was worth the extra money and I said no! Next... The "road hazard warranty"... I again showed him the receipt on which I declined it. Once again he tried his best to convince me that I needed that warranty and once again I said NO! After removing the thing I hadn't asked for the bill came to $268. He was visibly torqued so I just paid and left without a thank you, come back or anything. After getting home and looking at my receipt I found that they got me anyway because I didn't check close enough. I was charged for 2 TPMS stem caps and 2 TPMS replacement cores on a car that doesn't even have TPMS. Again.... CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!!! read more

Unprofessional service & destroy my tire system. Upon purchasing two tires they did not properly align my tires or my donut back to the proper location. I had to drive back to have them properly store the donuts BUT they actually stripped my entire tire system use power tools when the system specifically says not to use power tools. Upon admitting to fault the assistant manager was very rude and unprofessional. They refused to let me speak with the store manager. They agreed to pay for the damages, but now I need to take additional time out of the life to get this fixed. I would NOT recommend this location to a friend or enemy. read more

I stopped in the Tire Barn in Greenwood with a fast leaking tire. When I asked for assistance from the manager, he refused to help me because I didn't have an appointment. I told him I was from out of town, and yet he showed no concern or sympathy for myself or my daughter. You cannot plan for a flat tire. It had just happened as we were driving into Greenwood. The manager did not off to put air in my tire. He did not offer to call another tire place. He did not offer to help put on my spare tire. He told me that I would have to leave my car overnight. He was not friendly, helpful, or apologetic. Do not stop here if you want quality customer service or help. read more

I have been using Tire Barn for the past fifteen years but no more after my last experience. My visit started off on a bad start when I arrived for my appointment at 8:30 am. I wasn't in the Washington Street Indianapolis store computer although I had an emailed confirmed appointment and an emailed appointment reminder from Tire Barn. Each email showed the two tires I had selected to buy. The store had no record of my appointment and only had one of the tires I wanted. The manager didn't show much interest in the problem but suggested I could come back in a couple of days or buy two other tires for $10 more each. I didn't want to come back on Labor Day Monday. I said fine in annoyed voice but asked for the same price or a discount on the alternate tires. He stated maybe. Later when I received the invoice, I saw charges for TPMS cores ($4.95 each) and TPMS ($1.50 each) valve caps. I asked about this charge especially since the car doesn't even have TPMS. The manager and tech both stated "oh, it's just worded that way". I asked again about a discount on the unwanted tires. The manager stated he took care of it. Later, when I reviewed the invoice, I saw he knocked a whole dollar off each tire for a total of $2.00! What a guy! But what really streamed me is paying $20 standard installation per tire which includes STANDARD rubber tire valves and balancing. So why was I charged for TPMS cores and caps? I went back to the store thinking the invoice was in mistake. No the manager stated the standard rubber valves DON'T include cores or caps!!!! I've never heard of valves not having cores or caps. The tires won't hold air without cores! What a rip-off! Makes no sense! The manager stated they have three bags in the shop - one with rubber valves, one with cores and one with caps which must be assembled. Apparently only the valve is included in the standard install. You have to pay for a core or the tire won't hold air. I just stared at the manager in disbelief. Dumbest thing ever. After arguing with the manager for twenty mins. he finally emailed corporate to request a refund for the cores and caps. For this reason, I will not return to Tire Barn again which is a shame because I have always liked them before. read more

Had some balancing issues , with my jeep also wanted to get an alignment, scheduled an appointment online with my iPad for the very next day , they called the morning of said they could get me in on the time I requested, very pleased with that , then they did and excellent job now my jeep is riding like it is supposed too.
