I have placed pick up orders for 7p-8p and never got the message they were ready until the next day twice. The third time I had to call up there to make sure I will be getting the order that day so they won't do it to me again and it took 30 minutes to get someone on the phone. Twice they have forgotten something. Once it was my flowers the second time was zip lock bags. I'm sick of the terrible customer service. You can't get nobody on the phone to solve the issue. Every time I call someone either hangs up on me. Or answers the phone and puts it on mute and has me waiting there and eventually hangs up. So you're forced to go up there. Really good Sam's Club. Large store with a good selection of electronics, jewelry, office supplies, food, gifts, paper products, cleaning products, household products, candy, books, and DvDs. They also have clothes, a few toys, and a small wine section. The employees are not very helpful, although the ones who pass out food samples and those who work the registers are really nice. Don't even think you'll stay five minutes after closing to finish your shopping. They have the strictest, and rudest, security of any store. I'd give them five stars if it weren't for Sam's security. Maybe these guys are used to talking to prisoners in that fashion, but paying customers don't appreciate it. Overall shopping at Sam's is a pleasant experience, and I will continue going there. That said, when it gets near closing time, I'll get the h*ll out as fast as I can! read more

I strongly dislike this location. The home services people are extremely pushy, even after you tell them you don't are want their services multiple times. I gave them my information as a courtesy so they could send me more details and they proceeded to schedule an appointment at my home and were very pushy when I told them I didn't know my schedule. Avoid them at all costs. The membership services employee I visited with was not friendly as well. The printer was down so I had to get a paper card which means I have to go back to them next time. Oh, and the club pickup kiosk was extremely slow. Took me 5 minutes just to key in my last name. When I finally got my items I then had to wait on someone to bring me a receipt. If I can't order my items for home delivery I'm just going to have to order elsewhere or visit another location. read more

And a little different from Costco but this Sam's club had a heard service center probably specializing on hearing and ear sensory related stuff. We went here for gas and food since my brother in law has a Sam's club membership. We ended up grabbing some hotdogs for the kids and some cheesy bread. The hotdogs are nate's or nathans kosher dogs. Similar to costco they are boiled and just as delicious. Same concept, love getting dogs for quick easy meal. The combo deal is hard to beat! read more

It came through the email but the salesperson Arissa said go to customer service to redeem it. After standing in a very long line, Customer Service says redeem at register. Well, it wouldn't work, we didn't know why. Finally, we read on there redeem only online. A lot of time could be saved if salesmen know the right info to the customer. When I call just to ask a minor question the phone rings and rings and rings, then if they answer they put you on hold forever and there have been times when a person is disconnected. Nice clean Sam's club, it looks to be a little smaller than some of the other ones I have been too. But it still had everything I needed. Great place to purchase items in bulk. I have gotten some really good deals on frozen items. I like how the price tag shows the cost per oz or unit. Makes it easy to determine if you are getting a better deal than you would at the local grocery store. Of course lots of other good deals to be found though out the store. The one thing that isn't a good deal is the wine. Let me tell you, they are proud of their wine. You can get a better deal at HEB or Specs. The snack area has cheap pizza by the slice, not bad. I really like the soft pretzel, I think its even better than the ones at the mall. The hot dog and drink deal will run you about a $1.50. Talk about cheap eats. If you go on the weekend expect it to be crazy crowded. I went on a Saturday and had to park in the South 40 and hike in. We ordered our wedding cakes from Sam's. We didn't want to spend a ton of money on cake that people wou do eat and then it's gone forever. Normal specialty bakeries charge upwards of $600 or so for wedding cakes! We ordered 1 three tier cake and 2 two tier cakes for 160 people and it only cost us $200 dollars. THATS A LOT OF CAKE! Location to get in and around is complicated making it a difficult get in an out. Something they so desperately need to improve. In other instances, it's great customer service thus far, except when we asked a manager or possibly someone who is up higher in the ranking. I asked "Oh Hi! Do you know where the cheese was, and to be more specific velveeta cheese?", 'twas his reply "Are you asking me where it is?" as if we were not directing a question at him. Total rudeness and snobbish if you ask me. I was confused by his response, that I started to walk away and then he said "uhmmmm, I believe it's on isle 8." WOW. I could tell he worked there and not just someone who "looked" like they worked there because he was wearing a Sam's Club ID and I've seen him in past visits. Anyways, that's the only bump in my visits, and maybe this person needs more lessons on Customer Service (I.e. Manners, Politeness, and more). Through and through Sam's offers great products and have noticed on occasion they stock different things weekly. Which is okay in my book, because I love trying out new items/products. The self checkouts are neat, but I don't think they are any faster than going through a regular line, unless you only have one item. Not much to report. read more

Waited in line for 15 minuets on a Thursday at 5pm because the business is under staffed. Then waited anther 10 minuets to check my receipt because they only have one guy checking receipts. The line to leave was from one end of the store to the other. This is a clear lack of leadership and zero management. They have no respect for their customers both business or private. This would never happen at Costco. I am canceling my membership and upgrading my Costco membership. read more

Not fancy nor fussy, I find this store has everything and at a great price. I particularly like their frozen foods sections for the ice cream puffs, frozen foods and yoghurts. They also have HUGE ready to serve food that always look enticing. And the wine selection is worth mentioning as well. The only thing I don't like sometimes is the uneven inventory, it has occurred a few times where something I like will be temporarily discontinued and then a few months later, it'll be back. Lately they've been trying to keep up with higher end demographic so there are more organic items which are always great! read more

I think it is safe to say if you've been to one Sam's, you've been to them all. I usually go in expecting to only buy the things on my shopping liste, then I end up with an entire cart full of groceries to the point where I look like I am creating a stockpile preparing for the end of the world. Oh well, that's what they're here for I guess. The worst part of this place has got to be the parking lot. Other locations aren't as bad, but this one is terrible.
