Great store, bad experience with the bakery I had my daughters birthday cake preorder for two weeks and 2 hours before my scheduled pickup time I get a call saying they were unable to make the cake because the edible printing machine was down. The lady on the phone was very nonchalant and careless. Good luck getting anything from the cafe they are way too busy constantly and understaffed all the workers seem overwhelmed. I rarely visit this location but was meet by a moving robot in the aisle which I photographed and video taped. It drove itself going from aisle to aisle. It would stop when people where to close to it and then go again. This one is closer to home but getting in and out of the parking lot is challenging and it is on the smaller size. With them investing more in this store I will come again if just to spy on the robot. The crowds are smaller here so checking out is easier. Of course took advantage of the cheap water vending machine for a quarter only by the food court. read more

Sam's club is a bulk store franchise with a couple of locations spread throughout louisville. This Walmart owned company is a long time staple of the okolona community off Preston Highway In Lousiville Kentucky. Called sam's club named after Sam Walmart and club because you have to be a paid member to shop at this bulk store which also offers normal department store products. I can Vividly remember coming here as a child with my eyes lit up on Saturday mornings as I hit up all the free sample food booths. This is something they still do on weekends. So it's a cool tradition. Sams is a very large and spacious store and it's always fun to shop in bulk. They also have a really cheap and tasty cafe area that serves food, drinks and frozen yogurt Ice cream. Overall sam club is a nice place to shop and an experience for kids and adults a like. read more

Sam's club is only mildly good. We come across membership each year for a very reasonable price, otherwise we would absolutely drop our membership. Prices are rarely better than Costco, but some of things we buy ARE cheaper at Sam's. Sam's does carry way more toys around the Christmas season which is nice. Things that some people won't care about: I HATE that every time I'm in this place I hear fork lifts beeping the entire time. It's annoying. The sound system for the overhead music has zero bass so it sounds like a cheap stereo playing at a flea market, cheapening the shopping experience. Worst of yet is the tire and battery section. Seriously does anyone attend this area? I was told to go knock on the door to the repair area to see if anyone would come. Then when I asked for someone to be paged I was told "they usually don't respond but I'll try". I don't work here people, I want you to find someone who does. I shouldn't have to try multiple times to track someone down. read more

Absurd! I went to the bakery at Sam's to order a sheet cake for our church's Anniversary. I was told there that I had to order online. OK, so I go online to order, get the cake I want described and go to the day I want to pick it up and you can't pick up the cake on Saturday! Sam's club is your typical bulk warehouse store. I can get groceries, over the counter medicines and gas for cheap. You all know this. I have to share the game changer if their app to this review. I have paired my Sam's club card with my credit card.anytime I am in the vicinity of a Sam's club I can use my app to pay for my items and my gas. It's great and so advanced. It's really great. On my last visit, it got eve better. They had folks making fresh sushi at this Sam's club. I had to buy some to try it. It was excellent sushi. Go figure. I had an appointment for a tire rotation and balance and after 2 hours of waiting I was told I needed to wait another 30 minutes. The excuse was a "pole" was broken. I assume a lift. Either way there are 3 other lifts in the shop. Upon asking why I was not informed "Flor" said it had been broken when I made the appointment days earlier and they hoped it would be fixed. This entire excuse should have been communicated on the day of the appointment and also when I checked in, NOT two hours later...This is a completely bogus excuse. There were only two workers in the shop. They got behind and blamed it on a broken "pole." It is one thing to get behind and it's a complete mistrust and poor excuse to your customers to lie about it. Upon asking for a refund I was told it would be no charge than told the charge is after the job is finished. I will not be back to this store for service again. I walked into the store in Clarksville for the same job and job was preformed and finished within 30 minutes in the past. Shame on you Sam's club! read more

Generally, I like going to Sam's Club but I do not go often because I just do not need to buy much stuff in bulk. Seemingly any time I go there, I don't leave without spending between $200-$300. Once I get home to unload my groceries, it never seems like the things that I have should have cost THAT much money. I take off one star because items at Sam's Club generally cost more than the same (or similar) items at Costco. I take off another star because of the horribly - designed parking lot AND because there is only one way into and out of it. There should be entrance and egress on Fern Valley also. Yikes. I joined online and totally regret it now. I placed an order for pickup. Checked in online and waited in the car for 20 minutes. Called and was on hold for 7 minutes. Gave up and came into the store. Only 2 people working the membership/pickup desk. A cerk radioed for my order. 25 minutes later, another employee (Keenan) left the desk with a line waiting and got it for me since I had been standing there so long. Thank God for her - she was the only redeeming factor in my experience. So, in total it took almost an hour to pick up an online order that was already paid for because there was one thing of bread in the cooler and they were so understaffed no one was doing pickup - why would you not block off the parking or have a sign to come inside. We ordered a TV and a month later still not here! One the original day we never received a phone call to set up delivery, never received the package, after calling him multiple times and got a hold of the manager they resent a replacement saying they never provided AIT our order. A week later still no delivery after six phone calls we finally get a manager, and we asked if we could pick up our item in the store and it be price matched. They told us no - immediately we asked for a refund and they told us that we cannot get a refund until they receive the item back that has never been shipped nor delivered. We were waiting at the customer service desk to have cards made since we are members and use the app for everything but you can't scan the app at the gas pump. We waited so long that 2 lines formed. One line came from the entrance door and one was at the exit door. The big mouth girl who came to help the other lady yelled out for everyone to create a single line and we were next to be helped but everyone was allowed to jump in front of us. So after standing there for 15 min. with my 4 older kids and holding a tired newborn I was cut from the line so I left. 3 stars because when I have my membership card ready to show upon entry, they never ask to see it; and during the times when I try to enter with my card tucked away somewhere in a pocket, they ask to see it. It's been OVER 40 minutes and no one has asked to ring out my 2 items. It would have been alot quicker if I shopped around myself instead of wasting my time here just waiting. I even asked an associate to help ring out my items but he told me he wasn't even trained to do so. I'm just aggravated that I spent nearly an hour trying to get somebody ring out my 2 items knowing I could have done something else with my time. I went in to return bad shredded cabbage . They looked it up since I didn't have receipt. They found the cabbage online on my receipt. They refused to refund because my card expired 2 weeks ago.
