terrible service. I arrived with a flat tire in need of a replacement. Rep at this store said they needed to order it from their shop and that it would be repaired close to the end of the day. This was at 1:40-1:50pm. I SAT THERE AND WAITED FOR ALMOST 4 HOURS until one of their associates calls my name and tells me their delivery service wasn't able to make it on time for pickup. WHAT WERE THEY DOING FOR 4 HOURS??? Even had the AUDACITY to ask me if I wanted to get it done the next day. Mind you, I explained to ALL of them that I wasn't from this town and was passing through and needed the repair ASAP to get back on the road. THANK GOD for Panther Tires, they are located like 18min from this place. They changed my tire within 10-15min. Insane work. Horrible place, horrible service. After Michaels kept my Lexus tire lug remover I had to go back because a tire I had bought from them had a split in it. I went there, talked to Jesse about the tire and he said I would have to replace 2 tires. I scheduled a week out. I arrived a few minutes before my 11am appointment. I was advised they didn't have the tires in the shop and I would have to wait for a courier delivery. Mind you, my appointment was set one week prior so I was pretty upset they didn't have what was needed (tires) to do the work. I had to wait 4 hours to get back on the road. This is bullshit. I dropped my car off at 2 PM for a simple flat tire that takes 15 minutes to fix. They told me it would be ready by 5:30 PM. They just called me at 6:30 PM to say my car won't be ready today, and I can't pick it up until tomorrow. Terrible service, find somewhere else! read more

I stopped in at 2:45 pm on Saturday March 15. I have been buying my tires from Tires Plus for more than 20 years. Roger was working at the front desk. I told him I had a single tire that needed a little air. It was raining outside but not storming or anything, I mean I walked into the store with no umbrella. He said in a very rude tone "I'm not sending my guys outside to drown just to put some air in a tire." I said "well I can pull into a bay," and he said that the store was too busy. I asked if I could wait and he said yes I could wait for TWO HOURS. For air in a single tire! I asked if I could leave and return in tow hours. He said "you can, but I can't guarantee we will be able to get you in." TO PUT AIR IN ONE TIRE!!!!! I left, saying "nevermind, Roger." Tires Plus has just lost the business of myself, my spouse, my parents, and all of my friends and family. This was insane, and I will never forget how rudely I was treated. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do NOT send your car here. Go somewhere else. I sent my car here simply to have two tires put on the rear. I received a call from one person saying that the idler pulley and belt broke, but it wasn't their fault (which it obviously was). Before i could get there to address this in person, I received another call from someone else saying that they cracked my front fender and there was a hole (there were in fact 2 holes). As i was headed there, i received a 3rd call saying that when they took my car off the rack, they cracked the fender, and the broken shards are what broke the pulley and belt. They sent this information to their claims adjuster based out of Nashville TN, and gave me a rental. Their claims adjuster informed me they would replace the pulley and belt, but would not replace the fender. It's clear they don't know what they're doing, they're careless with people's vehicles, and they couldn't care less about making things right. DO NOT send your car here. read more

My wife and I live in the neighborhood next to where this location is. We walk our dog around the neighborhood throughout the day. The techs drive recklessly around our neighborhood speeding through a residential area without turn signals and speeding through turns that have bad blind spots. There are not only people walking their dogs, but there are also lots of kids in this neighborhood. Not only do they risk the lives of others but they are driving dangerously with your own cars that you bring to them. read more

I visited this place to have one tire repaired. The person said it wasn't repairable so I agreed to ordering a new tire. The original tires had good tread remaining and were originally purchased here. I asked if the remaining tires had to be replaced and they said no. I decided to pull the remaining tires off the rims to have my rims reconditioned. After returning with my reconditioned rims, they then said all the tires had to be replaced and they refused to remount the ones they originally said were find to keep. They insisted I had to order three additional tires. I had to gather my rims and remaining tires and take them to a different shop to complete the install. They disposed of the original tire but now I believe It possibly could have been repaired. I've had many tires installed by this place over the years, but no more. read more

I brought my bike in for fix and tune up. He fix it so I wouldn't stall on me ..I'm disabled now and spent all this months money It's cost me too. But I get home looking at it. He didn't fix any hose. No fuel filter. And I gotta get it fixed cause it's leaking gas now I'm broke and walking till next month I'll find someone and it really sucks they came highly recommended. Sounds like I'm not alone in the issues I had. Went in to get a flat tire patched, but it turns out the hole was on the side of the tire so I'd have to get it replaced. They put my donut on and send me on my way. Almost a week later and I still hadn't heard anything. I called them, and they said "....oh yeah, it's here."......great. I make an appointment for the next day at noon. Three customers walk in without appointments and are seen and tended to before I am. An hour later and they haven't even started on my car. When I was leaving work I noticed I had a tire that was nearly flat so I drove to the nearest tire place and thank god it was Tires Plus!! I ended up having to get a replacement because my tire was so worn down and I thought I was going to have to scramble to find a way home and to work the next day because they were closing soon. But no! they stayed and replaced my tire. I am terrible with names but the guy that helped me out was the nicest! He said it was only his 5th day there but he had 10/10 customer service. This is my favorite tires plus in town! Steve, Josh and the entire team are always so personable and great! I call a day or two ahead, schedule and oil change and then head over to Heine Brothers to catch up on some work, shop Chenoweth Square or get in a workout at Byou. Give the us about an hour and the oil change is done, tires are rotated, if an alignment or anything else is needed they give you a call and it's done! The tires plus credit card offered different promotions and road hazard is a must! Got nails in two new tires (I drive a lot) within a month and they were replaced at almost full value (minus disposal fees and taxes). read more

I have been dealing with this business for several years. Oil changes, new tires etc.. But I had a power steering issue . So I took it to them. Left the car there. They called me and said that my Power Steering Pump was bad. Gave me a price and I told them to replace it. They called and told me the car was done. I picked it up, and it had a small amount of stiffness in the steering. But I assumed it was because of the new pump. But a week went by and it started to get worse. So I called and made another appointment to take it in. This time they said it needed a new Rack and Pinion. Wow that was going to be over $1100. But its the only car I have and can't afford a newer one. So I agreed. Picked it up and it drove like a new car. Then around 3 weeks later I started to have tight spots in the steering. Took it back for the third time. And they told me it was a bad sensor in the Rack and Pinion, which I bought new 3 weeks earlier. But they said that they couldn't find one at anywhere local. Well this was on a Saturday afternoon. So the main man at the store told me he would find one on Monday and give me a call. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday went by with no call. So I called the store and asked about it. But the guy that answered the phone had no clue about it. So I'm still dealing with steering that has tight spots when I turn the wheel. Very disappointed in there professionalism. Without the plain courtesy to call me back. I definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE ANY MECHANICAL WORK DONE HERE. read more

First let me say to all the "elite" members...stop it, your reviews are fake and payed for. Got new Primewells put on. A knot formed on the sidewall with 20k miles on the tire. Was told it was from hitting a pothole and not a defect. Listen, I've bought plenty of tires from this place, including the aforementioned brand. I've hit plenty of potholes(on old ass tires). Not once has a knot formed on the sidewall. They said the warranty doesn't cover it. The district mgr was trying to loud talk me on the phone. Never ever take your car here! Oh and they also overcharged my a/c but that's another story for another time. I'm currently filing complaints with the bbb and the consumer fraud division, and taking them to small claims. Oh and if any manager or owner wants to respond with the cookie cutter "we're sorry you had a bad experience..blah blah blah" response, save it, the only remedy is a new tire, free of charge. I visited this store for the 1st time on 12/17/21 for an oil change and tire rotation. At that time I was advised I needed new filters and tires. They replaced the filters and I advised that I would return for new tires. I returned on 3/26/22 for new tires. This visit I was advised that in addition to new tires, I now also needed a new battery and new lug nuts. I told the service representative, that my car was there 3 months prior and there was no mention that the lug nuts were bad. I also told the service representative that this is only my 2nd visit to their store and each time I'm told that more work needs to be done on my car than what I brought it in for. He had no response. I drive a 2016 Lincoln MKC. In all the years that my vehicle has been serviced by a Lincoln dealership, there has never been any damage done to my car. After one visit to this store, their service men used an air gun on my lug nuts instead of torquing the lug nuts to proper specs by hand. This destroyed the lug nuts. This damage done by their men, cost me an additional $254.19 to a already existing bill of $796. In addition to this, the service representative advised me that the battery is bad and needed replacement at an additional cost of $250.20. The existing battery was installed on 12/23/19 by a Lincoln dealership. We will be returning to an authorized Lincoln dealership for future service and repairs. Only visit this store if you want your car damaged, and to be up sold on additional items and service that are necessary. read more

I scheduld 2 separate appointments for simple oil changes and tire rotations. When I arrived for the first appointment I was told they could not service my vehicle and that the appointment needed to be canceled. No prior notice. I took the vehicle back for a second appointment. The vehicle was at the shop for 4 hours. I called to check on status and was told they did not get to the vehicle. This shop used to be reliable and a pleasure to do business with. I will be sending my vehicle to more reliable mechanics for future needs. read more

We've been doing business with this location since the '70s. I had an appointment for 3:00 to repair a slow leak; was there 2:40 and the car was taken in at 4:00!! It was fixed in 25 minutes. As I was leaving a young woman came in and said her car was still where it was 5 hours ago!! Other customers came with no appointments and were waited on?? I purchased tires here last year and immediately went back due to slight thumping in rear end, but they said it was fine. Returned recently for oil change, tire rotation and check thumping noise and vibration in left rear that had gotten worse over time. After they inspected my car I was told to replace shocks and then rebuild differential if shocks didn't solve the problem. I declined additional repairs. I drove home with thumping and vibration and had the car lifted by a friend. He found loose lug nuts. We tightened them...problem solved. Based on them not tightening the lug nuts it appears they didn't rotate the tires or check anything and tried to upsell unneeded repairs. They are either dishonest or incompetent. read more

Tire shops should be easy. You drop off the car, tell them what's wrong, they fix said car, they call and you pick up at a later time. I dropped off my work truck (fleet vehicle) and simply requested scheduled maintenance and to replace the windshield wipers. No rush, just call me when it's done. Simple. NOPE. They had the truck for 24 hours only after until I called for an update did they inform me it was complete. Tire pressure wasn't adjusted, although they did indeed rotate the tires. (front/rear) but I still didn't get my new windshield wipers. Lucky for them, it's the closest location to my new residence so I just ride my bicycle to and from while I wait for the maintenance to be completed. read more

He quoted my a price of nearly $600 with labor. I took my car to my cousin's shop. He looked at it. The power steering pump switch was broken, a $45 fix. We called the Firestone dealer, Michel Tires Plus, in Elizabethtown (the closest town to us as were we driving) and asked them if they could help. They said, "Yes, come on in." We arrived about an hour before they closed and Steve took care of us. He got his technician to fix it super fast! There was no charge because we had a Firestone road hazard plan. Mike V did a scan on my car and informed me that the scan would not tell us what was wrong with my vehicle and stated I must do a diagnostics to find out what is going on. $80.00 later his diagnoses was that it was a "running" error and that my catalytic converters are failing do to age.. Then his solution to the problem was to clean the throttle body and suggest I come back and get it replaced if his cleaning did not fix the issue. $176.94 cents later ... my car is the exact same way I brought it in. This place is a joke... If you want a reputable place to go I highly recommend Jay Barkers Auto Repair .. He is not in the business of taking advantage of women or men with false claims and services. Really disappointed. I just came in to get my tires rotated. The next day, my tire pressure monitoring light came on so I got out and checked the pressure in all 4. Three were 8 lbs low and one was 12 lbs low. They didnt bother to check the tire pressure.. at a tire store?! I then filled them up with air, therefore negating any advantage I see from using nitrogen. BTW, the car came with it from the factory. It must have it's uses. I later learned that Michel tires and for that matter Firestone (who owns them) does not carry nitrogen at all. So I'm assuming they saw the green caps and didnt bother. They could've at least told me that when I was there. The staff in the office was quite nice. The guys who do the work, I'm not too sure about. After my car was backed out of the garage, I watched him let my clutch go and spin the tires. Not cool, buddy. read more

Its also very inexpensive, so if you just want cheap tires, unmounted, and proceed to take your tires to another shop for mounting balancing etc. Then, this is the place for you. If you want any, I mean ANY OTHER SERVICE, do not go here. Would it convince you if I tell you about the time they casually forgot to tighten my lug nuts and my wheel came off on the highway? How about that I currently do have on tires purchased from here on my truck, and i do have rotation & balancing plan, and i still do not go to Michael Tires Plus. The man who did fed me a line of bull about my tire having tire rot all over it and wanting to sell me 4 new tires for hundreds of dollars. I had been planning a trip not to long before this and took the car in to be checked over and everything came out good including the tires. Giving them the benefit of the doubt however I went to a 3rd place to inspect my tires. they also said my tires were in great condition. I had a coupon and some time to spare, so I made an appointment for new tires, an alignment, and all the good things that come with it. Jason and Mike we're awesome. I got a great deal on tires and I spent just over an hour waiting. As I waited I talked with Mike and Jason about books, movies, and sports. Someone left a tire iron in my parking lot and I hit it yesterday when I got home from work. It went right through my tire immediately flattening it. I put on the spar and called Michel Tires Plus and talked to Steve Escalante. He told me to bring it right in so he could see if it could be repaired, of course it could not. He helped me buy 4 new tires, offered me the store discounts and helped me through all the paperwork. This is the best customer service I have received from anyone.
