Who doesn't love Sam's Club ? The best adult club lol this location is pretty breezy lots of great finds and pretty fast pace . I love the deals they have and finding new amazing things to try . They have something pretty much for your whole house hold. From the food to the deserts to the clothing and kids fun out door activities to look into is awesome. The cakes here are great for a larger group at a decent price and they have huge outdoor play activities for kids specially for the summer pools , bouncy houses and sheafs for the parents . read more

I was at the fuel pump today and only lately I had been having trouble with my card acting right, and I want to take the time out to commend their employee Will , he was so kind and considerate in helping me because I felt so embarrassed about what I was doing believe it or not. This Sam's Club was once a great example of how good a Sam's Club could be. This location continues fall short on a number of issues. There is always a line at Membership Services, but today, there is only one person during the lunchtime holiday rush. The food services lady was super nice, trying to take care of the lines of people trying to grab a dog or a pizza. The icee machine is only partially working, no Coke icee. Pepsi Soda machines are completely down, so they have to offer a warm can of Coke, Diet Coke, or Sprite. I guess you can't expect much for $1.50. And finally, after enjoying my hot dog, I go to deposit my trash, and the cans are overflowing. At this point, I have come to realize that management is either clueless or couldn't care less about providing an acceptable customer experience. read more

Always a treat shopping at Sam's! As usual I specifically came in for certain items but left with add'l items . The store was remodeled about 3 months ago and its more spacious. Took a minute to find my usual items but everything is spaced out. First time noticing they carry mattresses . Xmas trees and decor are out if you're looking to stock up early. I love the self checkout it makes the checkout experience a lot faster. They even have self checkout to order pizza, hotdogs,etc. No more long lines. Scan & Go or Customer Pickup?? Which would you choose??? Figured I'd run inside and grab some lamb chops to see how long it would take. 10 minutes max from arrival to hopping back in my car. I used the Scan & Go app, and there was no line at the door. So, once they scanned my QR receipt and my chops, I was out the door. Next, I went to the pickup section, and checked in for the order I'd placed the day prior. It took about 8 minutes for them to bring it out. The employee was kind and efficient. She packed everything neatly, and even grabbed some nuggets that were almost forgotten. Overall, I think I love scan & go, when I have time to shop and some labor to help me load the car when I leave. But, I certainly love the convenience of pick up! read more

Just purchased my membership yesterday and I'm already so annoyed at the lack of customer service and responsiveness. I placed a delivery order for 3 days out, later that day the order is cancelled by the store without reason. I try calling the store to find out why the cancellation occurred to no avail. No one answers the member services extension. Just constant ringing for 5+ minutes until the line hangs up on its own. I called over 10 times in a two day span trying to reach someone and not once did someone answer. Even tried the other departments extensions to see if they could transfer me. The first lady in optical said her phone doesn't have that capability and hung up. Someone in the bakery was nice enough to transfer me first to member services and then to the manager's direct line. Still no answer on either. Even tried calling the toll free customer service number which was again no help. The man could not comprehend anything I was saying then placed me on hold for over 30 minutes saying he would be right back with an update. Next thing you know the call says it's being transferred to the company that handles Sam's Club credit cards. So frustrating! I was hoping the membership would be worth it for the convenience of delivery but what's the point if the service doesn't follow through or function properly and you can't even get in contact with anyone?? read more

I don't often write bad reviews, but Sam's Club on Scenic Hwy in Lawrenceville, GA is the worst. They have two employees working the snack counter. A very long line and several associates including the manager Errol just walking around very casually. I approached the manager Errol, after waiting in the snack line for over 15 min, to ask him to put up a sign indicating they had not soft serve yogurt. When I approached him, he said someone else was the mgr., when clearly he was identified as the mgr He and another mgr was present but he pointed to another associate. He obviously doesn't take customer service seriously. I asked him again was he the mgr. He finally said yes. I explained to him the snack bar was out of yogurt and asked him to put a sign up so guest would not have to wait 10-15 to find out He sarcastically says he would and offered no apology for the inconvenience. This is why Costco is rank by its employees and customers as the better option This Sams on scenic hwy is poorly managed, which speaks to all levels of leadership at this location and above. I avoid this location and encourage others to do the same. Go to Costco or Sams club Buford or Pleasant Hill The icing on the proverbial cake was I called customer service, they were more concerned with what my membership number was than heating my feedback. Sams club is a membership-only retail warehouse club. You need a membership card in order to buy anything here, otherwise you'd have to pay I believe the 10% of the entire order. There are 3 types of memberships you can purchase: the regular, the plus, and the business card. With the regular card ($45 a year) you receive some discounts monthly. With the plus card ($100 a year) you get discounts too, but you can also earn cash rewards. So every time you spend $500 you get $10 for you to spend or cash out. With any of the memberships you get discounts on tires, pharmacy and glasses prescriptions. Sams club is owned by Walmart Inc, so if you have a gift card, or a credit card from Walmart, you can also use it here. The cafe is also great in any Sams club. You can get a hot dog and a drink for $1.50 or a pizza slice for about $3. All of the clubs are pretty much the same, but service would always make the difference. If you want fresh produce, do not use Sam's curbside pickup in Snellville, Ga. On several occasions, I've received old produce so I avoid ordering it. Today, I really needed to place the order curbside because of time constraints. I decided to try one more time. Clear as day the produce sell by day was 5 days ago. I'm convinced they sell the spoiled produce to curbside customers. That's poor business. I called the store and nobody would pick up the phone from the Curbside pickup department. Sam's Club can be a great place to save, but do not be fooled. Honestly, not everything here is a deal, so do your research. However, they do offer lots of deals and some of their products Member's Mark (food, trash bags, soaps) can be just as good, or better than other brands. For example, I just purchased some Member's Mark Luxury bath towels for just $7 each, they are very thick, like those nice ones from hotels, they would probably cost about $20 each elsewhere. I'd stay away from their diapers and wipes, as they are very paper-thin. How to save time while shopping here: The checkout lines at this Sam's Club are usually a nightmare. I highly recommend downloading the "SAMS CLUB" app on your phone, as you can scan items as you place them into your shopping cart, and after you are done, just slide to pay using your phone, just walk past those long lines like the boss you are, yeah, people might look at you like what are you doing, but who cares? Cause you are the technology-savvy boss baby! As you walk towards the exit, just show the employees the QR code that popped up after you paid on your phone, they will scan it and you are good to go. This really makes shopping here easy and by using your phone you save time and have a digital receipt. My biggest issue with Sam's Clubs is that NO one seems to ever answer their phone. Last week I called three locations (this included) and the phone rang 20 times, then I was disconnected. Seriously, Sam's Club your members are paying to be a member, answer your phones during business hours. This location has their coffee/smoothie machine broken; it has been done for 5 months... When I ask the employees, they always say management knows, but will not fix it. The lady at the exit for checking out, she is amazing... I love her. She is always so nice. I came here, after a doctor's appointment. I wasn't going to stop, but decided to because I had a $25 gift card. I had received the $25 gift card, when I rejoined Sams club, after being a non member for 2 years. I was there for almost an hour and a half. I had been having sciatica pain, so I had to take it easy. I went to the check out line, and since I had more than 10 items, the lady told me that I would have to transfer all of my items, to a separate cart. It was difficult, because I had moderately heavy items in my cart. Bending is not good when you have sciatica pain. But, I transferred the items anyway. It was time to pay, and I let the lady know that I had a gift card. She told me that I could not use a gift card in that line, and I would have to wait in a different line. She canceled my transaction, and I went and stood in another line. Boy oh boy! After waiting in line for almost 15 minutes, I gave the cashier my canceled transaction receipt and told her that I had a gift card and I wanted to pay for my canceled items. I pulled up my gift card number and pin (that I got in July.) The cashier was entering the card, bit it wasn't going through. So, she called over another lady to assist her. It still didn't go through. The cashier called over a man named Errol. I assume he was a manager, because of his uniform. Errol said that I had to give the gift card a while to activate. "I guess 3 months isn't enough time, huh?" I said. I explained to him, that I got the gift card for rejoining Sams Club. Errol decides to ask me if I've used the money on the card. IF I USED THE MONEY ON THE CARD, WOULD I BE STANDING IN LINE, TRYING TO USE IT? Omg! I told the cashier, that I wasn't going to buy my items. It was ok. $300 worth of groceries and essentials, and I walked right out without it. Not because of the $25 gift card, but because of the principle. How dare Errol ask if I used the card before, and how dare Sams try to hoodwink me! I joined, because of that $25 incentive. Shoot, I was proud of that $25. I got into my car and called Sams customer service. I talked to them for about 15 minutes. I let them know that I wanted to cancel my membership and I wanted a refund for joining the club. Customer service apologized and gave me $30 (they sent it to my payment method that was on file.) They apologized, and I am willing to give them another try. Not at this Sams club though. read more

Let me start by saying I have been a member of Sam's Club since they came to the Atlanta area. The Snellville club is my primary location. The lines are always long, but I started using Scan and Go so I never have to wait in line. Until tonight. I went in and grabbed one item - highly unusual for me - but it was crowded and I just wanted to grab the one item I needed and go. Per usual, the lines were long but I did scan and go and headed for the door. Here's we're my problem started. The line to leave the building was 15 people deep and everyone had FULL carts. Normally I'm one of those people but not today. I walked to the door thinking the lady working the door would see that I just had one item and let me go. She said "I have to scan you out." And I said "ok" and I waited for her to finish with the person she was helping. She said to me "there's a line you have to get in." And she pointed all the way back to the restrooms! I said "I just have one item" and she said "I don't care you have to go to the end". I said "I would rather return this than wait in that line. This is ridiculous. Why is there only one person here today?" Usually there are two at the exits. I'm sorry - it rubbed me the wrong way. Here I use the scan and go feature but the "go" part is missing if I now have to stand in line to leave the building. I've been there, like I said, a million times and people with one or two items always kind of scoot to the front. It's never a big deal because most people are understanding, including me. Anyway, I went to the end of the line and waited. I planned on saying something to the manager about the need for two people at the door, but there was no manager around. So I finally made it through the line and was able to leave the store. I got to my car and called to tell the manager about my experience and every time I call someone answers and says "thanks for calling Sam's Club, hold please." And they never come back to the phone. After holding for 30 minutes I hung up and decided to write a yelp review. Really disappointed as I'm usually a big fan of Sam's Club. read more

Come on everybody, let's go to The Club! Yes, you heard me right, Sam's Club! Sam's Club of Snellville is super. The selection is good, the prices are good, and they sell Gatorade Flow among other tasty drinks. The staff is friendly, generally speaking. There was one time, one of them was really difficult to me about showing my membership card before entering while not doing it to other members directly in front of me. That really bothered me. Otherwise, i like this place. The prices here are fantastic and it's a great way to purchase products in bulk and if you have a family, then it just works. I recommend purchasing electronics from here such as TV's and such as their prices are very good and the warranty and Sam's Club customer service desk are very helpful and make returns simple if the product you purchased failed to meet expectations or had a defect. Parking is plentiful, membership prices are reasonable and the team member at the exit is very kind when you are leaving. One word of caution, don't park you car near stray carts or they may end up leaving some damage on your vehicle. You can get your photos printed here and also they have an optometrist on site that you can get help from and it appears you can also get hearing aids from here for those who are hard in hearing. I give them a 4.515 stars - 1 star for that very unpleasant experience rounded up to get me a solid 4 Yelp Stars for the club.. Sam's Club! read more

There was a lot of old people and young people waiting to check out and go home and the manager did not want to do anything about it and it was people yelling at each other. Not worth one star. Purchased $190 speaker at 10:30am. Drive 30 mins home for event to find while setting it up that there was no power cord in the box. Called location twice and it just rang for 25 minutes each time. No one answers the phones there. Drive back to the store to spend another 10 minutes looking for parking. When inside, they only have two people working customer service, where one of the older ladies, whom name tag was not visible, stated her name was Lesley. She was very slow and took 20 minutes with a lady returns a box of $7 crackers. After waiting 40 minutes in there line, that only had 4 people in front of me, made it Lesley at 12:51pm. She was very rude, did not listen and offers a lack-luster customer service. Kept cutting me off after I said one sentence and questioned something. Extremely rude. No wonder this location has high turn over and mid lever scores. How can this be the example of service at your customer service desk. You need to seriously rethink the leadership at this location selecting individual like Lesley (if that's her real name) for employment. She was a light brown slimmed older black lady, maybe 60 years old. Check the camera for Sunday, 12/15/19. Then herd this old witch cracking jokes after. Piss poor service on all levels. My sister is a member of this Sam's Club and based off my experiences shopping with her, this place is A-OK. I am a member of a larger club in my area, but with little competition in this area I think this store is a solid 3 stars! The store itself is well taken care of and kept clean so you can push a big buggy through the aisle to stock up on your bulk purchases. Some of the typical items we purchase here are peanut butter, paper products (their house brand, member's mark), trash bags, coffee and snacks. These items are sold at a great value and the house brand is just as good as national brands! Free samples on the weekend, helpful and friendly staff and a scan and go open to skip the crowds. They are really trying to improve the customer experience here and I can appreciate that! The membership will run you $45/year for the basic account but you can upgrade to the plus card for $100/year where you can earn cash back/rewards if you're a frequent shopper. You can get $10 back for every $500 spent. If you're a casual shopper I wouldn't recommend signing up for the plus. A family of 4+ would likely benefits from the membership but that's not the case for us! read more

I ordered over 200.00 worth of items for delivery between 2-4 pm. Nothing yet as of 11pm. No call no nothing. Yet I had to pay a delivery fee and tip to get nothing. They use spark for delivery and they are pure trash. Got a refund on my order but spark still gets paid and tipped snd I get a gift card for said tip and delivery fee. Clearly one of the worst Sams Clubs I have ever been in. it starts with parking which is horrible particularly with the gas station that takes up a large portion of the parking lot. Then the line for the gas station blocks three or four rows of parking access. That's the best part. Once in the store, I have never seen a chain selling more expired produce in my life. I do not know how they get away with it but their quality control is the pits. Now proceed to trying to pay. The manager needs to visit Costco and see how's it's done. They keep removing registers adding to lines. Then they put in less self pays than they had registers. A large number of them are constantly not working. Then people have issue after issue trying to check out. A joke. Then try to exit. OMG, you wait as long to get out as you did shopping. I will not be renewing my Sams membership after this year. My husband purchased a beautiful ring for me at Sams's Club. He also purchased a 6 year warranty for the ring. It has broken in the same spot 5 times. It has been repaired 4 times. Each time it is sent, it is a minimum of three weeks before it is sent back. Each time we receive it, it is still broken. We have spoken with the managers at Asurion. Each time we are promised the ring will be repaired. Every time we have received it back, it is still broken. Sam's Club will not take any responsibility at all. They have told me in person and over the phone they only sell the jewelry and they have no relationship with the warranty company. I'm not even going there. Do not purchase any jewelry of value from Sam's Club. This was the sweetest surprise from my husband. I only wish he had purchased from a reputable jewelry company and not Sam's Club. To be clear, my five star rating goes to a worker and not the store or the organization as a whole. While reading some of this store's reviews, I am in agreement. This store has gone downhill quite a bit in the last few years. The pain points at Sam's Club in Snellville are numerous and considerable. It's bad enough that staff is scant and I feel like I need a treasure map and Indiana Jones to find any specific item in the store, but I have also experienced rude, unknowledgeable or untrained staff (up and down seemingly endless isles), broken checkout stations, out-of-stock issues, phones that continue to ring with no one available to answer them, the occasional unavailability of motorized chairs, long checkout lines, and the often chaotic, free for all taking place in the parking lot (with motorist aggressively jockeying for position). When all of these pain points combine with my recent leg injury, the lack luster management of the store only succeeds in adding insult to injury. The organizational arrangement at this location may be broken down, and exceedingly gray but the one thing they did right was to hire a young worker named Will. Will stands out from fellow colleagues not because of his height but due to his cheerful, welcoming demeanor and willingness to help customers. When working the front door, Will greets customers with a genuine smile, patience and a level of professionalism unmatched by other workers at this location, based on my observations and experiences. He's respectful and efficient when scanning receipts and never makes you feel like you stole something or that you are a suspect. Will carries himself in a way that makes customers feel like they made the right choice even coming to the store and the trip wasn't an abstract waste of time. His demeanor makes shopping at this location more pleasant than it actually is. In my opinion, management needs to take notice. I believe that if Will were promoted to training manager overseeing the customer service training for Sam's club, the organization, as a whole, would not get so many customer complaints about rude, disinterested staff who act like you are bothering them when you have a question. That's assuming you can even find a staff person to ask a question. Should I continue shopping at this location? Am I going to continue shopping at this store? Who knows. As a senior, with an often painful leg injury, it may not always look pretty but, I know I can get through it. Where there's a Will there's a way. read more

I was shopping yesterday at Sam's & I was applauded by the lack of products & especially the checkout process. They make the best rotisserie chicken at the best price. They usually have them about 4;30pm. They only had one machine working & at 4:30pm I was told that they would not be ready for another hour & a half. My wife likes a special flavored water, they were out. I had on two items & I went to check out. Over half of self-checkout spaces were not working. I moved from three lines that looked faster. One customer had a basket full of items, scanned all the items & the machine locked up & there was no Sam's employee that could be found. The people left the store they were so frustrated. I finally scanned my two items & then I found the line to leave the store was way past the checkout machines all the way to the rest rooms. This is not service & it is not worth the small savings. I was carrying my 2 things. They had every cash register open but only 1 person checking receipts. Poor girl checking receipts had no clue what she was doing so things were all backed up and no one seemed to care. She was rescanning everything. Ridiculous - I just walked out and told them go ahead and call the cops as I paid and have my receipt from a live cashier. I get that people who use the self check out might cheat they system and not scan everything, but people who use an actual cashier should not be punished. This Sam's has gone down hill.
