I came to this tire shop and I am so happy I did. I got 2 new tires with warranty for $250. The price was amazing, but the highlight was the staff. They were friendly, informative & relived the stress from what was a stressful day. I hate dealing with cars (I'm just a girl) and they assured me everything was going to be ok. Even when their bays are full they're responsive to those who walk in the door and honest about wait times. Recently when there was a stocking supply issue, where I was promised and paid for tires that were not completely there, they stepped up and corrected the issue in a timely and satisfactory manner. These guys are total rock stars. I have low profile tires that are prone to all kinds of damage from the normal screws and nails to pothole damage. My Tesla dealer recommended them because they offer road hazard insurance so I bought a tire six months ago and got the coverage. Last month the tire developed a slow leak so I took it in to have them take a look at it. Not only did they repair that tire for free, but they checked out the other three and found that two of them had screws through the tread. So they repaired both of those tires as well. For free! Needless to say I'm not going to go anywhere else for new tires or repairs. Plus, they gave me a time for an appointment and stuck to it. Nice people, great service, and very capable. One other thing: when I've taken these low profile tires to Mavis or Goodyear, they told me that because of the sponge material inside the tire that can't be patched, only replaced. Michelin said they could be patched, but I couldn't find anyone to do it. Guess who knows how to patch my tire?! No replacement necessary. read more

Upon arrival an efficient checkin at 3:09 and told my car would be completed by 4:09. While waiting, we ate at nearby restaurant and received 3 status updates via text... #1 in bay, #2 vehicle being worked on, #3 ready for pickup. The BEST News...I purchased Discount Tire's warranty when I originally purchased tires, so the replacement of my punctured $250+ Michelin tire caused by a fender-bender ONLY COST ME $42 for the warranty on this new tire!!! COVID-19.... You messed up the world!!!! I ran into some thing and in 2 minutes my rear left tire went flat. My fiance rescued me. We went to the store across the street and for quoted for a $300 tire.... One tire. Came here and they were able to order me a new spare tire, have it available and installed the following say... One tire was $220. I cringe when I hear the prices but I can't ride on my spare that long. So we ordered it. They called me the following day set an appointment. Owee.. so not come on a Friday it was so busy! They told me it would take an hour but due to staffing issues and being busy it went well over 1.5 hours. It's ok cuz I spent my time watching Love and Hip Hop lol! They have a good warranty and customer service was really nice. Just a long wait and pricey riees. I should have waited and shopped around because now I see that Costco has a sale on tires..... Ugh. read more

These guys saved me yet again! Called on a Monday afternoon to replace a flat I got heading home from work. They put the order right away and had my manufacturer tire replaced by Friday the same week!-tire came from warehouse Orlando- They even remembered me from my first run in . One of the guys came out to me before I could get out of my car and knew exactly who I was (i may be the only Kona they service ‍) but regardless, they had me in and out in a bout 15 minutes & with the warranty I put on all of my tires from my first visit, it only cost me $15 for the new tires warranty. Hell yes! These dudes are great. Highly recommended for both service & reasonable prices (January 2021) Had to special order a tire for my baby. Took a few days coming from another state but they called as soon as it arrived and I made an appt early the next day. Luckily I never had to leave my car... until it was time to pay of course. I always have a great experience at Discount Tire, Stone Mountain Hwy. They are customer oriented and their prices are lower than other places. They stand behind all the products they sell. When they answer the phone or when you enter the store, they greet you with a friendly and cheerful demeanor! I recently brought in my 2nd car in after a terrible experience with Gwinnett Place Nissan and Tyreece Curtis, assistant manager, was so helpful and patient. He took time to deal with our Michelin warranty issues in a fast and friendly manner. On top of all that, they provide a drive through tire check and fill even if you are not a current customer. Every time I have come here the people at the front desk for 10 they don't see you and then they are super rude. Today I attempted for a third time in the last year to use them when I left my job at the hospital and saw there was a screw in my tire and the guy just stared at me and said it's 2 to 3 hours. Literally every bay was empty except for two there were four open ones and I said I just need the tire plugged I can't not go back to work and he just said . Sorry. 2 hours ago, I went to buy a tire for my F 150, and have the spare put back under the bed. On this truck, the spare is suspended by a cable wound with a long wrench tool. While waiting, the tech asked me for my cable tool. I asked did they not have their own (this is a tire shop). He said theirs didn't work (how can a wrench not work)? I went out and found mine. A few minutes later he came back and said the cable would not unwind. I asked if they could put it on a lift and see why not - he said no.The lift was 20 feet away. He said the cable was rusty; I suggested spraying it with WD 40 or some such. He said that's what I should do. I'm 72 years old, and it is 97 degrees outside - not a good idea. Their employee made no attempt to resolve this - didn't ask another tech, or the manager. A tire store should be able to deal with minor problems like this - or at least try. Couldn't help wondering if he'd have said that to younger female customers. read more

Took my car in for regular tire maintenance, my pressure light was working before I took it to Discount tire, but once the service was completed, my pressure reading was not working. Took my vehicle back to the store only to be told after so long the sensor was worn, and pressure changing from old to new tires could cause a malfunction; no accountability was taken from the Discount tire side, not even a discount if I wanted to get it fixed then. I often travel for work, so the tire pressure notification is important. Took my vehicle to Toyota they inspected my vehicle and were told that Discount Tire did in fact, damage the sensor especially if it was working beforehand. Why is this sensor damage such a common problem it's like they change the tire and, no matter what, never take accountability for damaging the sensor. Thank just not fair to the consumers read more

Had an appointment for a free tire repair. I had one person previously tell me the tire is still good except for the puncture. So I took it to Discount Tires in Stone Mountain. WORST decision I ever made. The rep at the counter told me the tire was not able to be repaired. So I asked for a new tire price and he quoted me 65 but the total price was 108 bucks. The man charged me for the extra insurance on the tire which I did NOT ask for nor did he TELL ME he was charging me for it. And the same guy put down the WRONG TIRE to repair. It was the tire with the DONUT on it, how simple can that be. But this guy messed up the order and I almost drove away in the rain paying for a tire that was NOT fixed. He had a nonchalant attitude coupled with an insincere apology. My next letter will be to the corporate offices and DISTRICT and REGIONAL managers to complain. read more

I just received the most court customer service . This is a thing that you find these days that is few and far between. Appointment 0800 service was completed and I was on my way at 0835. What the, well I've been to that car service establishment that starts with N and only has two more letters. Takes between 2-2.5 hours for one tire and discount tire replaced 3 with a smile on their faces. Definitely recommend this place. They deserve a 10. read more

I went to get a tire mounted and the entire crew was very nice, professional and got it done within a matter of minutes. I wasn't even there 30 minutes.
