Bulldog came highly recommended because of their honesty, the quality of their work and reasonable prices. Both vechicles needed repairs. Brakes on the Honda and a oil change. Excellent service, priced very reasonable, the team are professional, knowledgable and friendly. The Hyundai interior brake light on the dash stayed on, they diagnosed the problem, called me let me know how much and how long it would take. Again excellent service and reasonable prices. Because they are the best auto repair shop in town, there is going to be a longer wait then usual to get serviced, but I can tell you it is worth the wait. Found these guys through YELP. I have had a bad experience with Carey Paul Honda & Maverick so I was nervous about going anywhere for an oil change. I made an appointment online and I came a little early they still serviced me. I was greeted when I came in and it smelled awesome in the lounge and it was super clean. Went for an oil change and tire rotation, but tried to get an upsell on a set of new tires and would not rotate the tires even though I said to do so and give me a price of a new set of tires and I would get to it in a couple of weeks. My car was making a rattling sound that was really concerning me so I took it here on my way home to have it diagnosed. They were a little busy but looked at it within half an hour or so for $15 which wasn't too bad. Once they were done "diagnosing" the issue, though they informed me that I needed a new catalytic converter and resonator and that it would be $400 to fix and take half a day. I thought something was just loose but they told me that was not at all the case and that if I kept driving my car the way it was that eventually the catalytic converter would get clogged with exhaust and cause my car to spontaneously stop. Being the smart shopper that I am, I called around and eventually found a place that would install a converter I bought from an auto parts store for $100 which was all I thought I needed since resonators aren't really necessary. As it turns out installing a catalytic converter is about a 15 minute welding job and definitely not something that takes half a day. I asked the shop I went to if I could look underneath my car and they showed me that my resonator does in fact have a leak but said that it's not necessary to get it fixed. I asked to keep my old converter when I was paying and all the honeycombs were intact but I was still hopeful that my car was fixed. Within a minute of driving I was furious since my converter was in fact completely fine and while Bulldog could have gotten a bit of money out of me for fixing whatever was wrong, they instead wanted to hit the jackpot and overcharge me to fix something that wasn't even broken. I was completely swindled by Bulldog and would recommend that you stay as far away from this despicable place as possible since they have no desire to fix your car and instead have every intention of extracting as much money from your pockets as they possibly can. They are the lowest of the low lying scum and give mechanics everywhere a bad name so don't let what happened to me happen to you; go somewhere else. read more

This company replaced my tire on behalf of Classic Collision. I went to a tire place today to get two more tires replaced and when they looked in the little envelope for the wheel lock there was a regular lug nut in there instead of my wheel lock!!! I had to go from lawrenceville to Peachtree industrial to BUY another wheel lock at the Lexus dealership to replace the one that was missing. Whomever lost/took my wheel lock took the time to put a generic lug nut in the wheel-lock specific envelope which cries foul to me!! Shame on you!! read more

I have been doing business with Bulldog Tire in Snellville for about 25 years. Today, July 28, 2017 I took my car for a scheduled oil and filter change and to have the tires rotated and balanced. I have a lifetime balance and rotation which I paid for upfront. The mechanic that changed my oil and filter also rotated my tires. However, he only took one of my tires to the spin balancer. The other 3 tires were mounted back on my car along with the 1 tire that was balanced.. I told the manager about this and what I observed as I went to pay. He said, then you mean you want all 4 balanced. Then we will do that and will have your car ready in about 10 minutes. This very thing has happened before with the same comment from the manager. Needless to say, they lost me as a customer. I do not like having to worry about whether or not a mechanic or a manager are doing their jobs. And I don't like to pay for something and then the job is not completed. read more

I have a 75 Chevy C10 with a 454 engine. The starter was gone so my neighbor recommended Bulldog Tire. I had it towed to Bulldog. While they had it I asked them to install a custom steering wheel that I had purchased. I also told them it was running rough and wanted them to tune the carburetor. They did everything I had asked except the tuning. It turned out that my wires were bad and I needed plugs but the worst was the carburetor that was on the truck was bad. I was sceptic about the carb since it had been added by the previous owner. I went online to an classic truck site and found out that the carb that was on the truck was actually set up for a marine motor and was for a Ford. I let Bulldog recommend a new carb and install it. They were right on the money. The new carb is great, my truck runs better than it ever had and I could not be happier. I was pleased with their knowledge and their work. Their price was reasonable and I will be using them for my other cars and trucks. read more
