There was a lot of confusion about where people were supposed to stand, and it made the whole process more stressful than it needed to be. I'm a member for both warehouses and dread going in for my Sumatra at Sams because I know you never see management in front of the store and you see inept service both at check out and the food service counter. I buy very little at this chain. But they have my Starbucks Sumatra going for them. I waited no less than 5 minutes for a sundae and after the five minute walked away while the two people who were ahead of me when I got in line were also still waiting. UGH! read more

Sam's Club welcomes you when you reach the T-Mobil kiosk. Three stupid kids shouting at everyone walking by about saving money with T-Mobile. When I ignored them they screamed "Don't you care about saving money?" They thought their disrespect and unprofessional behavior was funny. I complained to a Sam's Club manager. She apologized for T-Mobile, saying she would have a talk with them, but went on with her job sending customers through the checkout lines. If this happened at Costco the T-Mobile kiosk would have been shut down immediately. It appears that Sam's Club doesn't have much respect for their customers. read more

With the closure of several nearby Sam's Club locations, this has become my default location to go to. Fortunately, the selection here is good -- with more options of both higher end and lower end items than I've seen at other stores. Another big benefit is that the store has more options for attractive displays and rarer items than I've seen elsewhere. Checkout speed is alright, fairly quick most of the time. Aisle traffic isn't too bad with a bit better spacing than I've seen at other clubs, although it can get congested near the front and by the food. Samples are plentiful and the bakery is good (although I prefer the custom designs from the wheeling location a bit better). Parking is plentiful with minimal cross traffic as this is located at the end of the plaza. Carts are typically well stocked and stored in a convenient to reach area near the front. Overall, a solid Sam's Club choice with plenty of selection at great prices. read more

This place has great customer service. They lend me help and even assist me. Some staff also help me grab the products I need when I can't reach the top part of the inventory. The food was a little bit messy. Where I can see some dust in the area. I also saw some products fall to the ground. They should put it in the right place because it can lead to tripping someone when in a hurry. There are also some empty inventory. They should fill it immediately so customer satisfied to this place. They have a great selection where you can buy anything you need. They have a lot of different varieties of products. I placed an order for two cases of Ground Beef with James in the meat department. My order was placed 6 days before scheduled pickup. When I arrived to Sam's in Vernon Hills to pickup my order at the scheduled time (a 24 mile drive from my home), I was told "sorry we don't have it." I was very disappointed and could not understand why they could not call me and let me know there was an issue, to save me the trip. James thought they would have my order the following day and promised he would call me "no matter what, to let me know if the order was available." I have never received a call from James from the Sam's Club in Vernon Hills. I am not so angry that they had trouble getting an order but I am royally pissed off that they couldn't pick up the phone and keep me informed. This is just an average Sams Club. I am forced to shop here for my business because Costco is too far. They usually have a large variety of items, however not for all products. For example, they do not have any good hand soap for bathrooms, only 1 over priced gallon size. My suggestion to them would to be slightly more presentable with less staff doing nothing and more help on the floor. They need more products to make this a one stop shop for business owners, and they need to work on having more exclusive deals so they can get more people to drop by. read more
