Little late on my review, but I got a flat tire in May. I called Just Tires, my go-to spot for anything in LZ, due to their honesty and caring nature. Unfortunately I can't remember who offered to stay a bit later just in case I could get my flat fixed and come in to have it looked at, but for a stressful situation, that made me feel at ease. I couldn't make it in that night, but went in the next day and talked with Jay about my tires. My tire was non-reparable, and due to the wear and tear, I'd need 4 new ones. Jay was very helpful and led me to the right choice of tires for my car and current finances. The tires were ordered for the next day and it took no time at all for them to be replaced. Do not use them for service for your vehicle! I had an oil and filter change. My filter was not installed properly. The filter blew off and engine seized. They towed my car at their expense. The service manager Ray apologized to me. He filed an insurance claim and said that an adjuster would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Needless to say, over a week later no adjuster. Now the service manager Ray will not take my calls. My car only has 54,000 miles on it and has had regular oil changes at a different business. This was the first time at Just Tires Lake Zurich. Now I am stuck with payments on a car I cannot drive. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS OR YOU COULD END UP LIKE ME!!!! read more

I stopped in for a slow leak in one of my tires and was in-and-out in just over an hour and for a little over $30. The staff was able to identify two nails in my tire that were causing the leak, and patch both. They were very nice and worked hard to get the job done quickly. I didn't realize you can make an appointment online ahead of time before going in. I would probably do that next time just to make sure they have time to take me. They said no wait but upon arrival they are actually slammed with customers and no employees around to assist. Oh, and when you mention on the phone you got a quote 6 months earlier for new tires and they say no one there has worked for 6 months that's probably a sign to go elsewhere. Avoid! read more

Do not go to this location. On 1/5/2020, I brought my suv in and got two new tires and an alignment. Turns out they NEVER TIGHTENED THE LUG NUTS on the left front tire. Sales manager Steve told me they watched the cameras and it was torqued twice, but I can assure you, it was not. He then proceeded to say that sometimes lug nuts "just come loose". Sure Steve. Two of the bolts broke off and the others were all still loose because your staff didn't do their job. I have a two year old, they are lucky she wasn't in the vehicle when I was coming home from work last night and started having problems due to my tire starting to fall off. This location is a lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

I have purchased tires here for our 2012 Nissan Murano twice and my daughters Honda Pilot Touring. I have no beef with the tire work done. However, I went in this past Saturday to get an oil change. I made the mistake of not inquiring about it when I set up the appointment. I usually get my car's oil changed on both my vehicles at Nedza's in Wauconda. But due to a medical situation on their part, couldn't get it done. I had it done at Nedza's October 18, 2023 for $39.92 using synthetic 5w30 motor oil and a filter. I do it every 3000 miles. This time, I made an appointment to have it done at Just Tires figuring it would be comparable in price. When I was told it was ready, the price was $84.37. I asked about price and was told by the woman there "they use synthetic motor oil." I told her that I had it done regularly at less than $40 to which she replied, "maybe in the 1990's but not now....not using synthetic motor oil." I said "if I prove it to her, can I get it at that rate?" She scoffed at that..... You can be rest assured I won't be back here for an oil change. I have no idea what other shops charge. I have gone to Nedza's for 36 years and there is a reason I do that! They are reasonable and will have my continued business! Apparently, the name JUST TIRES is their area of expertise and oil changes no. Lesson learned. read more

I stopped in to have them change out my driver's side headlight - as the fuse had burned out. I had purchased the light bulb replacement at Auto Zone thinking I could do this easily myself. It wasn't that easy-- so I called to ask if they do this kind of thing and the guy was so nice on the phone - he told me to stop in. I got there after work and literally was in and out within five minutes and they didn't even charge me. I can honestly say I was so shocked at the act of kindness that I cried. i don't normally write reviews but I wanted to say they have earned me as a future customer 100 percent. 3 weeks ago I came in due to having nails in both my rear tires ( that Firestone in lake Zurich ) did a botched job where I originally went, since I had to go back and have them repaired at just tires ! Zach was very courteous and had my tires repaired in no time. Then just yesterday my tire pressure light went on again :( this time there was another nail found in the front passenger side I came in after work and Chris the manager had it sealed and right away and inspected all four tires himself. Customer Service was excellent. I would recommend just tires in lake Zurich to everyone. Scheduled appointment online for this location for a Thursday at 4pm. Received a call an hour before appointment saying they couldn't do it that day. I rescheduled for 11am Saturday. Went in Saturday morning and desk attendant was very short right away and had a forced smile the entire time. When I mentioned it was a 2020 Corvette, she walked outside, grabbed one of her technicians and spoke in a low voice as they walked towards my car. I followed them towards the car but couldn't hear what they were discussing. She then turned around and said "we can't do it." When I asked if the technician could help me understand why and the tech started to explain, the desk attendant started to speak over him, clearly without knowing the technical reason, but making it clear that she didn't want to do it. Yes, it's a lowered C8 corvette but I've taken my lowered camaro to other Just Tires shops in the past and had no issue. This one seemed to not want to do it. Unfortunately the shop in Wheeling which has excellent customer service doesn't have an in-ground alignment rack so I couldn't take it to them. Lake Zurich needs to take some pointers from them. read more

You don't expect this type of "service" from a chain store. We used this store chain several times before and received superior to other major chain store service. So we decided to do it again and try this newly open location what is very close to us.. We called and inquired on the pricing to remount and rebalance two tires and were quoted $20 per tire, so we brought two tires off a vehicle. When we picked them up a next day the receipt stated "two flat tires repair". Even though we brought two INFLATED tires with no new punctures or old repairs we were told what that's how their entering system work. We didn't realize what they actually OVERCHARGED us $86.40 for two flat repairs instead of $40 plus 7.5% tax as promised on the phone. When we called them again, they told us what different tire sizes as quoted differently, but when we reminded them what our size was just a small R14, they changed their story. Their manager final argument was what we got a very good deal because if we would bring any winter tires to swap that would be $100 per tire. Really? You can buy and have a new R14 size tire installed for this price. A very questionable service from a newly built tire shop. read more

I don't normally right reviews but I feel I need to warn anyone thinking of having work done at this store. They are dishonest and will try and rip you off. I went in with a nail in my tire knowing it was in the tread and not the side. They told me it was to close to the side and not repairable and continued on to try and sell me a new $278 tire. Needless to say I took my car to Discount Tire with employees who are honest and have integrity and were able to patch the tire. Not only did they patch it, but they did it for no charge. Now that's a company that knows how to earn customer loyalty. I would use extreme caution if you decide to have any tire work done at this store. read more

Do not even go here unless you want to be taken for a ride and pay a great deal more than any other tire place. Cheaper to replace the tire completely rather than having it plugged! Went to get all new tires at this new location in Hawthorn Woods/Lake Zurich. Was pleasantly surprised that they provide other services as well (maybe a different name would be good for business??). Was helped immediately and service was quick. Got all weather tires with repair/replace protection- added bonuses: free rotation every six months and help with mail-in rebate. Also got oil change- competitive price. I figured it was also time for new brakes, so they checked them for me and told me I still had plenty of life in them. I planned to spend hours and a ton of money getting my car taken care of, but was done in about an hour and I was very happy with the price. Great first impression- I'll be back! read more

Avoid at all costs.... no pun intended. I recently moved to the area, got a flat tire, and needed to replace ASAP. I went in on a Saturday morning and it was completely empty -- that should have been my indication that this isn't a good place to be that dead on a weekend. I dropped my car off and got a call with an estimate on how much the tires would be and was told that I needed my brakes replaced as well. The next day when I go into pick up my car as I'm checking out, the guy tells me my total is $200 OVER what some other guy told me on the phone the day prior when I approved them to complete the recommended services. I explained my situation and told him that I was quoted much less and if he would have told me the actual amount I would have went elsewhere instead of getting ripped off. All I got was a "sorry" and left with a lot less money in my pocket than I was expecting. If you live near here I'd suggest driving a little further to not be scammed. read more
