All the doughnuts are classic and taste phenomenal. Always fresh, consistent, and never disappoint! My apartment complex put me on ever since they started bringing in a box at least once a week. So, I have had a chance to try almost all of the doughnuts from the assortment. You can't go wrong with any of them, but my favorites are the maple bar, sugar doughnut, or any of the frosted doughnuts. They are all decent size, all soft and spongy on the inside, and have a glaze is not overpoweringly sweet on the outside. Very kind and efficient staff! Sausage and cheese croissants come out fresh made to order! They work very hard early in the morning to serve the early birds, usually the workers who have to start work at 6am or earlier and need to eat and get coffee. Bustling atmosphere in the morning. Popped by mid-day to grab some donuts, the place is no-frills, but the service is great and the quality of their donuts is great. I got some old fashioned donuts and everything tasted fresh. This one time I taught the old lady and gentleman behind the counter to use the apple pay and samsung pay feature lol. I come here for the flakey crispy, croissants. They are next level. Uhmmmm I've lived in the area for over 3 years and it wasn't until recently that my husband discovered this place. He brought home some croissant breakfast sandwiches, holy smokes! Some of the best I've had! I'm literally writing this as I came by before work to try their bagel breakfast sandwich since my husband says those were amazing as well...I know he came without me....the audacity. Walked by this cute little shop after dropping my car off at local shop for some maintenance. One of the owners (the wife) was there and she was so sweet. A real joy to talk with. Sam's has a variety of items available. I got 2 donuts and the turkey, ham, & egg croissant with cheese and jalapeños. All of it was less than $8, for great sized portions. The sandwich was delicious, and the egg looked fairly thick, and the cheese was deliciously melted and gooey! The donuts were fairly above your average. This is very much your typical mom and pop doughnut shop. It's located on the corner of Grand and Fairhaven next to a 7-11. Its a very small corner lot with limited parking. The plaza itself is a little beat up. The shop is small with limited seating. There may be 3-2 seater tables at most with even just ordering and waiting around to be a little tight in space. The shop is incredibly warm due to the small proximity mixed with the doughnuts and pastries being made in the back. You will smell like doughnuts if you're in there for even 5 minutes. They have your typical doughnuts which I was not too much of a fan. They tasted like they were made in oil that was a little old. It had that burnt, bitter after taste to it. It's very mild, though, so I'm sure for some people, it tastes like an average doughnut. The ice coffee is premade and chalked full of sugar and cream. I don't recommend. They do offer a wide assortment of sandwiches which I thought was nice. From croissants to bagels to just your average sliced bread, they offer all sorts of meats including a breakfast assortment to choose from. They're pretty tasty hot. A small little family owned donut shop. Plenty of options to choose from and all fresh. Our usual order are breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee. All sandwiches I have tried so far are made fresh to order and are absolutely delicious. The iced coffee also tastes great. Highly recommend. If you are in a hurry however try to order ahead via phone. As the sandwiches are made fresh they can take up to 15 mins to get to you, but they are absolutely worth the wait. read more

Sam's Donuts is great! A totally underrated spot to grab a doughnut, coffee, or even sandwich. I've lived across the street for 5 years and just recently discovered Sam's Donuts. It's quietly tucked away in a strip plaza, so I suppose it might be easy to miss. The parking lot isn't huge, but I've never had any issues with parking. The first thing you'll notice is the top-notch customer service. The owners are genuinely nice people that take pride in their business. They're warm, friendly, and always willing to help you right away. You might even get a few extra doughnut holes with your order...but you didn't hear it from me. The doughnut selection isn't huge. With that said, you can find the classics - bear claws, old fashions, twists, etc. A dozen doughnuts goes for around $8.50. I'm also a huge fan of their iced coffee. A large iced coffee costs only $2.99 - tastier and cheaper than Starbucks! Don't sleep on the bagels and sandwiches either. You can get a fresh, toasted sandwich or bagel for only $3.99! Interior is simple, yet tidy and clean. Seating is limited, but there's usually always one table open. Long live Sam's Donuts! read more
