This location is near the upcoming OC Streetcar line in Santa Ana -- can't wait for that to open! Ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage -- so yummy! The tater tots inside were really crispy and the side of pico de gallo (salsa) was very good. Staff was friendly and the order was prompt and they were nice enough to cut it in half for me.

Delicious Ruben. Comes with macaroni salad which in my opinion is not necessary and I really dont like it but the sandwich might just be the best entree here at 4th street market. Staff is always friendly and deli station is clean in a cool spot inside Santa Ana's 4th street market

    The Cuban Sandwich

Located inside 4th street market, this sandwich shop makes great quick meals. The Cuban Sandwich is loaded with a good amount of meat and sauce. Bonus that the baguette was not soggy at all. On the other hand, Philly cheesesteak is loaded with meat and cheese and grease lol. The bread for that sandwich did get soggy and overall felt quite heavy to eat. I do wish the sausage links in the French toast sandwich were slightly bigger, as they were on the smaller and thinner side. Maybe a sausage patty would work better for that sandwich. Definitely recommended to try out some of the sandwiches here!

Husband was craving an Italian sub which led me to finding here. Yeah for his craving, we have a new sandwich shop! I couldn't decide, flipped a coin and went with the Cuban. Love me a good Cuban and they added a twist - avocado. Ummm, how has no one else done that this?! Kiddo got the BBQ brisket + sausage sandwich. And hit food coma halfway through. Heads up when you visit, it's inside Fourth Street Market. They are located next to the bar, which is an added bonus sandwich + beer.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and my partner and I decided to finally try the food haul at 4th Street Market. Parking: We parked in a compact structure. Reading the signs, it stated they charge Mon-Fri (I forgot how much exactly) for parking while offering 2 hour free parking Sat-Sun. Ambiance/Environment: There's a lot of great food options. Plenty of seating. I found The Deli Station in the corner. Service: The cashier was quick and efficient. After I placed my order, I was handed a buzzer to notify me when my order was ready. Throughput was under 5 minutes. What I ate: I ordered the Breakfast Burrito with ham. Other than the onions, I really enjoyed it! I prefer my onions diced. It was a large sized burrito, and it was definitely fulfilling. The salsa was also good; it gave the burrito a mild kick. My favorite part was the hash brown! Pricing: The Breakfast Burrito was $11.99 before taxes. That's average price for a breakfast burrito. I'd say it's worth the price!

The Club sandwich with a side of fries

Their club sandwich is by far the best sandwich I've had in a while. I order my food without mustard, red onions, pickles, and provolone. I also get side of fries.

Fantastic Italian!! Everything was fresh and a good quality meat was used. It's located in a little market so easy to miss. If you're in the area you have to try!

    Santa Fe Chicken Salad Wrap

Search the word "sandwiches" in Santa Ana, CA, and the first restaurant that populates is The Deli Station. The place is inside 4th Street Market, a food hall, and is one of many individually-owned small businesses. After seeing other restaurants that looked equally delicious, I stuck to my decisions and ordered from a Wrap, probably the BEST DECISION I made that day. What I ordered: SANTA FE CHICKEN SALAD WRAP with MACARONI SALAD (chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, corn, tortilla strips, cheddar cheese, side of chipotle ranch) - At first glance, I was amazed by the sandwich's size. The makers did not skimp on any of the ingredients, as I saw all of them in the cut. Not only was it satisfyingly filling, but the sandwich was also beautifully presented, especially in the mid-slice. Not only was it filling, but it was BEAUTIFULLY presented. After several bites, I knew this place deserved a PERFECT FIVE STARS. The Macaroni Salad side was complemented well with the sandwich was well. I came here with my manager, and she ordered the Italian Submarine, and the presentation looked dank as well. I highly recommend this restaurant as it was SUPER DELICIOUS!

    1. The sandwich was loaded with lots of goodness! The brisket and sausage were cooked well! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes as it is located inside a food hall/market! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! 4. There is a nearby parking structure that has 2 hr free parking on the weekend! Note: You can ask for the soda to be given when the meal is ready so you don't have to carry it! Photo: Sloppy BBQ Brisket & Sausage Sandwich, Soda, and Macaroni Salad

    Ribeye Philly Cheesesteak and Brownie

Good Philly cheesesteak and quick service on a Saturday afternoon. The cheesesteak was oozing with cheese and grilled veggies. There was plenty of seating inside and outside in 4th Street's market fun patio area that has games and TVs. My only issue with the Deli Station was that they didn't provide water, but you can easily grab it from the bar next door.

Do they serve the French toast sandwich all day or just for breakfast?

Yes they do serve breakfast all day

Is this a good place for several friends to meet before a show? How's the atmosphere? I can't find any pictures of the inside of this joint or whether it's in the food court or what. Any advice on this would be helpful? Thx!

This place is located inside 4th Street Market. While it is not fancy, there is plenty of space and afterwards, go to Portola Coffee for a nice caffeine pick me up to keep you awake during the show.

I was deciding on where to snag lunch on my way to another store doing my rounds and I really wanted a sandwich. I decided to get the Turkado, some dirty Maui chips and drink. The total came to $17 and some change, not bad about the avg for the area and any lunch. The service was great, the woman who helped me was nice, and efficient, she helped me select what chips to get. Not much bantering but I do enough of that at work, so all good here. The store was clean, nice vibe, music. My order was ready in the time it took me to fill my soda cup and sit down to scroll 1 scroll thru outlook emails. Maybe 5-7 mins the woman who gave me my order asked if I wanted some secret sauce on the side, and put it in the bag. The bag felt heavy! The sub was huge! Probably 8inches bread was nice and springy, there was enough lettuce, tomato and sauces on it. I love the sunflower seeds, gives it a nice little crunch. The meat is more of a very thin piled high but there is a lot of it! I like how the sub is assembled meat, cheese, toppings sauce, it seems to hold together nicely.

This review covers my experience across multiple locations, including Harbor Boulevard in Costa…read moreMesa and Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach. When I first started coming to Board and Brew, I would have given it a solid five stars, but my perspective has shifted after six years of exploring other local options in the county. The Evolution of the Experience: * Ingredients: While the food is definitely better than a pre-made deli sandwich from a grocery store, it isn't exactly top-tier. The bread and meat are good, but as you try more specialized places, you realize these are fairly standard. * The Famous Sauce: Their signature sauce is tasty, but it feels like it contains a high amount of monosodium glutamate (MSG). MSG is a neuro-exciter that can make people feel overstimulated or unwell after eating it, and it feels particularly intense in this recipe. * Consistency: Both the Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa locations were great initially, but they now feel more like a solid, middle-of-the-road option. The Best Use Case: * Catering & Events: Even with a three-star rating, this is absolutely the place I would go if I needed catering for a birthday party or a large event. Their pricing and preparation for bulk orders are hard to beat. Final Thoughts: If Yelp allowed half-stars, I'd probably give this a 3.5. It's a reliable, solid sandwich shop, but the ingredient quality and the intensity of the MSG in the sauce keep it from being a five-star favorite for me anymore. Edit: The owner replied to my comment about how their food is high quality, but 6 years of taste testing says otherwise. While you may not add pure MSG crystals to your sauce, it still contains MSG.It is misleading to claim "No MSG" or "High Quality" when the sauce relies on ingredients that are chemically identical to it. For instance: Tomatoes and Tomato Paste: These are among the highest natural sources of free glutamate. If the recipe uses tomato paste--as many copycats do--it will test positive for MSG. Soy Sauce & Worcestershire Sauce: Both frequently cited in recipes for this sauce, these contain naturally occurring MSG through fermentation or hydrolysis. Nutritional Yeast: Often used to provide a savory flavor, it naturally contains high levels of glutamate.Hydrolyzed Proteins: Ingredients like "hydrolyzed vegetable protein" (HVP) or "yeast extract" are processed specifically to release glutamates. Legally, a company might say they "don't use MSG" if they don't add the pure additive, but that is a technicality. MSG is linked to various health issues for sensitive individuals, and just because many consider it "safe" doesn't mean it's healthy or non-harmful. If the food is truly "high quality," why rely on these additives to create flavor? Best Wishes

It's a pulled chicken sandwich that is absolutely delicious--honestly, it's the most unique "actual" sandwich you can get in the area. The Perfect Order: * The Build: You have to get it on Dutch Crunch bread with no tomato. * The Flavor: The Dutch Crunch is amazing, especially with the honey on it. The sandwich itself is almost like a chicken sloppy joe--it's bomb. * The Perks: I love that they still include those little caramel apple suckers with the order. It's a signature touch that I hope they never stop doing. * Rewards: Their point system is very favorable. I frequently get free drinks, chips, or discounts on my sandwiches. The Critiques: * Ingredients: Like a few other spots, this one makes me feel a bit "off" afterward. Since the meat is tossed in sauce and they add more to the bread, I suspect there might be some MSG involved. * Pricing: Things are getting expensive across the board, and I feel like most places--this one included--are overcharging by about $3. Five stars would only be achievable if the pricing was more reasonable. Final Thoughts: Despite the price and the "food coma" afterward, the #111 is too good to pass up. It's a solid four-star experience every time.
