I ordered my food around 1PM. I got a message from them it is busy time so my food will be arriving at 2:24. I am easy... it is okay. But 2:30 came no food. I called. I was informed the driver is on the way. 2:40, nothing. I called again. The driver came back because he got lost. I am only .8 miles from Ricco. unbelievable. Another driver picked up my order. Ordered a large pizza and some wings. Long story short I found 2 long pieces of hair baked into 2 different slices. I called to speak to manager before I left the review to give them an opportunity to fix it. The manager at first asked me if I was sure it didn't come from my home. Visited for a quick lunch & they rocked it! Large menu variety, I skipped pizza and got a salad and fries - fries were perfectly crispy and warm while the salad was crisp and refreshing (and a very good size)! My coworkers got subs and wraps which all looked just as good. It seemed like it was family run and very few people working midday on a weekday, but service was fast regardless. We seated ourselves and were taken care of quickly by a friendly younger man. It might have transitioned owners recently, as indicated by other reviews, but I didn't notice any growing pains and would return again if looking for a quick and yummy bite. :) read more

I always get fantastic service every time I visit this hidden gem in Stafford for a meal. The restaurant is always clean,the staff friendly and attentive, and the food tasty and reasonably priced. I've never had to wait for a table, and the food always comes out fast and piping hot. The signage is named differently on the marquee than the door, but that makes no difference to me. PLENTY of parking adds to the list of pluses for Ricco's. read more

We came in on a whim as it's close to where we were staying with friends. We got two pizza's and a salad to go. Both pizza's were well received - the white ricotta and the Washington football pizza that is more or less a Hawaiian pizza. I was only bummed I didn't realize there was a deal for two pizzas with desserts and drinks as it would have been a better deal than what we ordered. The place isn't particularly nice inside. It's a shame because it's right across the street from our house and by far is the easiest and quickest place to get to. But after several bad meals there we will no longer go to this place anymore. So disappointed. We just dropped $90 for a delivery of food that was surprisingly subpar. The mozzarella sticks looked good but the cheese came out of each breaded shell with one bite. Ricco's is probably the BEST of the 3 Italian joints to have occupied this particular storefront since it opened a few years ago! The pizzas we ordered were INCREDIBLE! The Buffalo chicken pizza was amazing a must recommend. The Stromboli was made really well, I loved the way it was cooked but I would opt for different toppings inside next time. Huge serving size. The grilled chicken sub with added on grilled onion and green peppers was probably my favorite but the Buffalo chicken pizza was a really close second. The service was really good. If you're craving Indian in Stafford, keep looking; Every rendition of what they presented was the furthest thing from its name that I can think of. The butter chicken was a ridiculously small portion of cubes of grisly chicken in a vodka cream sauce? The Naan was pizza dough with some oregano. The Rice abomination was some long grained pilaf akin to Mediterranean cuisine combined in the same container with a warm salad that had olives, tomatoes, harissa as a dressing and some spicy garlic sauce that belongs more on shawarma then anywhere near an Indian dish. Upon my complaints I was offered a credit even though I would fully return the food due to it being absolutely inedible which I was denied a refund, as I did not wish to patronize this business any longer. read more

We've lived in the neighborhood of Forest View Estates in the Poplar and Heflin area for about 6 years and were excited to try your food. Sadly, our favorite chicken parmesan at Italian restaurants was not a good experience at all with your establishment. Most of the CHICKEN STRIPS (yes...chicken strips not a fried yummy breast) were burnt and why would you either cut up the chicken breast after you deep fry it or even use chicken strips? I make a way better homemade parm with full chicken breasts fried at home. The spaghetti was dry...not enough sauce, the garlic bread in the foil was awful and the mozzarella sticks were frozen. Not good at all. The only thing that was halfway edible was the Fettucini alfredo. Even then RAO has a way better jar version of alfredo sauce. Last night we had reservations for our favorite Italian restaurant at Springfield Mall, "Maggiano's". Perhaps the owner of Ricco's should take a drive up there and see how real good Italian food is made. From the experience we had ordering takeout, this restaurant has zero soul or pride. Sad... SO to continue this bad experience I reached out to the owner regarding the quality and even sent a picture and after a couple of email exchanges, his take on the situation was that you will NOT get the same quality of food with takeout as you get dining in. REALLY? Did an owner of a restaurant actually say that to a paying customer? Yes he did. I can attach the email exchage if necessary. Anyway, don't do ANY kind of takeout here because as the owner said to me and I quote, "You will not get the same quality in take out as you get as the restaurant.". Oh, and if you want dry overcooked spaghetti, crap garlic bread (hard to mess up at all, but they did), burnt chicken strips that they are selling as Chicken Parmesan, frozen mozzarella sticks from Walmart and a crap attitude from the owner, this is the place for you! The owner was also bragging that they were still in business, but the last time I checked it was "formerly named Paul's (sign still on the building) and it changed to Ricco's on the sign off of the street. Probably changed the name because their food SUCKS!! Don't go here at all for quality food of any kind or even mediocre at that. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. The owner Faizan Casim (obviously NOT Italian) doesn't care so why should you spend your money here? Period. read more

I wish they would go back to making pizza like it was when it was Pi's place. I agree the dough is all wrong and more like Papa John's, it's too thick. The pizza I received had way too much cheese and the toppings were cut too big and there was also to many of the. Less is more in my opinion. I'm from NY, so I'm used to a thin NY style pizza. What I got was a failure of NY style crust that was dressed like it was from Chicago. Call Mindy and ask for help, please. Pi's certainly had the best pizza in Stafford hands down. read more
