I contacted The plastic surgery institute to book a consultation with Dr. Knotts. They didn't have any apts available before I was leaving town for three weeks but they said they'd tried to squeeze me in. I was so excited when they called me back a couple of days later to say I could come in early the next morning. All of the staff were kind and professional at the office. Dr. Knotts is really easy to talk to and answers all of your questions thoroughly and offers more information you may have forgotten to ask about. He was kind but realistic when describing the procedures and what outcomes could be established. He also had a good sense of humor which put me at ease. I didn't feel rushed and I felt heard and understood. I decided not to do all the lipo I had initially asked about but decided to just go with the breast reduction and he was very supportive. I never felt pressured or like he was trying to upsell me. He genuinely cared and wanted me to get what I wanted/needed. The day of my surgery was an early Monday morning he was still very kind and reassuring. The nurse and anesthesiologist at Sandia surgery center were also very nice, funny and professional. I really felt safe and taken care of. Before I knew it, the surgery was over and I groggily peered down at my new small boobies they looked great even then. My post op visit was short and sweet bc I didn't really have any questions and everything looked perfect! Every steps of the way Dr. Knotts has really made time and space for me to talk or ask as many questions as I needed to. His work is beautiful! I had asked for something specific preop that I didn't think was going to be possible but he nailed it! I looked at tons of other before and after photos of different surgeons around the country and I have seen very very few as good as my results. I went through many reviews of Dr Knotts on various sites and I don't think I ever found a bad one. Everyone seems to love him and his work, myself included. I really cannot recommend him enough. If I ever choose to do any other procedure again I will surely come back to Dr. Knotts. I'm looking forward to my next post op apt when I'd usually be dreading any Dr apt! I think that says it all.

Antonio Marquez Was the provider that reviewed the x rays and gave us his opinion in recommendations. He was friendly and listened to our concerns. Is he made sure that we had no questions. This center is really nice and clean. They were not very busy so there was not a lot of wasted time like we would experience at the hospital on lomas boulevard Is an albuquerque. The only downside is that's a long drive to get here.

She determined my problem is likely with my back and squeezed me in to see the spine surgeon at UNM within 1 month. I know it would have been a 6 month wait to see him, had she not intervened. I am so grateful and am counting my lucky stars that my niece recommended her.

The doctors and nurses were truly outstanding. However, this week we took our neighbor to the ER for broken toes and a broken foot. We had to wait 7 or 8 hours to get care because they were short staffed. More people are using this center and they need to make sure that they have the staff to care for them.

The space is large, new and simply clean and in order. Staff seemed more people-oriented and it felt less hustle and bustle like it was at the main UNM Hospital. What I appreciated the most was....they had top notch staff! I went to visit a Urogynocologist specialist and...the specialist took the time to talk to me without rush. Very very good bedside manner...and even proactively helped me with some issues that I didn't even know I had! I also saw that my ENT surgeon and endocrinologist also moved from UNM Hospital to this center. They are top notch, quality staff! This really made me think that moving to live in Rio Rancho / Bernanillo is a real possiblity for me (never thought about it in the past as I have always thought to best live near UNM Hospital itself). The only thing is..just like any NM healthcare places, the waitlist seemed a little long. But once you are an established patient with them, the quality of service and follow up from staff is simply top notch and I'm very happy with my experiences there!

I had to drive an hour here and if I hadn't been able to get the work done, that would've been a lot of wasted time. My extraction itself went without a hitch and my healing time has been minimal.
