I finally decide to leave and not a "I am sorry" from any of the 3 ladies in reception. They charge a $100 deposit because the doctor values his time, but he clearly doesn't value the time of his patients. Good thing there are tons of good doctors who can help with my issue. read more

My Blepharoplasty Experience with Dr. Samuel Salcedo: My experience with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) turned into an absolute nightmare. If you are considering any kind of facial surgery -- especially eye-related procedures -- I strongly recommend staying away from Dr. Samuel Salcedo. He performed a lower eyelid (blepharoplasty) on me in early 2024. After the surgery, I developed a condition known as ectropion, where the lower eyelids begin to droop and the eyes no longer close properly. According to my oculoplastic surgeons, this was caused by the removal of too much skin from my lower eyelids. As a result, I've been forced to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on corrective procedures with specialized oculoplastic surgeons in an attempt to fix the damage. The physical and emotional toll has been overwhelming. While you may have a different experience with other types of procedures he performs, based on my outcome, it's clear to me that Dr. Salcedo lacks the necessary expertise in facial and eye surgery. I had liposuction 360 and the fat added to my hips, not so much a BBL, but more for shape. It's been almost 6 months since I had the surgery, and I will tell you that when Dr Salcedo says to trust the healing process, he is not lying! I had no bruising, but my body was holding onto swelling for about 2-3 months, even with fajas and lymphatic drainage. Everyone heals differently. Now it's all gone, and my shape is incredible - better than I even anticipated. From SpongeBob to a glass Coke bottle - seriously!!! It went great from consultation to surgery and my after surgery visits. His care coordinator was patient and went through all of the financing options with me over and over again without complaint because it was a little overwhelming for me dealing. One visit after surgery his nurse Michelle gave me an IV after I mentioned I wasn't doing well with my hydration (extra fee of course, but worth every penny), and I didn't even feel the needle go in (I think this is worth mentioning since I hate needles). The staff are amazing and always so sweet. When I come in or call on the phone, they know who I am and talk to me. The process was scary, since it's surgery and all, but Dr Salcedo made me feel like I was in good hands. I met with his anesthesiologist, Dr Nguyen, on my surgery day and was reassured that I was in the greatest of care. I am beyond disappointed and unsatisfied Sammuel Salcedos' work and attitude. I had a procedure done that was supposed to fix insecurities with my body that I was not happy with. I paid over 10k for this procedure and not only I expected the result I asked for, he's still want me to pay additional money for expectations he failed to meet. He nurse mentioned the day of the revision pre-op appointment that "he was having a bad day". That is unfortunate but quite honestly it's not my problem. I am a customer paying over 10k. The result I received is not the result I was promised, nor is it the result I paid for! It's unacceptable. Stating that he said "he just didn't have time" is unacceptable. As the doctor. He should have quoted the time he needed. Instead I'm left with a body that I am more unsatisfied with than I was before my surgery. On top of that, When I reached out to him the only response he gave was "to call the office". Even my mother who had work done at the same time is unsatisfied and uneven! Let me start off by saying that Dr. Salcedo is a miracle worker and beyond amazing!!! I had been diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2018. After chemotherapy, removal of the tumor, and extensive rounds of radiation my breasts were very different in size and deflated. I knew I needed breast reduction surgery. I came to Dr. Salcedo for a consultation and he immeadiatley made me feel at ease and comfortable. He explained the whole process to me and also informed me of complications that may arise due to my history. I decided to go ahead with the surgery and knew I had found the right surgeon for me. I had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago and could not be happier. Everyone close to me is amazed at how fantastic everything looks and can not believe that it turned out so well. Dr. Salcedo takes his time whenever I meet with him. I never feel rushed or that I can not get all my questions answered. His staff is very caring as well. After 20+ years of researching, contemplating, and living my life, I was finally at a point that having a cosmetic procedure was an actual real possibility. I began researching surgeons, including referrals from others who had breast augmentation (BA). After narrowing down my search, I began to compare the results posted in the gallery of each surgeon knowing these would be the "BEST" they had performed. I found very visible flaws in ALL the other surgeons photos but Dr. Salcedo had near perfect results. I scheduled my consult and was completely blown away. Dr. Salcedo has the BEST staff and after 5 minutes of talking with him, I knew he was the one. I told him what I was looking to achieve. He looked at my body and told me that I really looked great for my age (48) and for having 3 babies. He then picked out 5 different sizes of implants for me to try. He told me that I would know the size I wanted when I saw it; that it was something that I would just "know". He was right. I discussed having some lipo done on my thighs and he was completely honest by telling me he didn't work on thighs. He said they are extremely difficult and it wasn't something he worked on. He did tell me they had a different surgeon there and he actually went to get him so I could decide if I wanted that done at the same time. (I opted out as the procedures couldn't be done at the same time) I decided on a breast lift with implant and fat grafting. The fat graft included lipo of my upper and lower abdomen plus I added liponof my flanks for shape and scheduled my BA procedure that day. Dr. Salcedo was very informative at my pre-op appt. He told me what he was going to do and told my husband what I was going to need for my post-op care. Surgery day!!! The surgery center is located in the same building. The staff was SUPER AWESOME!! From the 1 on 1 nurse, to the anesthesiologist, the surgery staff...they were all amazing!! I am 1 month post-op and cannot believe how Dr. Salcedo gave me exactly what I wanted but WAY better!! I had minimal pain, minimal bruising and recovery has been uneventful to date. I have my 1 month post-op appointment tomorrow and can't wait to see the before & after pics to see the transformation thus far. This was the very best decision I could have made. I am 62 and had a breast reduction and lift. He also did some lipo on my stomach and sides. Everything turned out great! Dr. Salcedo was very professional and explained everything. He takes his time and never makes you feel rushed. He follows up with you closely for weeks after surgery. For those older women who may have a tad of incontinence, the lipo completely corrected it.
