We went to food truck wednesdays and it is absolute chaos. It felt like a silver sneakers mixer, the food trucks were underwhelming and the bar lines were out of control long for your "free drink" --they are making money and learning how to do it. Won't be back for that.

For years, we enjoyed this place for their unparalleled Sunday brunch. At some point they closed that down and now they have turned into a wonderful concert venue with fabulous concerts! Tonight I am here with a party of 10 to enjoy Terry Sylvester, one of my favorite rock and rollers, and various other celebrated artists. We started out with a light buffet which was very nice and we are looking forward to the rest of an amazing evening!

We were there for a Christmas party. It was decorated beautifully in the lobby. We found our room easily and everything went like clockwork. The appetizers were good and plentiful. The bar was staffed well and you never had to wait long for a drink. There was a sit down salad service and the salads tasted very fresh. The rest of the meal was a buffet with lots of good choices and restocked promptly. There was a roast beef carving station with your choice of how you wanted it cooked. The servers at the table were great and catered to our needs quickly. The room was bright and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend Samuel's Grand Manor for any event!

I attended an event for a local nonprofit at Samuel's. as far as the venue went, the building was satisfactory, the decorations were nice, and the landscaping was in really good shape. The food however was not the greatest. Our meal consisted of fried chicken, some kind of steak, A baked potato and some green beans. The chicken and baked potato were decent. The steak on the other hand was one of the saltiest pieces of meat I have ever had. The rub was extremely salty and peppery. The dessert was some kind of a Claire with chocolate mousse on the inside and it was very good!

This place is extremely gorgeous when you walk in. Some amazing art pieces and Royal decor will have you gazing at it all. I came here a few times for banquets and always seem to make my way to the bathroom because of how perfect the lighting is for selfies...that's right, selfies looool. The food here was okay. I've had better and I've had worse. The ratings boost on this stat is definitely for the decor of the venue.

This place is the definition of mediocrity. Service was garbage and the waiter had a terrible attitude. As a waiter myself, there were major flaws in his service and it made me upset. Food took way too long to come out. Tastes like a TV dinner even though I paid $40. It was a buttery concoction of food, that looked like it was prepared by Neanderthals... I asked for a soda and they gave me a 6 oz glass. Sound system is garbage, because I couldn't here the speech that I was there to hear.a

Ask the Community - Samuel's Grande Manor

Has anyone had the Thanksgiving buffet here? I went to the website and it did not say how much it was (will be one adult and a 9 year old). Is it worth going or should I go somewhere else? Recommendations please!

I was wondering the same. Their food hasn't been the same in years. We stopped going to brunch on Sundays because the food was notably from the weddings the night before.

I am amazed that the space was an old Sears. The space was beautifully designed, well thought out and is now a destination instead of turning into another abandoned building. In addition to the event center attached is the BFLO store, a hair salon, Chruscicki Bakery, Simply Pierogi and Sto Lat. The space itself is perfect for a wedding or your next big event. It is a large open and airy room with darker wood floors, light walls and furniture and gorgeous crystal chandelier and snowflake accent lighting. The interior design is very modern and elegant with touches of Buffalo subtly added in. Great lighting, tons of parking and a huge bar. To the back of the room are doors which take you to a hallway that connects to the other businesses in the complex. The hallway is large enough to accommodate mingling of overflow guests from the event center.

The bottom layer held delicate, crust-less, savory finger sandwiches, 4 for each of us, all very tasty. On the second level were delicious scones and there were three spreads offered to enhance their flavor - lemony butter, what may have been clotted cream (not sure), and a fruity jam. On the top tier there were sweet cookies and cakes. The room was decorated with old fashioned country curtains, decorative wall paper, and fancy table cloths - a perfect back drop for this experience. The servers were attentive, prompt and friendly. It was what I expected and it didn't disappoint!

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed in our overall experience. Each guest is given a sheet of paper where you can select 3 teas. The server didn't explain this was per person so we were confused thinking it was 3 per table. The biggest disappointment for us is that we were given tea bags, which in my opinion is not appropriate for an experience of afternoon tea and really cheapened the experience. As an avid tea drinker, I personally was expecting at least loose tea. We were given one hot tea pot for the table and had to constantly ask for refills until towards the end when the server gave us a second pot. It was a bit dangerous for us trying to pass one kettle around the table of four people as well. They also don't give you any iced water to drink on the side which was disappointing. In addition, no one came to clean out or change out your tea cup when you were moving on to drink the next tea. So I ended having a taste of earl grey in the chamomile tea. For the 3rd tea, I ended up dumping some of it out on my plate and wiping with my napkin. Eek! We did however, enjoy the food. They present you with a 3 tiered tray with a variety of finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries and jam/butter. We all thought the finger sandwiches, scones and desserts were delicious. The sandwich were tasty, but a bit tiny and definitely needed more filling. Overall, I may come back for the food but I was disappointed in the use of tea bags and the inattentive service.

I needed just ten white wooden chairs which I was assured I would have no problem. Got the quote and sent all the paperwork back. Was told I had not signed the quote (this was handwritten and scanned, so I missed the signature line however I signed everything else) Was told that they'd send me a docusign agreement via email. They also told me that even if I didn't get the email to sign that I could sign when I picked up the chairs. It never came through but I wasn't worried. Finally it arrived in email (spam) and it was not docu sign but another contract to print and sign. I printed and signed and scanned it and emailed to speed up the process. At this point I had already been charged the full amount on my card and had sent in all the paperwork sent to me. All I had to do was pick up. Three days before my event they called me to say they did not have the chairs I paid for. They told me they hadn't held them for me because they didn't have my signature. I told them I had sent in everything and have a voicemail that says "don't worry if you can't get the quote signed, we can do it on Friday when you pick up"-they had no response other than sorry nothing we can do, we don't have the chairs. They asked if I wanted black and I did no I specifically wanted white. Asked if I wanted plastic and I said no I wanted white. (Note-I started the process weeks before needing the chairs and did everything they asked. I was even told sometimes documents go to spam or don't go through but don't worry.) Finally she tells me "well let me see what I can do I'll call you back in a few minutes"-she never calls back. In the meantime I called another place and was able to book what I needed over the phone with no issues. I called All season back and said forget it and was told "we can check our Rochester store"-why wasn't that the first option I was given???? Not only did she not call me back within a few minutes, but she clearly wasn't trying to fix the problem. I have a feeling they got a bigger order and decided my ten chairs wasn't important. Definitely don't recommend, horrible customer service.
