Last week I finally got to attend an event I always wanted to see, Dueling Pianos! I was able to reserve a spot for 3 of us no problem on Open Table . When I got there last week, there was a line formed outside the entrance and I was brought back to the days of Club Infinity/Howdy's. It was always the place to be. Once I got inside, l I paid the man at the door $10 for admission (oddly enough he was not wearing a mask, not sure if he had a health reason as to why one wasn't worn ) and then they seated me at a table not far from "the stage" (see what I did there?) The food menu is pretty standard bar fare and the drinks are not of the classy variety (basic domestic beer, wine is Barefoot brand, etc) . I ordered a couple spiked seltzer's and a chicken sandwich ..... not too shabby but not groundbreaking. Service was a bit slow and impersonal, but at a concert venue, that's not surprising. The sound quality and view of the show was great . I'm happy to be able to see live entertainment again and have it be affordable too. Attended a Pre-Soft Opening. This is a great venue for a variety of entertainment. It has a large dance floor surrounded by a short wall to separate it from the seating area. There is also a large stage that is raised quite a bit so entertainment is clearly visible from anywhere in the stage area. Seating in the stage area is at high top tables, countertops with stools, comfortable arm chairs and stools at the bar. The front part of the building has normal dinner style tables and chairs. The bar is huge, starts in the front dining area and continues in an L shape back to the stage/dancefloor area. On this visit the beer taps were not functional yet but they said that when the taps are operational, besides by the glass, pitchers will be available. A variety of bottled beer is available by the bottle or by the 6 bottle bucket. They have a full kitchen and will eventually be serving food. They will have regular hours: Tuesday & Wednesday 5pm - 12am and Thursday thru Saturday 5pm - 2am in addition to special events which will be posted on social media and their website thestagewny.com They have plenty of free parking in front and behind the building. There will be a variety types of music and entertainment. Rock, Country, Tribute Bands, Comedians, etc. I plan to spend a lot of time here. read more

My friend and I came here because I was excited about their announcement for all you can eat crab legs. I feel like they may not have been prepared for the crowd this would draw. I ordered the all you can eat crab legs which came with potatoes, corn and a salad, and an order of crab cakes for an appetizer. My friend ordered the garlic parmesan wings and the taco logs. We waited over an hour before we could get anything. Our waitress Jaimie was very nice and kept coming to us very apologetic and made sure we were at least constantly served with our drink orders. The crab cakes were made in a muffin pan. You can tell by their shape and the way they were made. They were pretty meaty but lacked flavor. The taco logs were really good! They came with 5 logs, and just like pizza logs, they were tacos in an egg roll casing. The crab legs came out with 2 clusters, baby potatoes, and a small cob of corn. The crab legs were cold and at $40 for all you can eat I was hoping I would start off with at least a pound. The garlic parm wings lacked flavor and were not done. Jaimie took them off of our bill but stated the kitchen staff felt bad so they made another batch. Second time around they were better but we wouldn't order chicken again. As time went on a lot of people started leaving because service was taking too long. I think the staff took time out to regroup and figure out what may not have been working because things got better as the night went on. By the time I got my second round of crab legs there were 5 clusters on the tray and they were hot and made to perfection. Jaimie immediately put another order in so it would be ready by the time I finished. Just as I was done I had enough time to wash my hands and come back to the table with another tray of 5 hot clusters. The venue itself is a nice size. There is a lot of seating and a nice stage. There was a performer who was really good. The employees did wear masks but social distancing wasn't seriously enforced based on how the tables were set up. I would possibly try them again but not when they have a special such as all you can eat crab. I feel like their kitchen may not be big enough to host such a large venue. Just before the quarantine, The Stage hosted a pre-soft opening. I did not get to attend but Frank M. has that covered! I'm hanging on to a star until I can have the full experience of attending an event there when things get back to normal(ish). But I really wanted to write a review for what they have been doing during the quarantine. They started partnering with Weidner BBQ to offer chicken BBQ dinners to go on Thursdays. I've been a big fan of Weidner BBQ's chicken since my step-mom started getting catering from there for our family Christmas party. I was bummed to learn that you can only get their chicken of their truck or at an event. So I was excited when I learned of this ongoing BBQ event at the Stage. Then, this past Saturday, The Stage added BBQ Rib dinners on Saturdays along with the Weidner chicken dinner. The half rack of ribs is from The Stage's menu and comes with the same salt potatoes and delicious Coleslaw as the Weidner BBQ chicken dinner.The chicken comes with a role and the ribs come with cornbread. I added an ear of roasted corn to my dinner as well. Corn was available roasted or by the ear if you preferred and a few other produce items were also available. I think there was strawberries and watermelon. They also had some drink specials and popcorn. The system for pick up was great. It was a long line but moved along very efficiently. You enter off of Main Street, the line loops around the back parking lot, then runs along the side of the building. At the first stop you place your order and pay and then pick up your order at the end. Everyone working was super friendly. I can't wait to check this place out for an event once they can open. In the meantime, I'm enjoying what they have been doing. They plan to continue the Weidner BBQ on Thursdays and Saturdays though-out the summer with the Stage's BBQ Ribs available on Saturdays. read more

This place is disgusting. The hag that works the register was smoking INSIDE THE ENTRYWAY TO THE PLACE when we pulled up. Then after we park we go inside and walk through her cloud of smoke and she is now at the register and we walk in and say Hi and hand her the entry fee and she hastily asks for my 27 yr old daughters ID. This was just to walk in the place, we weren't at the bar or ordering drinks, nor were we going to. We were going there to do line dancing for our VERY FIRST TIME. We had been so looking forward to it and the hag starts yelling at my daughter telling her she has to show ID because "I am asking for it and you are entering a bar and it's up to me." As if she has a God complex. My daughter IS very young looking and we were not surprised she got carded, but the way in which this hag conducted herself was beyond rude. She made my daughter feel like crap and ends up telling us we can't come in and we should leave all because she says she doesnt like our attitude JUST because we asked why she had to show ID. The employee is a taller, dirty blonde, kind of heavy set 50 something yr old female who smokes and has a nasty personality and is ugly inside and out! She could have made it fun and made us feel welcome but she probably just didn't want her husband seeing my beautiful daughter. There's no other reason she would have been so nasty so fast. My friends and I went to the stage on St Patrick's Day in the afternoon to listen to a local guitar player/singer. We didn't have a reservation but the hostess quickly set us at ease and offered us a great table. Our waiter, Cole, made our visit extra special with his witty sense of humor and his attentiveness to our requests. The nachos and cheese were excellent. We asked for fries with gravy. No A/C last Thurs 6/ 14/24. So I am won't be going again until I hear from friends about their A/C working.

Attended while watching a band, the band was great, but the service sucked....we waited almost 3 hours after ordering until we just asked for the bill because we couldn't wait any longer...understanding covid limitations and trying to be sympathetic to their situation....but waiting 3 hours after placing an order and still not getting our food is a little crazy.....and the staff was very rude when we just asked for our bill at the end of the night without ever getting our food....terrible experience and I will NOT be attending again. I'll start off by saying that this is a great place to grab a beer and wings when watching a Bills game. The back room is massive with adequate seating - no need to worry about lack of social distancing here. The games are projected onto a large screen at the end of the room, so you'll get a great view regardless of where you seat. I went on a Sunday afternoon (shocker) when they had 50-cent wings, so I had to take advantage. I ordered myself the cajun wings - HOLY COW they were delicious! No need to add any blue cheese to these babies. The wings came out nice and hot and they weren't too moist either. The texture was perfect. Everyone else who ordered wings were very pleased with their food. One of our friends also ordered the pizza logs - they looked delicious and it's he annihilated that dish (I think he liked it :p ). I certainly hope the pandemic ends soon so I can return for a concert. This would be a terrific venue for large group gatherings, whether it's for a birthday, watching a game (yes, even the sabres) or to catch a live music performance. I was there for a fundraising event for a family member hurt in an accident. They rented us the place for a very fair fee and it was exclusive to our group from 3-7PM. I can't speak to the food as I did not have any, but I can say the space is great for a large event, and the bartenders on duty were on top of their game. Fast service for everyone, kept a whole lot of bar tabs organized, and were just really pleasant. Sure, I know everyone likes the extra tips around holiday time, but you have to figure that somewhere there got off work at 5 AM the day before and here they are setting up at 2 PM the next day with a smile. Anyway, the event was a big success, but part of the success is good attitudes from the staff, and I'm really glad I got to see this place. Our server forgot 2 of our 8 meals and while the food was flavored nicely, it was not even close to being warm. Terrible service, we were here for a private event that was to run from 2-4. We arrived early and had pre paid for tickets prior. We ordered food before 2pm and it did not arrive until 3:15, upon arrival both items ordered were COLD and one was completely inedible. The servers were impossible to find/get help from and i have never met such rude bartenders in my life. We made a reservation for a table of 6 to see Almost Queen . The lady on the phone said I should pre- pay for the tickets to make sure my table was held because they anticipated a sold out show. When we got to the door and gave them the reservation, they told us if we wanted a table it would be an additional $50! When we told them this was never discussed and whoever I spoke with on the phone said my ticket payment would secure the table - the guy taking payments basically told me too bad , if I don't want the table , someone else would. This is the second time I've been to the stage for a band since Covid and they have price gouged us both times. Ok so let me start by saying I've had a few bad experiences before I'm posting this. So I'm not happy paying $5 for a domestic bottle but that's not what this post is about. It's about the food. An earlier visit we had nachos that were horrible from the gross cheese to whatever meat was on it. Bad chicken sandwich. Crab legs were ok. This time Cajun wings tasted like charcoal. We also had quesadilla which was obviously put together, nuked and put on plate all soggy. How hard is it to put in a pan and Crisp up... Apparently too difficult for their cooks. We went for the all you can eat crab legs on a Friday night. Took about 45 minutes for our food to come out. Not sure why they didn't bring our salads until 35 min of sitting there. Two of my friends never got their food and ended up getting it 10-20 min after all of us were already eating. Chicken tenders were cold and 20 wings were mostly all drums which was strange. The crab was just okay. The first round came out just warm. My friends one cluster came out still frozen. The refills for the most part were pretty hot. The service was poor. Our server would come and get one drink order and then walk away without seeing if anyone else needed anything. We were constantly having to flag her down. She was a nice girl, maybe just overwhelmed which is not all her fault. However, she made sure to let me know that her manager didn't let her auto gratuity our table, but she "believed in the greater good". I took it as she didn't think we were going to tip her.
