SO THEY had me make my payment over the phone because after 8pm you can't order UNLESS you pay over the phone I paid like they asked they called me back 20 minutes after when I was already on my way there and said sorry we can't make your food any more ever after I paid the only reason you guys are still even up and running is because of the military coming to eat because Hanford is so small and doesn't have that many restaurants other then THAT you guys are rude and expensive and food isn't that great just had no where else to go. The crazy girl roll is what's up!!!! Its lightly fried on the outside and on the inside has spicy tuna, cream cheese, avocado and tempura shrimp with the spicy mayo and itsdeliciousness!!! The fam and I liked it best!!!!! The crunch roll and the baked salmon rolL was good, but again the crazy girl was on point. We didn't venture out too much with the other rolls as some of my fam is not used to sushi but I wanted them to try something new today. My sister had the lunch special with rice, tempura veggies, salad, teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken. She liked her meal a lot and we all shared the rolls and had a sample from her plate. The teriyaki chicken to me was just OK, but I wish the chicken was a little more moist / tender but the sesame chicken was pretty good. I think it needs a little more sauce or a little more crunch to the battered chicken. Service was ok as the waitress was easily distracted by things behind the host desk and it took like 15 min for her to remember to get my sisters dressing, extra napkins and straws .... it wasn't that busy in their but nevertheless there was some delays in service. We sat at a both near the sushi bar and the table with the pointed corners were sharp and dug in as one slid into the booth..... a square table inn a curved booth is not safe or practical. Be aware of that one spot. ThIs establishments was clean, with friendly staff and 2 hr parking street side. Update 02/14/2020: today was all about the crazy girl rolls!!!! Sushi joint in downtown Hanford with a south of the border twist. Pretty good sushi for this area. Tasted fresh and service was okay. The two rolls I had were tasty and well prepared. The seaweed salad was all seaweed, fresh and delicious. Didn't have lettuce or any fillers. I also had the Mexican miso soup which surprisingly was very good. It was a cross between chicken tortilla soup and miso soup. Probably would only get miso soup next time but I'm glad I had it like this. No complains and tasty. Service was decent at best. Only 5 other tables had customers but it seemed as my lady was doing most of the work serving them and cleaning them after they were done. My water never got refilled as she never offered or came around. I also got up to get a fork which the sushi cook was happy to acquire for me. Visiting from out of town and went in about 6:30 On a Wednesday. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered drinks, there is a nice selection, and our food. My son and I got two of the special rolls each, they were huge and very delicious. The psycho roll in particular was fantastic. Tiger Roll was good and fresh. Crunch roll was ok, not my favorite. My parents both got a bento box, lots of food and a good variety. It was a bit pricey, almost $150 for 4 of us but it was delicious. The music was a bit too loud for the small space , but other than that it was a great experience. Would love to visit again. read more

COVID-19 phase: My mother ordered the spicy jalapeño crab roll , garlic edamame, baked mussels and the firecracker roll. The worker said it would be ready shortly. We went to get it. The restaurant is very nice! They have great music playing! They also have indoor eating allowed. Of course with masks being required and worn by workers. Plus social distancing is practiced. Fantastic lunch! 5 stars big time! ;) The Spicy Jalapeño Crab roll was spicy, fresh and oh so delicious! The garlic edamame was garlic goodness! I thought the seared tuna on top was sliced ham because it was so thin and odd colored. The whole thing was just wrong. Tried this out last Friday as part of dine outside downtown Hanford. The set up is simple and they sit many people. They do reservations, call ahead, they stay busy! The service is slower than your average restaurant but it's because each sushi roll is made to order and made to perfection! 4 stars because when we arrived it took forever to be seated but the table we had been assigned had been empty and cleaned since we checked in 10 min before our reservation. Usually I enjoy coming here but this is now the 2nd time I've had received food that was tasteless and charred. We ordered 2 meals and the grilled teriyaki beef was burned and tasted so bad. One of the plates (the sizzler plate) was the biggest waste. All the vegetables and beef was burned and was stuck to the cast iron by the time it was brought out. The quality of food is not near worth the price you pay. Additionally I waited almost 15 minutes to receive my tab after I had originally asked a server for it. This is the second time we've come to this restaurant and the service has been absolutely awful! We were seated with no plates, There were four or five servers standing around. As we waited to order, we waited and waited while 3 or 4 servers just stood in one corner, I assume waiting for their tables food but no one checked on us. We wanted to order more food and again.. waited while servers were just standing around the Restaurant.. they weren't very bust either so I'm not sure what was going on that day but it's safe to say the service absolutely blows and we will not be back. read more

Best sushi ever! Sit at the sushi bar and talk to the owner/sushi chef. He truly cares about his work and sushi. The fish quality is beyond comparison. VERY fresh melts in your mouth like butter. Never had a bad Roll or experience here. My favorite is the salmon avocado and tuna avocado (custom rolls). Not that frou-frou stuff. You can customize any roll. Seriously have I mentioned already how amazing this place is. Wonderful customer service. I can't speak highly enough. I come here at least twice a week. read more
