Since we stopped by on a late morning weekday, we had the entire course to ourselves, which was really nice. I can imagine how busy it gets on weekends with big groups, families, and kids. Other than that, everything else was great. Each hole featured a unique aspect of the city. My wife liked how descriptions about each landmark were posted nearby.

At $19 per adult and $13 per youth, Stagecoach is quite a fun excursion in the city. It is also conveniently located across the street from SPARK which features a rotation of food trucks & events. When the party date arrived the place was decorated and the girls had a wonderful time taking turns riding a horse and a pony. They even had a horse kissing booth which the girls found fun and engaging. It was a wonderful experience with smiles all around. I plan on having my younger daughters party there in a few years. I also discovered they have weekly ridings and even a Halloween riding event so I will definitely be bringing the kids back soon.

I just recommend booking in advance if you want a specific day. These programs are always booked in advance just to get logistics and paperwork done. The staff are also really friendly and plan out the programs to fit the client's needs as well as fit the group goals, such as teamwork or perseverance or group relationships. This is also an interesting program because they also teach their participants how to belay if they book a full day program instead of just having the staff belay like most places. They also provide a variety of different games and activities from ground to cable activities (a foot from the ground) as a progression to help you get used to the challenge course and interact with the rest of your group. Also, this is a nice non-profit group that allows people to come to the challenge course free on community days, as well as give out a lot of scholarships to help lift the financial burden for some kids that usually don't get the opportunity to do this. Overall, cool place to be outside and challenge yourself. Awesome organization that helps out the community.

Mike has the ability to break down intricate techniques which has greatly improved my jiu jitsu. Whether it's guard retention, submissions, or positional sparring, he provides clear explanations and demonstrations that clarify even the most challenging techniques. Sensei Mike and Papa Frankie (and many other colored belts) are all excellent professors. Overall an amazing place to learn and train on your journey. Everyone is friendly and supportive. During live rolls I've seen the black belts correct mis-behavior which is a good sign. I recently moved further away (from Pacifica to Millbrae) and made sure to map out how far it would be to the Cave. If you are interested in starting jiu-jitsu, or already experienced and want to find a new gym, I whole-hardheartedly recommend The Cave.

But then we saw 826 Valencia - Mission Bay Center Woodland Creature Outfitters, and we both were excited to check it out. We felt the magic as soon as we entered. This place looks like it was built for forest nymphs, magic creatures, and those who believes. Lots of interesting cool products, mix with things you may find from magic potion shops, and artsy workshops. We also learned that this organization is a writing center that serves under-resourced students. And this center is also part of a long-term redevelopment plan for this neighborhood to integrate low-income housing into market-rate housing to become one of San Francisco's most thoughtfully integrated neighborhoods/communities.
