This park is good for toddlers and grade schoolers. Some of the slides on the "big kid" side are pretty high and fast. The toddler size is also great. oJanuary 17, 2024 I…read moreplayed 3 hours of pickleball and got home to to the west end and had no water. it's typical of the club of the isle; if it's not a leak it's "the water dept needs to do an inspection" LOL! i waited an hour and a half and came back here to shower. im ever so grateful to the city of Galveston for allowing the residents to recreate AND shower here for FREE!! thank you so much ps: Ms. Shelia [mgr in charge for THREE decades] is such a sweetheart, and so is Terrell the rec coordinator... both are such assets.

Visited this park on a Tuesday afternoon while I was in vacation in the area. This park had a big…read morekids and little kids area and had plenty to do. My little one enjoyed it a lot. The park was clean and not crowded. Also no big kids or teenagers running around. They also have a big splash pad that cool him down before going back to play . It was really hot that day and there's no shade ANYWHERE in the playground or benches. Only the gazebo outside the playground has shade.

Nothing dampens my vacation to the beach like a week of rain and no sun but that's what happened…read more So we were on the hunt for something fun to do with five children under 4! Fortunately we came across this sweet little place on the island. Small and quaint but full of rooms of imagination and learning. Each of the kids had different personalities and within seconds we found a spot for each of them. It may have been a toss up as to whether adults or kids had the most fun. There is only one doorway to come in and out of so we felt pretty safe that we wouldn't lose any too quickly lol. Every time we thought we had seen it all, there were more rooms to discover. Kids were fully entertained and happy to be out of the airbnb. There were enough activities for ages up to 8 I would say. There was also an art studio. Supplies were rough. Very used so a donation might improve that activity. Restrooms clean but small. So was parking. We had to park on adjacent street when we were there. Takeaway-when it rains, make a trip here you won't regret it. I believe it was $10 per head. Oh and be sure to do a little jig with Mr Skeleton while you're there.
