I've had a really bad experience with this office. 2 weeks ago my retainer broke and I called to see if my insurance covered a new one. The lady at the office checked and said YES but that I needed to front $500 and I would be refunded. i went in and saw the Dr. he also confirmed my insurance would cover it, and I should just get the top and bottom. I did it, got the retainers that 2 assistants could NOT put in my mouth and even thought they were the wrong ones, And the Dr jammed them in and said they are great, my teeth were the problem. Anyway they called 2 days later to say the insurance denied the claim. I told them they had lied to me and swindled me out of my money. The office lady said that there is NOTHING that could be done and I can call Delta insurance and get more details. Well I didn't take that, I spoke to the Doctor who ASSURED me that they would file the claim again and he was sorry I was lied to..... well it's been 10 days and crickets. No refund, no claim has even been filed, my money was just kept .... Super shady office lesson of the day: don't front any money! read more

Hands down the best orthodontist I've ever experienced. I had ortho treatment 4 times, the last 3 times it resulted in needing a correction to fix my bite or my alignment. This will be my last time because my bite and teeth had not felt this good for years. I wore a night guard for years and when I was done I no longer need to use one and I am able to chew on my back teeth again. My dentist at Nice Teeth Dental referred me to San Leandro Orthodontist in 2023 for Invisalign. At the time, I could not bring myself to such commitment! So again in 2024, I met with Dr. Huang (after visiting a few others for second opinion) he was the only person I felt confident in helping me get my smile to where it needs to be. Mainly, because he wasn't selling me on unrealistic expectations and telling me what I wanted to hear! To add, he is as I remembered, patient, honest, kind and pretty funny too! He suggested I remove my wisdom teeth before starting which I did and fast forward 1 year later, I am finished (6 months earlier than expected)! Sure, it took some discipline but it is 10000% worth it! My smile is better than anything I could have imagined. The appointments were painless. His staff is amazing!
