Absolutely love San Loco. I am sad many of their locations have closed. I truly enjoy their ballpark nachos, chicken tacoloco tacos, kids quesadillas, and more. I came here one late night after seeing my friend, who's a musician, play a gig at a nearby club. We came in at around 11pm, and there were a few people there eating. It's a cute spot that serves all different types of Mexican food and drinks for good prices. I have been ordering from San Loco for years. Ever since they were around the corner from me on 2nd avenue. Their food has always been good and flavorful, with maybe a hiccup along the way, but I stil ordered from them. Tonight I ordered two beef taco salads and a small ballpark nachos. I ordered from Grubhub and it said that it would take about an hour. Since they were on Avenue C, I figured about 45 minutes, my order was delivered in about 15-20 minutes. I was surprised, but I figured it's a Tuesday night and they probably weren't slammed. I started eating my ground beef taco salad and the beef was cold and tasted like it had been left out for awhile. The other taco salad and the ballpark nachos tasted the same way. This restaurant is really super cute and 100 worth the stop. I ordered a spicy tofu burrito and a limeade. The burrito had really well balanced flavors. Tofu can be a bit repulsive but the burrito was so good that I didn't even remember that it was in there! The limeade was a smash hit too. It had this bitterness that i loved and was very refreshing.
