Why is the guy who runs the register here SO ANGRY? I told him as nicely as possible that he gave me the wrong size guac and he threw a fit. It didn't help that another customer had a wrong order and when she asked for him to make it right, he threw a fit again. Before that, a psycho came into the store yelling belligerently, and almost knocked into me. The only reason he didn't is because I jumped back and a lady (customer) shielded me. Meanwhile, the man behind the counter kept telling me my order is ready and completely ignored the fact that I was trying to escape being mauled by a psychopath. Why is it so stressful to get tacos and guac? I left there with my nerves shot. I will NEVER never go back and it's a shame because i love their food. The other employees behind the counter seemed nice and one of them was nice enough to give me the right size guac when the other man was having a baby tantrum fit. After leaving i realized he gave me the wrong size pico also. Apparently the app prices and sizes are wrong. I paid $5 for guac (no chips) and he was trying to give me a $2 size. You know what he told me? "I don't know anything about the app!" When i literally showed him what i paid. On this visit it was just a quick snack; a chicken and a steak tacos. Both were great. The steak in particular had nice flavor and texture. I should have gotten a third one, lol. Los Tacos Hermanos is a go to when in NY! They are open late so I find myself grabbing dinner after checking into a hotel to kick off my trip. It's a small spot that has limited seating so majority people order to go. However, there always seems to be enough spots for anyone that goes to eat in. In the winter they have the doors closed and when it's warm, they have outdoor seating and the doors open. The food is amazing! I have tried the burrito bowl, burrito, and street tacos. All of these are great. The guys cooking know what they're doing. If I had to choose just one item, I'd choose the El Pastor tacos. Add some green sauce and I can easily slam four or five. Do yourself a favor and check this spot out. If there's a line to order, just wait. You won't be disappointed. read more

UNBELIEVABLE!! Ordered a 1 birria taco for $5.99 and it did not come with ANY consome at all! When I asked about it, they told me that it only comes with the consome if you order 2 tacos, so asked if I can purchase a side of the consome as the taco they gave me was dryer than dirt and she wanted to charge me $6.95 for a side of the consome which mind you should automatically come with a birria taco. that is the whole point. Was in town as a tag-along wife. Either she missed me saying that or the folks in the back missed it when prepping the order, because there were a few HUGE pieces of onion. Fortunately they were huge pieces and I could pull them out, but sometimes you just can't tell the difference between an onion and a piece of lettuce. It's not an allergy, it just gives me the worst breath and makes my tummy uncomfortable. I'll live, just needed to brush my teeth a couple of times to get the taste out. The carne asada was fine - it needed to be tenderized a bit more. Yes, I know I sound like a gringo. I can't help it. A knockoff Los Tacos #1 but what I will say is it's reminiscent of tacos from uptown Bronx or the heights, the steak is a little too juicy my plate was messy. The cashier is a little feisty but there's literally only 1 cook and one cashier who transforms into a cook for a few minutes then takes orders. It's fine for what it is. Stopped in for some tacos and they were BOMB. The carne asada is seasoned to perfection(chefs kiss). The rice and beans are also flavorful. They have an authentic taste which I really appreciate. Their guac salsa is good and not spicy at all. I will say my corn tortillas were a bit too greasy but that would not stop me from ordering food from them again. The joint were obvs bumping, music blaring, workers vibing and decor lookin cleaaann. The service was quick and the wait wasn't long. Prices were decent; loved that they had more than one menu up for people to look at. If I keep it a hunnid, the tacos were mid - meat was a lil hard and coulddd have been seasoned a lil more but the toppings made up for it and rlllyy added the flavour. Get the nachos with everything, You won't be disappointed! So far, everything I've ordered from here has been really good. Tacos, quesadillas, quesobirrio, burrito bowls, nachos. I think the steak here is way better than at Chipotle. Service is pretty quick. They get pretty busy on weekdays around lunchtime, but they seem to have a good system in place that keeps the order line moving and you don't wait too long for your food.
