I tried to use these folks to replace the glass covers on our fish tank (they use 3/16" thickness glass). It took several tries to get in touch with them because they didn't return my call when I left voicemail (I should've considered this predictive of things to come). When I finally got someone on the phone I ordered four custom pieces of glass, and along with a quote, was informed that my order would ready for pickup one to two days out. When they didn't call to tell me my order was ready I called them again after 4 days. Their response was that "it should be ready" ready but they would call or text me back to confirm - crickets. So at one week out, I went to their shop only to discover the door locked - called again, no answer. I give up - luckily I didn't pay up front. Nancy could not get ahold of her boss so she came to do the measurements herself which I really appreciated. She measured and gave an estimate, as well as, an approximate completion date but then I never heard from her again. Super happy with San Pedro glass. I had a defective front door lock and I ended up getting locked out. Had to break a kitchen window to get back in. Called San Pedro glass to get it fixed. Talked with Nancy who was super sweet. She was super honest and said if I could pop the window out and bring it in I could save the $85 service fee and have it fixed in about 30 minutes. She said it may work if the house had not settled. It did work. Boy, was that easy. She had it done in exactly 30 minutes and the price was fantastic. Cheaper than a locksmith for sure! I would do busy with them anytime! Regarding the bad review placed by the other reviewer, I stopped by also before calling and no one was there. That was because this is a two person business and Nancy had to go out herself on a estimate. I left a message and she called me back as soon as she was done with that estimate. I yelped this business and went because of the service comments and they are local business. The results: Outstanding. Cost me less that $7 to replace. Immediate service. Horrible and unprofessional. Put in a shower door for me, and it leaked. They ignore phone calls so it took awhile for them to finally fix it. A few months later the shower handle falls off. The shower is obviously still under warranty, and they never are returning my phone calls. They finally set up an appointment to fix it after I threatened legal action. I just checked in my bathroom, and they did not clean up anything. There are shreds of metal all over my bathroom floor and on my towels. read more

As great as the reviews say! I had a burglary and they broke a window getting in. The window was double pane, one pane clear and the other frosted, and was like the size of a bathroom window. Not too large. Called on the weekend, he picked up, told him what was going on and said it would needed to be ordered because of the gas that goes between the panes of glass to discourage moisture getting all up in there. They had the window overnight and delivered it upon finishing it. Was only $50 to fix correctly and in a timely manner. Great customer service. Support the little guys! I don't know how San Pedro Glass has been in business for so long...especially with my experience with them. Our front window needed replacement and being a local, I called a local shop. At around 10:30am, The woman that answered was very polite and gave me a reasonable estimate. But when I asked when she can have someone install the window, she said someone can do be here at "maybe 6 or 7 tonight. But I need to call the installer to see if he IF HE WANTS to do it first"....this had me confused. I gave her 2 call back numbers to confirm whether or not they'll even show up. Hours passed. Fast forward to 4pm. I began calling them with no luck. No answer. Left several voice messages, even sent them a message on Facebook asking if they were coming by tonight. 7pm rolled by, and nobody showed up. Looked online to see what time they close and they close at 5pm....why they said they'd be here around 6 or 7pm still blows my mind. Next morning, I began calling them at 9am thru 11am....NO ANSWER. Finally I called another Glass Installer and they took great care of us....2pm, that same day, at an even better price. And to make SP Glass look even more ridiculous, they FINALLY call me back at 4:45pm telling me they can send someone over now. Hahahahaaa!!!!Really? Now you guys want business? This company has done a great job on replacing glass when I broke windows. They put glass in all my upper cabinets in my new kitchen. On Nov 7, 2018 I spoke with Nancy and she made an appointment for someone to come out between 5-6 pm on Friday Nov 9, 2018 to cut two mirrors down and apply them to the bathroom walls. Earlier in the day on Nov 9 I called and left a message to let them know the mirrors are big and they will need two people. No one showed up. A little after 6 pm on that Friday I called to see if they were running behind but had to leave a message. At 9:40 am on Monday Nov 12 I called and spoke with Nancy again. She said she didn't know what happened but will find out and call me back to reschedule. She never called so I called again at 1:15 pm but had to leave a message and was assured someone would call me back. I decided to drive over there to talk to someone in person but when I got there, during business hours, the place was locked up and no one answered the door!
