Sat at the bar rather than try and wait around for a table (no one acknowledged us or gave us menus) dripped on with condensation from above piping, we'll move since the people next to us at the bar wouldn't move up! Grabbed seating in front of the vats and still waited. Asked the guy in front of the bus station who was looking like a manager could we get some menus - he was clueless. Another 5 minutes went by before lovely waitress who's name begins with an M but can't remember, came over - extremely apologetic, told us the guy we talked to it was his first day - oh brother, but makes sense!! Beer solid as usual, food they were out of all the sliders so we ordered the veggie nachos - sorriest looking plate of food ever, saltiest chips I've ever eaten, a sprinkling of corn, black beans and tomatoes, a teaspoon of cheese sauce on 2-3 chips but the biggest glob of sour cream! The worst ever!!! We laughed it off and said first week relaunch issues we'll try again in a couple of months!! Wishing them well but maybe they should have done a soft launch first to iron out all the issues!!

Service was also very attentive. For cocktails, I had the white sangria and my husband had the berry mojito. Both drinks were refreshing and well balanced, too pretty to drink! For tapas, we shared empanadas (angus beef, shrimp & chorizo, organic chicken), a tale of two countries (burrata, eggplant agrodolce, serrano ham) and land & sea (NY strip & sea scallops). We loved them all, so delicious and flavorful. For our entrees, we had the churrasco (char-grilled black angus skirt steak) and pollo gitano (organic chicken thighs, sweet sausage, hot cherry peppers). Also very good and beautifully presented, the pollo gitano had a little kick to it. For dessert, we had the churros con chocolate and flan, very tasty and perfect to end our dinner. Great date spot or casual outing with friends. You won't be disappointed. I'll absolutely be back.

We ordered a variety of tapas and everything hit: the empanadas (chicken, shrimp & sausage, beef) were crispy and flavorful, the crispy manchego was rich and indulgent, the pulpo a la sevillana was tender and well-seasoned, and the shrimp pinchitos were perfectly grilled. Finished with the flan, which was smooth, creamy, and the perfect ending. Great food, great vibe, and definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

Been coming to this lovely restaurant a few times now since last year. The staff is super kind and…read morefriendly, the food is delicious (a bit pricey for me but it's def worth the splurge) and the owner is always tweaking the menu a bit to keep things fresh, which is really nice! My go-to's are ALWAYS the kale Caesar salad, truffle fries and the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is more of a cream sauce so it's not gooey like traditional Mac and cheese, but the flavor makes me come back to it every time I come. The truffle fries are always fried to perfection and pair so well with the Caesar salad (you can tell they make their own dressing). When I wanna switch it up I get the smashburger which is pretty good! I had my birthday dinner here last year so it was my family's first time coming here, so they all got smashburgers and were very pleased by the high quality of the meat and the flavor. I also like that they have mocktails! I don't drink so it's nice to have a mocktail option. I've only tried the Give Me A Minute mocktail which I'm very loyal to. It's a bit tart and sweet (the lavender syrup really brings it together), and I look forward to it each time I visit. Met the owner recently and he was very nice! Forgot to mention this in person but figure I'll put it here--if you add another plate option deal (happy hour?) that includes the Caesar salad, fries and a side of the Mac and cheese, me and my girlfriends would rather give you guys our money instead of venturing out to the city! Definitely consider coming here with some girlfriends after work for a nice drink and good eats. I've even come to dine on my own and enjoyed myself. One of my friends swears they have the best ice cream for dessert. Not sure if they still do trivia nights (never went but I'm hopeful! Seems like a fun time).

More of a creamy preparation, rather than cheesy or gooey. The wild mushroom pizza was tiny. The crust was a little chewy, but nice rich flavor. My husband enjoyed the lobster bucatini, but would've liked more pieces of lobster.

But last we were in the owner appeared to have instructed the wait staff to come and tell me that outside water bottles were not allowed in the restaurant. I mean it was warm, I have a condition I am battling that requires constant hydration and so I always have a 16 or 20oz water bottle in my hand. I eat out probably 500 times a year for the last say 25 years so say more than 10000 eat outs and have never been hassled about drinking water I had in process to stay healthy, so this is kind of an extreme outlier to me. We haven't been back since and likely won't ever go back even though we live in the neighborhood, since it just so destroyed the vibe to be hassled over a 50 cent bottle of water. We generally tip 30 to 40% even on $100 plus bills so it is just in my view a dumb business decision to hassle over something like that and lose what I would guess is $2500 in revenue from this customer a year. For sure the owner can run the business however he wants, but doubt the hassling behavior is increasing revenue for him.

My more recent experience was with delivery. Overall, I was still very pleased with the food. The burgers seem to be a guaranteed slam dunk. My pulled pork was very tasty, but in comparison to the size of the burgers, it felt a little more mediocre. I was blown away by the size of the chicken sandwich, and I would definitely consider getting that next time.
