Memorial Park honors a couple of San Ramon heroes! Thomas Edward Burnett Jr. (1963-2001) & Lance Cpl. Kyle D. Crowley (1985-2004).

Memorial Park honors a couple of San Ramon heroes that dedicated their lives to this country. Thomas Edward Burnett Jr. (1963-2001) helped prevent the terrorists from crashing their plane into their 4th intended target on September 11th, 2001. Lance Cpl. Kyle D. Crowley (1985-2004) died fighting the War in Iraq. It's a beautiful memorial & tribute to a couple of local San Ramon residents. As for the park itself, it's a decent sized park that has a little bit of everything. It hidden up on the hill that's located west from the I-680 freeway, off of the Bollinger Canyon Road exit. They contain a large dog park, with a playground, a little dirt bike area, picnic tables, bocce ball area, little league field, etc. Parking is kind of small, but I haven't had problems finding parking. Overall it's a nice community park with a lot of friendly locals.

Took my nephew here over the weekend to enjoy this park. It's pretty well kept up it's very large and the swing set has some good spots to play at. There is also a dog park located inside this park. The parking is a bit limited but it wasn't super busy so it was a none issue. The place was pretty clean. Kind of puts my Hayward parks to shame. San Ramon holding it down in cleaner bigger better parks. I would check this spot out if you like the outdoors. Wants a chill place to walk. The bathrooms were also pretty clean and they have a dirt track above the playgrounds. There are a ton of areas to eat and sit as well. This park has it all. It has a large grass area below the dog park. It's just a good sized park that has something for everyone. There isn't a crazy good hike but a small walk around so. If you are looking for a hike this isn't the park but it does everything else well. San Ramon holding it down for the parks.

Pleasantly surprised by this park. It is much larger than I expected. This is now my daughter's new favorite park, 4 different monkey bars to choose from!

Memorial Park in San Ramon has a resident crowd of dogs at 9 am and another gathering at 5 pm. There are any where from 15 to 30 dogs mostly well behaved. There is plenty of parking and restrooms. Since the Dog park is very large, dogs can run and play off leash. There are lots of old tennis balls to play with and a gazebo for some shade. On one end of the park there is a separate small dog park and on the other end there is a drinking fountain for the people and dogs.

My little pet model got photo bombed by a boxer :)

Nice doggy park in San Ramon with a large enclosed dirt area for dogs to play in. Has a doggy water fountain and pooper scoopers. There is a separate area for smaller dogs. Took my inherited doggy earlier today along with a friends dog. They were a little anti social but enjoyed the park. All the other dogs were social, welcoming and most of the other pet owners were friendly. Pick up after your dogs and keep your dog in the section that is appropriate to your dogs size.

Good play structures. Even something for my 18 month to play on. Not a tone of shade so definitely bring a hat and sunscreen

I'm not just reviewing this place on a recent, pleasant dog walk (which is a great place to do and they have doggie fountains here as well). No... my roots go way deeper here. Growing up in the area before there was the large Target and City Lot nearby, before the local government offices, this park is where me and a close knit group of friends would go every night. We weren't causing any trouble. We just didn't really have anywhere else to go, but we all looked forward to hanging out most nights, especially during the summers. We would skate in the parking lot or possible play basketball (they had a few full courts where the offices are built now). At one point a few of my friends worked with the city to help design and build out the skate park (I see there names on the plaque to this day in late 2025). I remember my friends putting on and being part of small music fests that was held in the amphitheater area. I even remember working some events held at the event building on the south side of the park. Just a great park with lots of parking, events schedules, and just every day things to do. Lot of personal memories as well.

The grass was green and well kept, and there was plenty of space for kids to run around. The covered picnic areas with a roof was so nice and perfect for rainy days or a hot sunny weather, and it offered many things to keep kids entertained such as a good-sized playground. It's clean, easy, and works well for group gatherings. Only downside is the restrooms were available but not very clean, and parking can get a bit tight. Overall, a reliable spot for things like birthday parties without feeling chaotic.

Perfect spot for play dates, birthday parties or just to exist. That's what our daughter loves to…read moredo every time she visits. Since there are SO MANY play areas and structures to explore and enjoy, I have never heard her say she is bored. Our daughter can exist here for hours with snacks and water at hand. Kids are ALWAYS here so it is easy to find a playmate, if needed, for the day. There are restrooms directly behind the big play area with multiple stalls. It is well maintained and usually stocked. There are lots of benches, both with and without backs, surrounding the various play areas. There are numerous hammocks surrounding the park (closest to the swing area).. Be careful not to get too relaxed and misplace your lil one(s). It gets pretty hot out here and with the absence of shaded benches, bring a blanket to sit beneath a tree or an awning and chairs if you're fancy. Parking is directly outside the park. With ample parking it is difficult to not find a spot. During summer months it gets a little harder do arrive early. A grass area separates play from parking. There are plenty of bike racks as well. If you do not feel like driving the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station is a 12 minute walk away. If we ever explored this option I would have to bring a wagon. After play I doubt our little one would want to trek the journey. There are very few food options nearby so definitely come with snacks and drinks. There are working water fountains throughout the park (not refill stations). Come, enjoy! You can make a day of play here without spending a dime.

There's a larger park - with a zip line, a little obstacle play structure + slide, swings, and many more activities. There's also a smaller park on the other side that's suitable for younger children. You can also find shaded areas to sit and eat down at. A large grass field to run around or fly a kite. And a trail that goes around the park - perfect for walking, biking, or roller blading. I mentioned earlier that the main park was crowded, but the green area is very quiet and peaceful. I'm considering having one of my kid's birthday party's here. I truly enjoyed it. And I got to try out Mister Softee for the first time - which was parked out front for the day.
