Truly a lovely roadside produce stand! I purchased apples that were crisp and tasty. I was also given an ear of corn to try, which was sweet and fresh. Service was very friendly and helpful. Prices are certainly reasonable given the freshness and quality of the produce. There also seems to be a unique variety of produce that you don't see every day. If I lived in the area, I would certainly be a frequent customer. It's almost a drive-through; parking is right in front of the stand and very convenient. Shop local! read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Sanchez farm. We purchased some fresh produce and the woman working there was so helpful and friendly. The strawberries were delicious and all the root vegetables and corn were fresh. We had been seeing the IG posts on their marigold harvest and were fortunate enough to time our visit for fresh flowers. The fall and Dia de los Muertos displays were beautiful and festive. Though it was very busy, everyone was nice and helpful. There is plenty of parking in the dirt lot and portable restrooms are available. If you are looking for a wonderful fall picture opportunity and some lovely fresh flowers this harvest weekend is a great time to pay a visit. read more

Such sweet people. Rosa is so generous. It's not unusual for them to give us something we didn't ask for. Today, they told us to pick out giant sunflowers, a cheerful gift. They have seasonal fresh produce, locally grown, mostly from Oxnard, and they grow marigolds to pick fresh as well, so they last a long time and it's fun. My granddaughter loves to stop by and chose her veggies for dinner, and usually likes eating them because she got to pick and Rosa makes it a blessed time. Rosa always has the best avocados too and she's knowledgeable about ripeness on all things. These veggies and fruits are picked ripe too. So good! Conveniently located on Sierra Hwy with plenty of parking. Cash only because there's literally no cell service. You'll be glad you stopped in. read more

A beautiful Marigold Farm is my second year visiting the farm, better than last year I got to see Marigolds in different colors and the smell is amazing. The workers are so kind and noble and make sure you enjoy the fields. We were talking to them about the seeds that come from Mexico. The smell is good to remind you of Mexico my friend said. I have been going to this place for years and the lady Rosa thinks I'm not that smart and her prices change from one second to the next if I ask her what's the total she changes it up a few dollars every time and sometime the fruit is so old she still will sell it to you knowing it's bad. This time I went and she charged 16.00 dollars for a watermelon and it had no gold seeds and it was not excellent why why did you think that was ok and a fair price??? You will never get my money again and I hope people get smart and realize most of this fruit has stickers and it's not freshly picked by them only a very limited is so if you really want fresh grown go to bloom farms or others not this place they are taking full advantage of Americans. read more

What a beautiful place to come and get fresh cut marigolds and produce! When arriving I was happily greeted and was told I can take pictures and walk around their place to check it out. They are so sweet here! The bundles of flowers are $10 and their pumpkins are affordable too! The kids and I had a great time here! The flowers are so beautiful and smell amazing!!! I made a pit stop at Sanchez Produce on my way back home from a road trip. Breakfast - protein shake w fresh strawberries. Honestly these strawberries are among the best I have ever had. It's worth it to stop by for the strawberries alone. Snacks - salsa and guac, the avocados were perfectly ripe and the lemons tart enough for my favorite guac recipe. I'm sure everything else is delightful, the owners are friendly and do their best to make sure their customers are satisfied. I would definitely stop by next time I'm on another road trip. Omg! I found a great hidden Jem! Or I'm just late to the party. This place was awesome! Pumpkin patch, produce stand and fields of marigolds! Found them last minute looking for marigolds for Día de Los muertos, and they were honest about what I was getting. They told me I would be getting lots of buds. If you want to find the most pretty marigolds, come to Sanchez Produce Farm. I came around Halloween time and wanted to get some marigolds for Día De Los Muertos, and they did not disappoint. I had never been and it looked like it was a bigger area, maybe could have been earlier in the month? But TikTok videos really did me dirty. Sometimes they help me pick out my goods because I don't always know how to pick the right one if I want to eat it that day or a couple days later. Came to get fresh cempasúchil and we were greeted as soon as walking in and they gave us a little background on the farm and how they started growing the marigolds. We bought about 4 bunches and after we were able to walk around and see the beautiful rows and rows of flowers. read more

The Sanchez family are just about the nicest people in produce... at least in my opinion. I've never had a bad item from them. The strawberries that they source from the Oxnard area (last time I asked) are fabulous, the onions, cabbage, everything is top notch. But a week ago we stopped by returning from Ventura, and I bought a few of their heirloom tomatoes. Oh. My. Goodness. I used to farm with my aunt and uncle in Iowa, and their produce was incredible. But these heirlooms were among the top four tastiest tomatoes I've EVER eaten. Unbelievable taste, texture, perfect ripeness... the depth of the 'tomato' flavor was so deep I fell face-first in it and didn't want to crawl back out into the real world. Tomato bliss.
