This was our first time at Sand Pebbles Restaurant this evening and their food is . We started with the lettuce wraps, sand pebble roll, aurora roll, sand pebble pad thai and finished our meal with the crunchy banana dessert. Everything was amazing from start to finish and I'm already wondering what I will order next visit. :) Sand Pebbles has ranked my new favorite restaurant and that says a lot because I'm super picky! Don't walk, but run to this place. You will not be disappointed.

After having had several great experiences at their sister restaurant in Pinecrest, I decided to give this Aurora location a try. The dining room is much larger and the bar is fairly large, but parking is limited and I was forced to park in the pizza shop lot next door. This restaurant has a different feel than its counterpart but not in a bad way. The ambiance is a little less trendy but it is also less noisy and great for larger groups. There were two servers and one bar tender then night we came. Only the bar tender seemed to speak enough English to take our order but the other servers did check on us and try to assist when they could. The menu is exactly try the same as Pinecrest but they also have a huge sushi menu where they give you a marker to check all the rolls you wish to try. We skipped sushi tonight and opted for the Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Sand Pebbles Pad Thai. Although we waited for about 15 minutes before someone came to take our order, our food came out in about 10 minutes and it was delicious! Both dishes were outstanding. The lettuce wraps are big enough to eat alone as an entree and the pad Thai was enormous. They loaded it with the most light and crispy chicken I've ever tasted - we had enough to take two big pieces home with us. The shrimp on the pad Thai were also large and flavorful. I have been to this restaurant chain 4 times now and have yet to get a bad dish or bad service. I can't say enough about these guys - if you like Asian food (the menu includes Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Singapore, etc) and are looking for good value for your money and a great meal, check out either location. You can't go wrong here.

David and I stopped in last minute for a quick but healthy bite and Sand Pebbles nailed it AGAIN!!! It was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you again Pearl and team.

Something's not quite right. I've had good experiences here in the past but the quality has gotten worse while the prices have increased. Was only able to stomach a few bites of the pad thai. It tastes nothing like a normal pad thai and has thin overcooked noodles with a gelatanous brown sauce that was actually kind of gross. For $20, it felt wasted. I don't expect to come here again. The restaurant itself is nice. Lots of natural light and seating options. Want to give two stars because of positive prior experiences, but really can't recommend given the dissapointing food.

Nice place near Aurora Farms that had good Yelp reviews. Sushi, Thai and Vietnamese food. We had a few sushi rolls which were fresh, large and nicely displayed, squid app which was mostly rings and pad Thai with extra shrimp. Pad Thai was very good, especially with the extra shrimp. All were good, but service was a little slow. Seems like the wait staff may also be the sushi chef. A little on the pricy side - $60, but would prefer to pay more for good food. Keep up the good work but get some wait staff.

Top spot to eat at Pinecrest! Food and service is always top tier, love the Panang Curry and can't go wrong with any of chicken dishes!

Decor is a comfortable warm hotel lounge, the bar has a few TVs showing sports. It was early evening on a Friday and the place was about half full. The menu is diverse with a bunch of different items, mainly American staples, plus pizza and sushi. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp App and the Fish Sandwich at the recommendation of my server. I did end up waiting quite a while for any of the food to come out even though they didn't appear to be very busy. Finally I got the shrimp app, 8 large shrimp fried with a house made coconut breading and a nice dipping sauce. The shrimp were excellent, plump, juice and flavorful; a strong recommendation from me. A bit later out came the fish sandwich, a thick fillet of white fish on a brioche bun topped with lettuce and tomato sided with fries. I had to ask for tarter sauce and it was a key addition zippy and lemony. The fish was good, but the breading was just OK and the tomato slice was too thick for this type of sandwich. Overall a good meal, Paws is worth a try if you are in the Aurora area, the food was good, quality ingredients, scratch made with some very nice touches. Timing from the kitchen seemed to be off and I would have appreciated a bit more attention from the server, but she was friendly and helpful.

We were seated right away. The hostess gals were pleasant in greeting us and seated us. A high and open ceiling, plenty of color and lighting. A very nicely kept restaurant. We asked our waitress if there were any gluten free options and she said, "Yes, some naturally, some things can be modified. My Mom had the naturally gluten free Pad Thai. A classic that she always gets and enjoyed it with the chicken and shrimp. I had GF Chicken Fried Rice. The portion was plentiful. I had a couple leftover portions in the following days. I enjoyed just as much as the initial serving. Sweet and sour chicken was crispy and plentiful. My dad and brother aren't much for describing food. My brother's girlfriend and her mom loved their food. They enjoyed the whole experience of having bother moms there for mother's day. I have driven past Imperial Wok plenty of times. Been to plenty of the surrounding restaurants and businesses. Glad I was able to get in with family and friends and have a full meal. I could see myself coming back and having some Chinese cuisine when I'm not driving out to somewhere else at five dollars a gallon for gas. Great overall experience!

If I had to rate…read moreit from the first time I've had it, it would've been zero stars but the subsequent orders were not quite as bad. My date got takeout from here--the most standard order possible: sesame chicken, lo mein and appetizer of potstickers. The lo mein was offensive. They used skinny rice noodles and used all oil but no seasoning. The noodles were bland and HARD; like, just no. How do you mess up lo mein??!! The chicken was also bland and drowning in some radioactive orange concoction that was all corn starch. The "potstickers" were undercooked and burnt at the same time. Like, what? The tips were hard but the body of the dumpling was like chewing on uncooked dough. Lordy lord, it was like made by people who had only heard about Chinese takeout. I had some dishes again at a party and another time ordered in at a smaller get together. Okay, quality was slightly better and comparable to Panda Express (current, not how it was before). Presentation looks like it would be better but then you bite into everything and it's just not that good. Solon, we can do better! Can we get a better and more authentic Chinese place? C'mon guys!
