I travel to Asia often, and have a deep love for certain dishes in each country. It's a wasted effort to tell friends and family because I could never find those same quality dishes here locally. Wrong!!! Sand Pebbles nailed it. All the best Asian dishes with incredible accuracy, couple that with the best sushi in all of the Cleveland area. (Actually maybe second best because of Ginko). we have been there numerous times and have always been pleased with the food. I usually order the same things...wonton soup and Asian orange chicken. the last 3 times I had to switch from the orange chicken because it was way too spicy. Tonight I ordered the wonton soup and nearly choked to death....so much pepper. Why would they change when something like their soup was SOOO good and now it's inedible to someone that is sensitive to too much pepper. My husband loves spicy and even he could not eat it. This place is a great find!! We drive past it on the way home from church services and just stopped today. So glad we did! A little pricey, but worth the special day with our oldest daughter. When a customer takes the time to call the restaurant hours in advance and ask food allergy questions, please take them seriously. I called about an anaphylaxis allergy, and was assured that the chef/kitchen would be informed, all ingredients would be checked, and care would be taken against cross contamination. Fast forward to dinner time, where the staff was clearly uninformed and incompetent. We were told that bags with ingredients had already been thrown away, "but you should be fine". With serious allergies, we need concrete proof of ingredient safety, not empty statements. If a restaurant isn't capable of providing safe food and competent service, please let customers know that when we call ahead to ensure these things. I am far more impressed with a restaurant that is honest from the start and tells us they cannot provide a safe meal. Those in our party who did actually receive food were all served 15 minutes apart from each other making dining together impossible. Our portion of the party left and went elsewhere to dine. Never, ever again will we frequent this restaurant and we will make it well-known that they are incompetent and truly do not care what they are serving. read more

I am shocked at how horrible this meal was... After seeing so many amazing reviews we ordered food for a family of five. This has nothing to do with service, 100% truly flavorless food and many missing items. The ramen was void of flavor, terrible noodles and overcooked eggs. Ramen starts with the broth, so it's incredible they offer this as an option with how poorly they craft this broth. The California rolls were not good, with a weird after taste. They forgot wasabi for 4 orders of sushi, they forgot the tofu in vegan fresh rolls. Granted every experience depends on staff n timing, this was truly such a terrible experience. Look, if you can't offer consistent food, just close that day. We ended up throwing out everything other than the veggie sushi roll. Steer clear of this place, at least on Tuesday nights. Arrived @ 7:25pm and was seated. A few empty tables. Left @ 8pm, since nobody came to our table to serve us. We made many attempts to "flag down" someone and get their attention. No success. How does a restaurant seat people and then forget them? I found this new place on Yelp while looking for a place to have dinner with my parents last weekend. It had good reviews and the food looked good as well so we gave it a try. We were definitely not disappointed! So let's go down the list of what we each ordered: I ordered tuna sashimi, now I actually just wanted the order of 6 pieces but somehow ended up with 2 orders so I got 12 pieces lol. BUT it was really good so I kept it. Also ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, this is the only thing I wasn't all that impressed with. The filling was weirdly sweet and pretty watery, would not order this again. For my main dish I got the pork adobo with rice, outstanding and so much food! Needless to say more than half of this went home with me. My mom just ordered the edamame and seaweed salad, she said they were both really good. My dad got the por pia app, really good. For his main dish he got the pad thai, I didn't try that but it looked amazing and he said it was delicious! Service was spot on, very friendly and attentive and the owner (i believe) came by to check on us a couple of times. If you're in the area you have to check this place out! We get sushi to go at many of our favorite places and thought we would give this new place a try...unfortunately on a Friday evening the sashimi and sushi rolls tasted "fishy ", not fresh. The color of the salmon and yellowtail was very dark too. The smell even cut throughout the spicy fire roll jalapeños. Spent every bit of $80. and had to throw half away hoping we don't get sick. So much for picking the table I wanted. Not really an issue there, I chose another table. Obviously, they need help. Only one waitress and a singing bartender we're helping the crowd. Obviously, no one knows anything about sushi at this particular establishment as the miso soup was rank and the salmon came out frozen. This tells me that their sushi isn't even fresh. Unfortunately the ambience was dictated by the food and service. Save yourself from the trouble. Go somewhere else. There are better establishments not too far in Stow or Twinsburg. read more

We had a great dine-in experience a couple of months ago and were excited to have another thai place to to go to. We've been back twice since for take-out and have been dissatisfied both times, we will not be returning. Never in my life have I seen such greasy tofu green curry. We couldn't eat it. The pad thai was extremely bland with what could only be steamed shrimp, that was bland and rubbery tossed on after it was cooked. The crazy noodles, my favorite thai dish, also called drunkin noodles or pad kee mao in other establishments, were boring with almost no spice or sauce. The Pad See Ew was ok, nothing special. All of the noodles had a faint taste of plastic. I never leave reviews as I prefer to let people discover their own food. But this is just not worth the money. Two stars because of the one good experience. I'll cook my own thai next time, as I often do. Try the other thai restaurants around Aurora and Twinsburg, much better food. read more

Sand Pebbles restaurant in Aurora definitely puts a fresh spin on an Asian restaurant concept in terms of both decor and menu, really a hidden gem!! The Thai chef is a delight, delivering food that was out of this world delicious and beautifully presented. We also loved the patios and the nice deck for outdoor dining (pet friendly). Interior is also beautifully done with a bright but simple beach vibe, perfect tone for Asian Pacific. Definitely worth a visit, bring your own wine though until the liquor license arrives (approved, but don't have it to post yet). read more

However, half of our meal order came out before the beers and our appetizer. The man brought over our food and asked "So what did you guys get because I don't know what this is."
