Instead of it being kind of easily "tear it apart" tender, it was very thin and more smooth ... almost like a shaved beef or a slice of ham ... and not tender. Not sure how else to explain it. Another reviewer on Google described it as "rubbery" not tender ... but still tasty. This kind of took away a bit from the enjoyment. I think it clearly beats Katz's. Much tastier. But I've had others that I enjoyed more at Liebman's, for example. Still, not bad. Just that weird smooth consistency.
