Great sandwiches. The breads are delicious and fresh, as are the ingredients. Everything is made to order so it takes some time before food is ready. No indoor seating, only a few picnic tables outside. No bathroom either. Anyway, I made my own sandwich and it was fantastic. Over-stuffed and so good. My husband had the Arthur Ave sandwich and he liked it as well. We shared the veg-it-table salad and it was good, especially the dressing.

Probably the best breakfast sandwich in Nassau County. Lunch sandwiches and menu sandwiches are also top notch. Team behind the counter is always nice and courteous. They also think ahead and ask the little questions that matter when going to your local deli. It's usually a 5-10 minute turn around but on a busy beautiful weekend or during the summer months the earlier the better. Quaint atmosphere with a small counter area by the window to eat at but also a couple of spots outside. In the later hours the back door turns into a no frills all thrill burger haven (red light). Some nights they switch to burritos (green light). Hours for that are 730p-130a (check IG though).

I'm Long Beach and I was looking for lunch to go. I found this on yelp & decided to try it. I'm so glad I did! It's a small shop but service & food are clearly over the top. The young ladies working the counter are so friendly & personable. They took the time to talk to me regarding my order. I decided on the "little Havana" after much consideration. Even after placing my order I had hesitations. Once I got the sandwich all qualms went out the window. The sandwich was warm and the aroma was phenomenal! I couldn't wait and had to dive in. This sandwich with roast pork, porchetta, swiss cheese, pickles & mustard on a roll had me at first bite. It was absolutely incredible. Nothing that I've had ever. I had an out of body moment eating this sandwich. Let's just say I'm planning my next trip to Long Beach to go back to Long Beach sandwich company!!!

This is a $15 sandwich shop that is worth $15. I got one of the specials (something with the word "picnic" in it) with salami, prosciutto, brie, red peppers and fig jam and it was loaded with everything! Quality meats and cheese and not a sandwich filled with lettuce, tomato and onion as fluff. A perfect sandwich to bring over to the beach and big enough to enjoy half then save the rest for later! I would have a hard time going back and trying something new although everything sounded delicious because I loved my sandwich so much.

Great selection of sandwiches & they definitely do not skimp on the fillings. Staff was extremely friendly and sandwiches were very good. Will be back to try more.

This place would easily get 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that one guy (and sometimes brunette girl) behind the counter are never wearing masks, and haven't been for at least the last 6 months of this pandemic. They have signage up outside requiring masks and to limit the number of customers in the store, but they actually allow any number of patrons in and I've even been in there when other customers don't have masks on. Would definitely recommend calling in your order ahead of time, especially on the weekend when it's busier, to limit your time inside the store. This review still gets 4 stars because the sandwiches really are that good. I would recommend the Full Monte and El Guapo as the best sandwiches, but anything you get will be delicious especially when eaten as fresh as possible. Their chicken cutlets are usually juicy and flavorful, and they have an endless amount of amazing sauces and toppings. Whatever sandwich they have as a special for the day is also bound to be very good. As you can probably tell by the pictures, the sandwiches are pretty big. Their salads are okay, but I would definitely recommend a sandwich if you are coming here, and/or a side of coleslaw or potato salad. TLDR: call in advance, double mask, and get as many sandwiches as you can eat in one sitting

This is a local staple. The sandwiches are always fresh, flavorful, and they have some interesting combinations. I personally prefer their pastrami over most places in LB, add some pickles and mustard and you've got yourself a deal! Perfect place to stop before heading to the beach!

An awesome addition to the West End; Pig and Fig sandwich was delicious, as was the What Katie Likes (with added grilled chicken).

My first impression was just how big it is! There are multiple levels of seating and a large bar, giving it a lively atmosphere. I was honestly surprised to see how busy it was on a weekday morning, but that only got me more excited, it usually means a place has built a loyal following for a good reason. With only two stomachs to work with, we wanted to try as much as possible. We ordered eggs over medium with bacon, home fries, and toast, a short stack of pancakes with sausage, and biscuits and gravy. I'll just say it, this place knows how to make breakfast. Everything we ordered was done really well, and I honestly don't have many notes. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. The gravy was rich and flavorful, and the biscuit was soft, buttery, and the perfect pairing. I'm not usually a pancake person, but these were fantastic. Add some real maple syrup and a bite of sausage, and it was the perfect combination. I also can't finish this review without mentioning the Bloody Marys. If you're a Bloody Mary fan, these are elite. Seriously, one of the best I've had. We'll definitely be back.

They were packed so they seated us at the last 2 seats left at the bar near the host stand. There was an acoustic singer and guitar player adding to the energetic ambience. We were handed the place mats and menus upon seating. Then it took about 15 min to order a drink. Then another 25 min before we could place our food order. The female bartender was attentive to all the parties around us, and people who came in after us seemed to be a priority. The barback finally noticed us and helped us while he was also busting out drinks. He noticed we were trying to get her attention so he stepped in kindly and took our order. We ordered the Grilled Artichokes, the Burger, and Chicken Carbonara. (Wanted the Bolognese but someone had just ordered the last one by 8pm?!) She never checked in for a second round, so we didn't bother after about 20 min we gave up. The Artichokes came out about 20 min after ordering. They plopped them in front of us, no utensils or napkins. I had to ask the barback for some. The busser seemed disgruntled a said they only had forks. Had to flag someone else for napkins, and they brought us a pile of c-fold paper towels, when they usually have cloth napkins as we noticed with patrons who came in after us. My sis-in-law and I wolf down the 4 pieces of artichokes, using our fork and hands to cut into pieces (no knife). Then another 30 min before our mains come out. Couldn't even ask anyone for a food status update, so just tried to enjoy the live music and each other's company to distract from hunger pangs. The burger and carbonara finally show and looks great. The portions were generous. Fries were a little blonde and just underdone but seasoned enough. The carbonara was delicious as well, nice and al dente. We enjoyed our food and chatted. Music was on the louder side but for a Friday night at 8ish pm, that is not uncalled for. The restaurant started to end their rush and the bar emptied out a tad, but the service did not improve. Asked for the bill and to-go containers as soon as I could flag someone bc I knew it would take awhile to get them. Of course when getting the bill things progressed speedily, so we paid and tried to get out as soon as we were done. The staff there was hot and cold. Barback was helpful and everyone else seemed "annoyed" to have to help us with simple requests that shouldn't have to be requested to begin with. Again I understand rushes happen and staff can become overwhelmed. The bar team had to service the bar and some high tops nearby plus make drinks for the rest of the restaurant, so I understand the volume was high, but again the management team should plan accordingly to make sure the diners do not have to feel the lag in the service. Food was good but left a little disappointed from the service.

The servers were all super sweet, and the hostess' did their best to accommodate our group. We ordered two drinks-Cucumber Cooler and the Indian Summer. The Cucumber Cooler was pretty refreshing and reminded me a lot of a mojito. The Indian Summer, however, was extremely tangy and tart, so I wasn't the biggest fan. For our food, we got a Charcuterie Board, Spicy Chicken Rigatoni, Smokehouse Burger, and Cedar-Plank Salmon. We honestly devoured the Charcuterie Board as soon as it was placed down in front of us. I loved the toast paired with the meats, cheese, and fig. The Smokehouse Burger is honestly so filling. I was pretty full from a quarter of the burger, because it was so packed with things (onion rings, cheese, patty, etc.). The fries are also a classic. The rigatoni was also pretty good; it's your classic vodka sauce. As for the salmon, I was a HUGE fan. The maple-bourbon glaze on the salmon gave it a nice smoky, savory, and sweet flavor that paired amazingly with the garlic herb rice. I could honestly eat this for days. Overall, the food, service, and vibe were pretty nice. I see why so many Long Beach natives recommend this spot.
