I came here with 3 of my friends after having a few beers at Bright Eye. We ordered Queso and chips to share for the table. The queso was smooth and creamy. There were also way more than enough tortilla chips for the 4 of us to share. We also ordered fries to share. The fries were amazingly crisp. My husband and I ordered The OG and the SoCal burrito - we ended up sharing and took half of the burrito each so that we were able to add some variety to the meal. I paid $6 for two tacos that were completely dry and flavorless. You can't seriously call that birria--it had no color, no seasoning, nothing. The vegan burrito is heavy.. it's at least 2 servings, packed with zucchini, cactus, onions, rice, beans - I added hot sauce and it was really good. The nachos are also a massive portion, they add A LOT of toppings (queso, guac, beans etc) so I would get an extra order of chips so they're crispy and you can finish the toppings. So good! I've gotten Bad Boy so many times now and have yet to be disappointed. My all time favorite is their SoCal burrito! It's the perfect burrito. Their shop is small, with only a couple tables, so I always order to go. They have always been quick and on time and I've never had to wait long for my order. It's a little pricier than I normally pay for a burrito but you definitely get what you pay for! It's a good size and very filling! Wait? Do I get to be the first one to tell you how AMAZING this place is? Every time I've eaten here has been consistently delicious and every person I've told to try it, has also fallen in love. My highlights are the Birria tacos, the pork belly, the Mexican street corn, and the churros. The flavor of the meat is to die for, you can tell a lot of time and love went into each meat. The pork belly melts in your mouth. The toppings and flavorings on all of the tacos have been fresh and absolutely perfect. The churros are an amazing end to the meal. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The caramel sauce just adds the perfect touch. Prices are more than fair for the food you get and they always pack it so well. I had the Bistec & Cheese quesadilla which has carne asada, carmelized onions, avacado, Oaxaca cheese and a cheddar crust. Not only was it the best quesadilla I ever had, it was huge . Steak was cooked perfectly and the onions,avacado and cheeses were the perfect addition to it . I also had a side of chips with grilled jalapeno queso. The (very large bag of) chips was warm when I got them, the queso was warm, spicy and also perfect place to dip my quesadillas. Let me write that out again for you, BISTEC AND CHEESE QUESADILLA. Please go try it and thank me later!
