Carlos did a great jo explaining how to out on the sensors. The walked us into the Vr area and helped put on our eye and head sets. Lastly he showed us how to hold the weapons. WHAT AN AMAZING FIRST TIME VR EXPERIENCE. The place is located in the grand canal shoppes right next to the Shoe palace. Not hard to find you just have to look at the maps provided in the shoppes. We were given clear instructions about how to use the VR set & what to do. We had an option to purchase a Japanese snack box for the group, but we didn't end up going with it. You are required to take a picture for a video they will provide of your VR gaming experience. They had us pick "gamer tag" names & a team name. It was such a great experience. It was hot so don't wear anything heavy. Something light and comfortable is recommended. We were given a video of our experience and it was so fun to watch. They go over stats and announce the MVP member with the most points. It's easy and fun to do. Payment was $65 per person but if you go again within two weeks they will give you 20% off! read more

It was an okay experience . Con was making an appointment but still waiting about 25 min to go in. It's fun with your group. Graphics could have been better. You will get hot, so dress lightly. My family did the Deadwood Mansion. Kids def loved it though. Listen you cannot see your belongings once the VR is on face, so keep important stuff in your pocket. We "attempted" to play a game here one afternoon. The game was riddled with technical difficulties throughout our session. Although the experience was less than preferred, the staff was helpful and understanding. The manager refunded us what we paid in full. I was able to experience the DEADWOOD VALLEY adventure although the game play and experience was fun, I experienced way too many technical problems. Gameplay: 4/5 - The setting/story is fun. - Shooting Zombies is fun. - Point is deducted due to the calibration inside VR, I could definitely feel lag between my input and the controls at times (not an issue all the time but random intervals of bad calibration/input/output) Staff: 5/5 - Staff was extremely helpful, attentive and kind. Experience: 2.5/5 - The experience was not as good due to having multiple technical difficulties. - I experienced bluescreen (VR exited out of the game and glitched) - My gun sometimes not reload/shoot, at one point it turned invisible and I had no gun. - My microphone had a lot of difficulty, a lot of the time my friends could not hear hear me or I was quiet, when I tried to adjust the mic to be closer to my face it would not stay. To talk to my friend I needed to manually hold it in front of my mouth when talking. - There was a point in time the VR was not aligned/balanced properly and gave me severe nausea/motion sickness. (Once I said the safeword the staff quickly came along and recalibrated). - However with each issue the staff did quickly come along an help. But the issue still lies with the fact that I had to call for help multiple times for different issues that did sour my experience. Recommendation: - Check all equipment for issues, my friends had some slight issues but not as much as me. read more

They should consider offering a monthly service. We had so much fun that signing up to go twice a week for a discounted rate is a no brainer. This really lived up to my expectations. I did the amber sky scenario and the game looked even better in first person compared to the advertisements! The gear this place has essentially makes it 4D, giving you a vibrating vest, vibrating weapons, and fans that blow on you to simulate wind. It may sound tacky, but it feels SO real and is a must try. To top it off, one of the "classes" in amber sky to choose from gets a shield and the responsiveness of the shield felt so realistic with such finely crafted physics. This experience is well worth the money and if you are into gaming, definitely give this a try!!! read more

So the Sandbox VR replaced The Void over at Venetian and i won't lie I was very sad when Void closed. Sandbox randomly popped up today on my Instagram and since it was kind of a dreary and rainy day I thought why not go shoot some zombies. I'm super glad I did. I booked a ticket and got paired with two people at random for a zombie annihilating adventure. When I got to the Sandbox I was treated like an old friend. All the employees were super nice and super geeky gaming nerds like me who were thrilled to have me try out the game. The experience lasts about 40 or so minutes depending on how well you shoot and honestly when it was over I was satisfied but left definitely wanting to try the other experiences. The Sandbox is FULLY immersive and really no words can describe it. You feel like you're actually in an abandoned town or creepy mansion shooting zombies. When you wave, your avatar waves, when you move your gun in a certain motion your avatar moves in the same motion. When you look down you see your armor, torso, and legs. It's a truly immersive and intense experience and I'll definitely be back to try the Star Trek and Deadwood Manor experiences! read more

Our first time with Sandbox VR. My boyfriend and I were able to walk in and make a reservation about an hour out. We chose Squid Game and were paired up with two others. You basically sign waivers, get on the wrist and ankle trackers, choose a team name, and then get profile pictures. Then you go into the room for your experience set up. For this one we wore vests (there's rumble if/when you die!), the VR headset, and headphones. They have a place for you to store bags or anything that you don't want to lose, and a bench for people to sit if they aren't playing. You'll be very active, so next time I would definitely take off my jacket ahead of time, though I think they turned on fans. We got to see our videos right away which was nice and then they were emailed to us. This was so much fun, we will definitely go again once we get back to Seattle. Thank you to Ryan for his patience. The first time that my husband and I came, we had so much fun that we couldn't wait to come back. A month later we decided to do so. my husband and I arrived about five minutes early and seen other people were added to our timeslot, which was to be expected and fine what wasn't fine we're all of the issues that followed after. The other people arrived on time yet somehow we didn't start our game until 40 minutes later the employee helping us then let one of those people from the group, pull them off the side privately and request that they change the game that we were to play even though my husband and I already picked and paid for a specific game. my husband and I weren't aware of the game change until we were literally in the game and it started and my husband and I were incredibly confused. The other group argued a little bit and then the employee decided to pull my husband and I out of the game and make us wait an additional 30 minutes and put us in a completely different group that ended up having a little kid in it which isn't a huge deal but we had to carry him the entire time. the only thing they did to recite the situation is say "sorry" but we ultimately were there WAY longer than anticipated. furthermore the game was pretty glitchy . guns kept getting stuck in the air. and my best was missing a strap and the trackers were pretty beat up.incredibly frustrating and disorganized.lastly the building they operate in is WAY to small for how busy it is. after our last experience we have NO intentions of returning or suggesting this to friends. read more

For the price you pay ($65 per person), you would expect a premium experience. It is NOT. We got there early, but ended up waiting almost 30 minutes past our scheduled game time. I couldn't understand why until we got into the VR room. Our group's computer backpacks kept blanking out. 3/4 of our players kept getting no image, or badly skewed images in our headsets before we even started, leading the staff to reboot the servers and swap out our backpacks multiple times. Once we were finally all loaded in, guess what? 2 minutes into the game, ALL our headsets started crapping out again, requiring several game pauses, more reboots and more backpack swaps. I actually had to wait several minutes for the staff to come back from fixing ANOTHER group's game while the rest of mine kept playing without me, as all I could see was a test pattern in my headset, and there was nobody in our room to pause the game to fix the issue. The "game" took at least twice as long as it should have due to all the pausing/fixing. The staff were nice enough, and apologetic, but we weren't offered a refund/discount on our experience, nor even a % off our next visit. They just took off our gear and showed us the door. I have spoken to other people who have had similar experiences here, so it seems this is a known issue. Either fix it, or price it at about $25. It would be a really fun thing to do, if the computers were working as advertised. What's the point of VR if you have to pause/reboot the game or swap out your gear 5-6 times in 15 minutes? Pretty disappointing, and we won't be back. read more

Yesterday while in this establishment my wife and I were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We we're looking forward to this experience. You must prebook which we did. The six white men only 2 of them had tickets so they stood there and booked the other four. One gentleman approach me and ask if i mind waiting a gave me the for-mentioned information . I said yes i do we have another engagement to be at. Sadly they let them go before us. The icing on the cake was after realized what happened i ask when were we going in the guys says after those gentleman. We were there before them waiting on our pre-booked time. i asked how this could happen and he said CALM DOWN LADY ITS JUST 20 MINUTES. There were 5 guys working and one young lady. They bullied her too because as we were leaving she is crying my wife had to give her a hug and let her know we saw what happened. So just know this is the first action.
