We played Deadwood Phobia, and it was an absolute blast. The immersive experience is next-level--you truly feel like you're inside the game, working together and reacting in real time. It's the kind of activity that brings everyone together, whether it's your first time or your fifth. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, patient, If you're looking for something different, interactive, looking for a great workout, and genuinely fun for family or friends, this is it. Who says playing video games is not exercise ?? Well it isn't until you play VR video games. OMG funnest work out ever!! I broke a sweat and had an absolute blast. My daughter and I noticed this location after dinner the other night. I've seen the place in another state and never had time to go try it. So we said let's do it. We chose squid games because I mean who wouldn't try squid games in VR where it's at least safe. Hahahah I had to admit she beat me. This was very humbling as I believe I am quite competitive. Yet I will get a rematch one day. Now we did good with not running into walls or each other and two show you a safety video and remind you before the game how to manage that. The equipment is not heavy and easy to get on and off. They sanitize between sessions so you are guaranteed clean equipment. I only took the picture outside I think it's best to keep it suspenseful. So you will have to go to see more!! Oh sessions are like 30 mins. It take about 10 mins to get set up. So plan for an hour. Again. Great experience for all ages!! Heheh read more

Probably one of the cooler things I've done in a while! I went with friends to do their Squid Game VR experience, and it's incredible what technology can do now. They have you gear up with wrist and ankle sensors (I would wear comfortable clothes and shoes- think workout gear!) and once you're in the room they help you with your headset. If you're wearing makeup you will definitely sweat it off. There's a microphone on the headsets that lets you talk with everyone around you, and the games are fun, interactive, and definitely make you break a sweat! Staff is accommodating and helpful, and checking in was seamless. It's a bit of a pricier activity but definitely something to try at least once! read more

We are visiting from out of town and we found this place on a whim. We played the Seekers of the Shard on one day and because my husband loved it so much, we did Rebel Moon on the second day. I am not great at VR (we have an Oculus at home) because I tend to get vertigo. But the games are rendered in excellent detail and because we can see our bodies, the vertigo is non-existent for me which was surprising in a good way. The games have an engaging plot and a short tutorial before starting the main story for non-experienced players like me. Controls are intuitive so it's not hard to learn. It is a little physical and if you want an actual good score it may require some ducking or kneeling (I just continued to die). The facility and gear is clean and well kept. The staff (Joey and Umar on one day and Joey and Javier on the other day - sorry to them for butchering names ) were friendly and professional. They will help gear you up. If you are a bigger human, never fear, the gear is quite adjustable! Bring water - you do burn some calories playing if you are actually trying to burn points. Otherwise, they sell water in reusable aluminum bottles for $5 a piece. Parking can be found in the building ($2 per 20 minutes). Sandbox VR is an excellent way to burn a bit of an afternoon and we would highly recommend it! P.S. If you have a fear of spiders, please ask for arachnaphobia mode. read more

Me and my son had a great time. I booked a session and we started about 5 mins after our booking time which was okay. I didn't book a private session but we ended up getting our own room anyway which was nice. That could be because it wasn't very busy at the time we went but idk. Umair is great and helped us every step of the way. A couple glitches with the squid games game but it helps that there are multiple games within one session. We enjoyed ourselves nonetheless and will be back again. read more

I've been to a couple different VR places and I have to say this was my least favorite. To start, they encourage you to come 15-20 min early. When we arrived they said they were running 30 min behind, so we actually had to wait almost an hour. Why couldn't someone notify us? It's not like they had my contact information when I made reservations. When we finally got geared up for our game, they place you in a little box with very limited space to roam. Half the time I had issues with my headset, limiting my view and causing me to die multiple times. Throughout the game I kept mentioning that I was having issues, hoping someone would come and address it but that didn't happen. Overall for $60/pp I expected a better experience but was very disappointed. read more

From the moment we started, there were constant issues with the equipment. Instead of enjoying the VR experience, the staff spent most of the time stopping and restarting the equipment, trying to fix problems that kept happening over and over. Even after they claimed the issue was resolved, the same headset continued to shut off in the middle of the experience, repeatedly interrupting the session and making it impossible to enjoy. It was frustrating and honestly unfair to the person using it. What made the situation even worse was the lack of accountability. Despite the ongoing problems and the fact that the equipment clearly wasn't functioning properly, they refused to provide a refund, even after I specifically requested one. It was extremely disappointing to pay full price for something that never worked the way it was supposed to. I made a reservation at 9:35Pm, paid $240 for my boyfriend & I to play the squid games game. We checked in at 9:14pm and waited. An employee checked in multiple times with us about the name & reservation. Finally at 9:51pm they told us it would be another 30 mins till a room would be available. I then asked for a refund because we did not want to wait an hour after our reservations. (what's the point of a reservation if walk ins or all the rooms are busy for 30 more mins past our reservation) The employee told us that they're not allowed to do refunds & I could only get store credit that only goes towards that location. We're not from sacramento so basically I just lost $240 to this company. 0 STARS read more
