For the 1st time in my adult life, I finally got a chance to socially paint with friends and family. It was exciting and I was confident I was about to produce the most average rendition of whatever I was supposed to copy. I have to say, I had a blast. I loved every element of this outing. I enjoyed sitting! I love sitting. I enjoyed the easy access to the bar chocked full of great signature libations and tasty bar level bites at the ready. For this particular night I was celebrating a family member's birthday and we were about 20 deep ages kid to old! Our painting was done under neon lights and I loved how interactive our host was! I believe her name was Riley! I want to give her credit for working with our group and keeping us entertained with jokes and great music. Vibes were up! She was also an amazing artist and made everything look so easy! She was great with directions and when the lights went on at the end of the painting, I was really happy with my work! Im not artistically gifted outside of stick figures, and a clean "Cool S" This experience was great. I want to do this again! If you haven't done a paint night with the friends or Fam, I would say it's a worthwhile experience!

Such a fun and great experience! I've gone here a couple times and really enjoy the relaxed vibes and the food and drink available for purchase. I enjoy their mango mocktail too! The instructors are quirky and fun, but not stressful! They're kind. They also have a good deal on their paintings for purchase, $5 each!

Came for a pain class with some family and I must say it was an incredible experience. Everything is set out for you paint brushes, as well as canvas. A instructor goes through each and every step while painting with you the instructions are super easy and you can always ask questions. You're also free to make it your own if you would not like to follow the instructions. Teacher gives you plenty of time to work at your own pace. They also have a bar and food options. I got the shark bite which tasted incredible super sweet. We also tried out the Moscato. Very delicious. They have an array of food items like pizzas and shareable appetizers lovely place to try out with friends or family or even just on your own. I saw that they also do mosaics so definitely come and check this place out. I will be back.

I wish I could give zero stars for how dishonest and unprofessional this location is. I've been to Pinot's Palette Elk Grove before and enjoyed the classes, but what happened recently completely changed my opinion. I missed a class due to a minor car accident right before it started. I immediately called the Elk Grove studio directly (twice) and emailed the studio email listed on their own website -- I have time-stamped proof of both. I never received a call back or response. Over a month later, I finally got an email from the studio manager claiming I contacted the wrong place (not true) -- and worse, an entire month later they FALSELY told my credit card company that I attended the class, which is a complete lie as you can tell by their titled email. All I originally asked for was a class credit, not a refund. Instead, they ignored my communication, misrepresented the situation, and fought to take my money after falsely reporting that I showed up purely out of spite for "losing money" as their email stated and seemed to be all they worried about. I don't understand how they even lost money if I never came to a class, which means I never used their materials or their canvas which they were able to put right back to use for someone else. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a business that's supposed to be built on community and fun. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone -- they don't value honesty or their loyal customers, all they want is your money so if you are in an emergency, don't expect them to be understanding. Save your time and find somewhere else to go.

I've been here twice for candle making classes. Both were great experiences and slightly different from each other. Both experiences the staff were super friendly and helpful. The bartender (who also ran the paint class) was helpful and had good flavor suggestions for mimosas. Most recently I visited in a large group. We enjoyed the $20 bottomless mimosas and a variety of finger foods. The candle making class is so beginner friendly and does not require much artistic ability. There were a handful of free vessels to choose from, and a variety upgrade options. There were about 30 different scents to choose from. In the first candle class I did here they gave us time to decorate the vessel prior to pouring the wax so you could tilt it to glue things on. This time we did the scent and wax first and decorated it from the upright position which made some glue and items drip. There are a bunch of different rocks, crystals, glitter, ribbons, etc to choose from for decorating the outside of the vessel and the top of the wax.

My friends and I came here for the candle making class. It was so much fun! The candle making room is separated from the painting room. First, each person picks their own candle vessel. Each vessel are color tagged. If the tag is white, there is no additional charge. If other colors, there will be additional cost. After, you go to your assigned seat. Our instructor gave us all the instructions and how things work. She was very informative and energetic. She then separated the class into groups to pick out their scents to add into the wax. There are around 50 fragrance scents to choose from. After choosing your fragrance, you can select all the available decorations to add to your wax or outside the vessel. For the wax, the staff will prepare and weigh it for you. I really wanted mine to look nice but I did the best I could as time wasn't my best friend lol. Show your creative side!

My daughter and I had such an amazing time here. They have everyone nicely separated so you don't feel stuffy. The staff was all friendly and we had such a blast. My daughter was so excited to hang our paintings in her room once we got home.

I've been to this location 3x now and it's has consistently been a great experience. The instructor has always been friendly, helpful and has great energy. I am not a painter but they do such a good job in having you follow along. They encourage you to have fun and not take it so seriously which is nice since not everyone has painting experience. They also have a bar with drinks and food. You can also bring your own wine with a corkage fee. Highly recommend if you're looking for an activity to do.

I have 0 artistic skills and was not expecting to enjoy the class much. A friend set it up and I was blown away! We went early to grab drinks and food and it was great. Stacy was so friendly and passionate and the instructor was awesome. The techniques were taught so well even I could do it It was incredibly relaxing, I will absolutely be back.

Loved the class ! . I recently attended an art and it was a fantastic experience! The instructor, a talented artist herself, provided a perfect blend of guidance and freedom, encouraging us to explore our creativity while teaching essential techniques. The class size was small, allowing for personalized feedback and interaction. Great service from the restaurant/bar staff .

Class sample. Notice the flowers were painted with a WIDE brush and details added with a small brush.

Our experience was nice. Not thrilling, but nice. The class was really popular, so they opened it to a few more people, which I appreciated since I was waitlisted. They put us in a small room, which is fine because the main room was FULL. What I signed up for was a really pretty, spring hued painting. What I took home was moody. What I signed up for had large flowers. What I took home had small flowers. What I saw in the main room upon my exit were paintings that more closely resembled what I thought I was signing up for. The colors were more like the class sample, the design was more like the class sample. Everyone appeared to feel confident and happy with their creations. Our instructor acted bored and like she came in on her day off. I don't know, but I suspect she was telling us to use the wrong colors at the wrong time and also the wrong size brushes, especially for the flowers. The instructor's painting looked NOTHING like the class sample. If SHE couldn't do it, how could we? I think she was learning to paint it at the same time we did & really didn't know what she was doing. Our room was very quiet. No one was talking. One of the bar servers even mentioned how quiet it was. I've heard of "fun" and "lively" instructors with personality at this location, not that I wanted her to spin plates & ride a unicycle or anything, but DANG. Since today is a holiday celebrating moms, why couldn't our classroom have had a more cheerful energy? We took a break to let our canvases dry a bit & while I used the opportunity to get clean water for my brushes, I noticed an entirely different vibe in the main room. People were light and having a good time. It would be nice if an instructor name was posted with classes going forward because if I ever came back, I would not want today's instructor again.

Hello, if the class is 3-6pm , is that the whole duration we have to be there?

From both perspectives, I can honestly say this venue is exceptional. As a vendor, I felt incredibly supported. The staff was kind, helpful, and extremely accommodating - offering clear direction, checking in throughout the day, and making sure I had everything I needed to set up and serve with ease. It's rare to work with a venue that treats vendors like valued collaborators, but Lakeview truly did. As a guest, I got to see another level of excellence. The entire event ran seamlessly. Last-minute changes (like additions to bar and food service) were handled quickly and without a hitch. The staff was attentive, well-coordinated, and clearly experienced at handling all the behind-the-scenes details that make a celebration flow beautifully. Special shout-out to Melanie, who was nothing short of phenomenal. Her coordination of extra services and flexibility made the whole day feel effortless for everyone involved. The venue itself is stunning, but it's the people who make it unforgettable.
