Stumbled upon this place after eating Thanksgiving lunch. $5 for half an hour of free play. They have numerous pinball games (ranging from classic 60s to modern). Usually when my father comes from out of town to visit he wants to swing by old Sacramento. Not to often do things change, I think but most recently we noticed a sign for a new pinball arcade inside and so we were off to check it out. The guy at the front desk was super friendly and explained it all to us. We basically paid $5 each for thirty minutes of free play. At first my father thought it was silly but three minutes in and he was transformed into a kid again and was bouncing machine to machine like a pinball himself. We really had a blast playing all the different themed pinball machines. With some of my favorites being the X-men, Game of Thrones, Monopoly, and various others. Those thirty minutes flew by but we will for sure be back when in the area. They even have snacks & beer, an a billiard table. Didn't happen to see if they had darts though. read more

On top of being very nice, there were foldable step stools for anyone needing a little help with height. And the absolute sweetest shop pup, Corbin. I was so impressed with the variety and nice selection of machines. The place is clean and the staff is really nice. This is the premier spot to play pinball in Sacramento. With 30 machines (and counting!) in pristine condition, this place is not to be missed by pinball pros and newbies alike. They have games from all eras and are all in excellent condition. The owner is on site and constantly working on machines to ensure they play like new. No quarters? No problem. There's a coin machine on site and the owner even offered to take Venmo in exchange for quarters. He will do what it takes to make sure the most people have access to this community. As of now they do not have food and drink on site but that also means more room for more pinball and more fun for all ages. We came back two nights in a row when we were in town for a wedding and were so excited to bring family back the second night. Everyone had a great time and got such a positive experience with one of our favorite pastimes. My only complaint would be the number of broken games. There were 9 games down today, including 2 that were down when I came in a month ago. We recently visited this establishment with our 2-year-old daughter & son, excited for a family-friendly outing. While we were there, my husband was helping our toddler play a pinball machine since she couldn't reach the button on her own. When she needed to use the restroom, I took her while he waited nearby. To our shock, when I returned, the owner & two other employees was publicly & VERY LOUDLY yelling at my husband in front of our children accusing him of being a thief simply for helping our daughter play a game because he didn't have a $5 wristband while he was helping her play the game. There was absolutely no reason for such hostility. No rules were broken, no theft occurred, and the way this was handled was completely uncalled for. We were deeply embarrassed, confused, and hurt not just for ourselves but for our 2 year daughter , and 8yr old son who witnessed it. We came for a wholesome, family-oriented experience and instead were treated with disrespect and aggression. I strongly urge families to think twice before visiting a place where basic kindness, communication, and respect are so lacking especially toward parents just trying to make a memory with their child. read more

Had fun going to the place, staff is cool , they have an atm on site in case you didn't bring cash and honestly just keeping the place dedicated to the machines gives it quality! I came in with two other people awhile ago to check out the place and play some pinball but when we talked with the owner it seemed like he didn't really want us there. He was very standoffish and kind of rude and gave us very short, curt answers when we asked him about the place. He was more interested in talking to people who I assume were his friends instead of bringing people in. We didn't feel welcomed at all and couldn't get any real answer about how their gameplay works so we left. We also noticed half of their pinball machines were closed off for just a select few and only half of them were lit up. Maybe it was just a once off and they are doing better now or maybe that's just how he runs things. read more
