I hired these guys with there amazing crew to perform a basic duct cleaning as well as clean out my…read moredryer vent.  I could not have been more pleased with the service I received.  They called ahead of there arrival (which was a little early - imagine that!).  They clearly explained what they would be doing and the charges involved.  While performing there initial inspection, they pointed out that we could benefit from a brushing of our supply vents.  They showed me the evidence of all the dirt and grime so I didn't feel like I was being "upsold."  They explained that I didn't have to do everything at once either - we could spread out the cleanings and expenses as our budget allowed.  I felt like there were honest and not pushing additional services at us unnecessarily.   The work was well done, completed in the time frame he described, and the charges were fair.  They weren't the cheapest and wasn't the most expensive - but I feel with these guys the quality and service more than justifies the price.  I would not hesitate to use these guys again - in fact, I'm sure I will be calling them next Spring!

N.E.R.T. stands for Neighborhood Emergency Response Team. It was established after the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989. In a major catastrophe, all First Responders will be inundated with emergency calls everywhere in the City. All resources will be stretched thin and the civilian population will have to fend for themselves for several hours and maybe even days. Expect infrastructures to be damaged and public services will be minimal to nonexistent. This is a worst-case scenario. It may happen...and it has happened. Living in the Bay Area under numerous fault lines, we've heard the phrase, "It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when" so many times before. Remember that this side of the bay is heading south and LaLa land will be up here in the bay in a fraction of an earth time minute. That's roughly equivalent to when the dinosaurs became extinct to when the first ape-like creatures began standing on their hind legs. Yes, most of us won't be around by then, but that's just the facts. Here are some questions you really should ask yourselves: Are you prepared? Do you know what to do during and after an earthquake? Do you have a plan? How do you communicate with your family and loved ones? Do you know how to shut off your gas and water line? Do you have enough food and water to last you for more than 72 hours? What is cribbing? Do you have first-aid kits? There are more questions on the list, but these are the critical ones. N.E.R.T. is a training course facilitated by the SFFD. It's FREE to all San Francisco residents or if you work in the City. You can have the option of taking the six-week course or do it all in one day. They will teach you lifesaving techniques and simply knowing what to do is crucial. You don't want to be that person panicking and running around like a chicken with its head cut off making it worst for everyone else. Once you become certified, you get a hardhat, a vest and an ID. You can also participate in city-wide drills via notification from email if you choose to sign-up. Having taken this training, I am constantly prepared and the most important thing I have taken from this class is having enough water to last your family for 72 hours or more. I always go to Costco and buy 6 cases at a time and rotate them. I also bought a multipurpose tool just in case the big one hits and this tool will be more valuable than gold after the big one hits. Remember...it's WHEN not IF. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and take this training. You can make it a family affair as it could be a lifesaver. Best thing of all is it doesn't cost a penny.

I purchased roof panels with waves and should be installed a certain way for if it rains, the water should flow downward and not get stuck between the waves/ridges. This company cut the panels the wrong direction which, if install will not allow for things to flow as intended. Between the late delivery (result in loss time and money with the contractor), delivering materials that can not be installed, and just unsatisfactory customer service provide not a great experience. This company does not own up to their mistake nor do they want to correct their mistake. They refuse to cut the panels and deliver the new panels. I just want to share my experience with everyone who have reached out to this company. They are unprofessional. Truly disappointed with the whole experience.

The sewage water spread to my hallway floors then into my bedroom and smelt horrible. Within an hour of contacting Steamatic they came out. They came just in time before it reached my moving boxes. Not only did they have an innovative way of removing the contaminated material, but they did it accurately, quickly and professionally. The workers were very careful with the removal operation, cleaned up and took care of everything. The repair of the pipe was done by Belfast Plumbing (see my review of them, they were great too). The estimate was fair and we would definitely use them again - though I hope we never have a sewage pipe break again.
