Turkey sandwich special- with avocado, micro greens, and aioli
    Abe R.

I have been wanting to try this place for months. It's a lunch deli that's attached to Helfer's bakery in Florissant. Problem is my schedule has not worked out and it's tough to make it there on the weekends for me. Finally was able to do it!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A smallish dining area if you choose to eat there and it's in a very welcoming environment[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The gentleman who took my order super friendly and efficient, and I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The soup had great flavor and somehow they managed to do the sides perfectly! The potato salad and pasta salad were done with just the right combination. I think most places put too much mayo/mustard in their potato salad, but this had just the right amount creamy, but not too much so. Pasta salad was simple but tasty. Buffalo chicken dip which I certainly didn't need but I wanted, had really good flavor and it was a bit different in that it did not have shredded chicken, but chunks of chicken. The garlic bread toasted pieces was a different spin, but I enjoyed the experience. While the sandwich was tasty the only reason I didn't give this place five stars is I thought the meat the bread ratio was maybe a little off and it was made with the crunch bread which is my first experience and it was definitely crunchy. I am definitely going to come back and try a couple of other sandwiches. Flavor was good and you can tell they have quality ingredients. The sandwich just didn't knock me off my seat, but it was good no doubt about it. I can see the excitement about big belly deli, and I will definitely give some of the other sandwiches a shot !

Being a long time resident of NoCo, it's awesome to see a new sandwich shop. The menu has many options, but for the 1st go, I had to get the chicken Bacon Ranch. Ordered online and hour in advance of my pick-up time and when I arrived my order was ready! In and out back in the car in less than 3 min. This sandwich is heavy! Ample chicken for sure! Bread holds up really well. Needed salt n pepper, but that wasn't a big deal. Overall, definitely worth the price and very filling. Will definitely become a go to for lunch!

Big Belly Deli is so close to my house but I have not gotten to visit yet. The service was so quick and easy. They were able accommodate my order changes. The food was fresh and very filling! I thought it was kind pricy but very worth going and returning. If you have to gone please try. And get a sweet treat next door.

I thought this was a new place, due to the lack of reviews (only 8). And I had it bookmarked, so was excited to try a new place. Well, if the business is new, they didn't do ANYTHING with the building! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was disgusting in most ways. Flooring was horrible. Most counters and tables needed wiping down really bad[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. If the food had been good, it might have been ignorable, but the Adult Grilled Cheese was lacking in flavor, and not very big. The soup was good, but didn't make up for the rest. Definitely NOT worth the money! I paid $15.26 for what you see in the picture. And, no, the price didn't include a drink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance? Well, dirty[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]... I won't be back.

The type of sandwich you will later on crave !!! It was pricy but so worth it ! I got the Roasted Garlic Chicken club with the potato soup !!! The soup was thick with chunks of potato in it very tasty, my daughter got the sandwich which you dip in gravy all on the Ditch bread !! The potato salad was like her grandma's . Very tasty! They did run out of the Fritz's fountain soda

This is one of the best sandwich shops around. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place looks old in the inside but the food was good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I grabbed three sandwiches, the big belly, the caprese and the Italian. All three sandwiches were good but my favorite has to be the caprese. It was fresh with the veggies and the chicken was tender!! Absolutely recommend this spot!! Oh and I walked out with a wrong sandwich came back and they replaced it with no problem, great customer service!

Their sandwiches were pretty tasty. Will need come back and try their other types of sandwiches. There is also a neat bakery next door that I will also have to look into.

First-timer. Let's see what if I agree with the rave reviews.

This location lives up to the glowing reviews! Three reasons why you should go: 1. The food, think deli meets layered meats and condiments without the encouragement. Highly recommend the Three Amigos! The sandwich was packed with flavor, three different meats piled heavy, and a crusty bread. I prefer my sandwiches condiment moderate to heavy and I did not have to add anything! I paired my sandwich with a half house salad with their house made ranch. Very delicious! 2. The service was not slow but also not swift. I waited roughly five minutes which is typical. 3. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is cozy and tiny. You can dine in and there are spirit options available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is housed in old Florissant and gives the neighborhood deli feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

But after an intense Costco trip, we were wanting a hearty sandwich. They are located in a strip mall, where they are many other busy businesses so parking can be a little tough. But going in, they were packed! Tip to tail, it was just people trying to get their food. And, that was us waiting a while to come in to pick up our goods. So, absolutely order ahead because it will make it somewhat easier. We ordered: The JD Cold Shoulder - cold cuts on a garlic roll with chipotle ranch. My husband loved his, and glad he ordered it with the garlic roll. Joe's Spicy Italian - this was spicy and sweet, and it really hits when you love a good spicy italian sandwich. You can choose your bread, and I opted for mine to be on a French roll. Great sandwiches, long wait, but just really good and worth the wait!

Well, they were kind enough to "surprise me." Yes, that's an option! My sandwich was spicy, sweet, saucy and delicious. My four "must haves" when it comes to a sandwich. I love to overindulge on a good sub. The people that worked here were awesome and super friendly! The customers were even kind and friendly to one another. I highly suggest trying this place SOON! **my one caveat is that it is a bit pricey, but my coworkers and I all agreed, it's well worth the money!!**

We didn't know the area well and the last few lunches we had at this location were average. One girl that used to work in the area, came up and said "oh, we have to go to Paul's market! ". I was skeptical because it sounded like we were having lunch at a grocery store. Turned out, it was a butcher shop and deli with a great menu. We were a fairly big group and they worked their way through our orders efficiently as well as the other customers. They gave the kind of service I like when I eat out. I asked them what the best item on the menu was they asked me a couple questions, gave me a recommendation. (the Italian stallion.) and asked me some follow up questions about condiments, they answered a few more questions and they delivered! When I was looking at sides to have with it, he told me the sandwich was " hefty". He was he was right. A lot of times when I'm out for a quick bite I might swing by a Jimmy John's or a subway just to get a quick sandwich, but this was an example of why it's always best to go local. While we were in the ordering process, the guy who looked like the butcher and was also the owner came over to check and make sure we were getting our needs met. He was very busy, but he even made it outside once we all were served to check on things and thank us for coming by. I had a chance to look around and noticed the full valley of barbecue fried chicken and all their sides. I went over and looked at the meat counter in the steaks and other items looked fantastic. Not what you find at the grocery store. As someone who worked in the food service industry in high school and college, my standards for good service are relatively high. This experience reminded me of my days at a locally owned family run business with great food and great service and a responsive staff. Now that I know where this is when I'm in North County that's where I'll be stopping
