First off this is directed towards the service department only. I brought my at truck in for a strange whine coming from around the transmission area in August. It was there for two weeks and after WE called them the service manager said it was ring and pinion gears and the parts would have to be ordered. Fair enough, I paid for the stuff and after another month the part arrives. Long story short, The ring and pinion gears were not the issue. This began three months of them replacing parts to avail and through this whole process we barely heard a word from them. No status updates nothing. They finally take a look at the transmission and found out it was a bearing between the transmission and the transfer case. At this point it is November,almost Thanksgiving, and I'm still without a truck so I'm kind of fed up with the whole process. The dealership did offer to put a rebuilt transmission at no charge in the truck. I agreed, why wouldn't I, and a week later it was in the truck. Everything was fine except they broke my shifter cable so drive was neutral and park was between park and reverse. When questioned about it the lead technician got all pissy about it and said it wasn't his problem anymore. But not only that another technician yelled at my father. They tried to blame us when there was nothing wrong with the shifter until they broke it. We made them fix this. So after this whole ordeal my truck is fixed but these are some of the rudest and unprofessional people in the business. Stay away. read more

Worst experience with a dealership. Do not take your car here. Horrible communication from staff. Went to pick up car and they said we need more work done after giving them over $1600. Drove less than a mile away after picking car up and it broke down and started smoking. Dealership refused to have it towed back. NEVER take your car here. read more

Morons in the service department. On 22 Aug 2018 I scheduled service for me RV on a recall and to get my tires rotated. I arrived and after I drove all the way there the said they couldn't lift the RV event though I told the prior the size of my RV. They are really stupid there, don't go to this place, not to mention management is too busy to talk to customers, won't call back and are "not available at the dealership". Best experience with buying a car twice in 3 months! Bought a car in September and had a wonderful experience. Quick easy. Husband wrecked new vehicle so we went back to get the same car and we located one nearby to get transferred to us. It fell through due to the other dealership in D'iberville who lied to us etc. (whole other review for those folks!). Anyhow same day, Chris Farber and the team at Sandy Sansing found me a better vehicle and made it happen! I am sooo happy! Ralph in finance dept is amazing. Straightforward and true people all around. Was driving home the same day my original deal was messed up and in a better car! We are on vacation in Daphne, Al went the check engine light illuminated. When you combine it with the nail in the front driver's tire it was time to take the Explorer to the shop. I was very impressed with my Service Adviser, Maddox. It took less than two hours to replace the fuel purge valve and patch the tire. Based on my experience I recommend them. read more

Last week I went with engine code in hand and part number to the dealer and told him what I needed done to my car. I already had the codes read and knew the part number. After sitting for a couple of hours they said they didn't have time to do it , ALTHOUGH I HAD AN APPOINTMENT, and that I had to get a rental car for the day. So I paid for a rental car and went home. The next day they called me and told me that they had just run diagnostics, had to order a part ( the one I told them I needed WHEN I FIRST ARRIVED) And it wouldn't be there until Monday. Why were the diagnostics not run in the first couple of hours I sat there during my appointment. Shouldn't that be the FIRST thing that is done? So I took the rental car back that I have only driven 10 miles and paid full day for it,got my car and went home. Third trip up there , after the weekend, I spent five hours waiting for them to fix a part that should've taken about an hour... Only to be told they had ordered the wrong part, put it on my car, (weren't charging me for that), NO KIDDING, And that they still needed to order the correct part which was the original one I told them that I needed, and that I will have to bring the car back again in a day or two when the correct part comes in. In the meantime they did not replace the coolant that they ran out replacing the heater part that they replaced by accident and my coolant light came on on my way home forcing me to buy a $25 bottle of coolant so that My car would not overheat on the way home. I tried to call and tell them but it was 5:31 and the operator refused to put the call through because they close at 5:30 The next day, I tried to call my rep but she had gone home sick. After much ranting about who I COULD talk to, they had her call me from her cell. Cindy the rep told me she would get the part ordered first thing in the morning and it should be there , that I could come in at 11am and would not have to wait at all, that it should not take long to install.. When I told her about not having any coolant , She also told me that the service manager was aware of the ridiculous treatment and all the mistakes, wasted time , and I would be compensated. Forward to next day. My rep is not there...home sick. I show up, car is taken in immediately (supposedly) and I wait, and I wait and I wait. After 3 hours I went to front and ask the rep that was there what was taking so long, was there a problem , like the day before when I had waited 5 hours only to be told there had been a mistake , a problem, and that the car was not getting fixed at all while I sat there?. He was rude and indignant. Informing me multiple times the he was not my service rep and knew nothing about it, I tried to explain the situation and he because more aggravated and stormed out to see if there was a problem. No, he told me, it would be finished in a half and hour. An hour later the car was finally ready. My bill was higher than my estimate. I asked, what about the compensation that Cindy had offered me for the cost of the rental car that I should not have had to get, maybe take off the oil change and tire rotation or a percentage discount. He again informed me that he was not Cindy and didn't know anything about it. I asked him to please find out what the plan was. He nearly yelled at me and gruffly said, WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ? I said, well, start with the oil free oil change and , and before I could say anything else he cut me off, punched a couple of keys on the keyboard, removed the oil change and said THERE , There is you new bill. He had taken only $20 off. Exasperated I paid and left. This was by far the worse display of incompetence, rudeness, lack of customer care and a waste of 4 DAYS OF MY TIME that I have ever encountered. Don't go here. You have been warned. read more

Worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. I leased a 2018 Lincoln mkc from a dealership in Birmingham Alabama then I moved to Daphne. The moon roof cracked so I took it to sansing in Daphne because it's the local Lincoln dealer. They treated my wife and I like second class citizens through the whole process which took a total of four months to complete. Finally the parts came in and they told my wife it would take 3-5 hours. When my wife took it in today they said it would take 7 hours!!!... 7 hours later we didn't hear from them. My wife called and they said it would be done in fifteen minutes. I dropped her off to pick it up and it still wasn't done!! When they were done the service manager told her she was lucky it was done because it was a two day job... After driving it away she noticed that the drivers side seat belt was broken and the moon roof was never cleaned. Thank God I sold the Lincoln and bought an Audi I sure as hell would not want to deal with these unprofessional idiots again!!!! BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE OR SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! read more

We had a vehicle towed to them for repair. It took the service department over a week with one excuse after another. We finally moved the vehicle to a different dealership which repaired it in less than 24 hours. Service manager and service writer were very unprofessional and kept giving us the run around. Found out that they had ordered the wrong part but only found that out from the other dealership that we had the car moved to. At one point I was told by the service writer that he had other customers after I had waited on hold for over 20 minutes. He never came back to the phone or called me back. read more

The Service Department at this dealership are nothing but rip-off artists, who will do anything to get as much money out of you as possible. I received a recall from Ford for a safety issue and was told the fix was free. I dropped my car off and one hour later received a call telling me my "free safety fix" would be $300. It is pretty obvious these crooks could care less about the safety of their customers and only care about soaking you for as much money as possible. It will be well worth your time to drive to Mobile or Pensacola and stay as far away from these con artists as possible. Was there to get my truck brakes serviced and I was told I needed pads, calipers, rotors and hoses. I went by and the mechanic was out test driving a vehicle and he would be back in ten minutes. Ten minutes turned into 35. When the so call mechanic got back he was the service manager. The mechanic had been standing around for some time. LIARS FOR SURE. I question the mechanic about the hoses and why they had to be replaced and he said that was what they normally do. Replace a good working park. I asked that only the pad and calipers be replaced but that was a no go with the SM. He had to replace it all or nothing. He told me to go elsewhere. Sandy Sansing took over Bayview and this is where I bought the truck. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received in my 70 years. I normally do my own service which includes working on my truck brakes but I felt like not doing and I was going to pay someone else. But, I will not be taken advantage of because of my age. I guess I will just have to continue to do it myself. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE even for a go-cart or a wheel barrel. The manual that comes with the truck states to set the parking brake when on an steep inclined. The mechanic couldn't even do this. Parking brakes is suppose to be used when parking on steep inclines as the cable to the transmission will get stretch and the indicator on the column will not match the selection for D, R, N, etc. read more

I have to give one star because they actually fixed one issue with the Explorer after having it for 5 days. The other issues were addressed but shoddy workmanship and extended delays, not to mention the line of bull they shoot you when they can't finish a job. After making a couple attempts to have a recall notice from ford for airbag safety we have been told again that they do not have the parts to do this. It was asked to the service department when the part would be available and I quote he said he did not know his computer does not say. Well this does not set well with me because ford had advised us to go to this dealer on the yellow flyer that we received in the mail. This recall is not a new one it has been public for at least 4 months so I know that the parts are available. This is not how safety is to be handled in my eyes to be blown off a couple of times especially when the flyer says that this could cause serious injuries or death if the airbag deploys. To all that may have this same issue I can tell you after calling ford in Dearborn MI they connected me with Chuck Stevens ford and imagine this they have the part to fix this issue and scheduled me in the next day to have this corrected. I don't know but either ford did not distribute the part to correct this potential fatal problem or Chuck Stevens ford really understands and is concerned with the safety of me and my family read more

purchased a Ford Focus 08 new, had a flat 2 years later and found that there was no spare, no jack and no wrench. When I complained I was informed that they are sold that way and I could purchase the equipment in the parts dept. I called all the Ford dealers in the area and found that Bay view Ford is the only dealer that sends you out without a spare. It's convenient but not worth the grief. read more

Stay away from their service department! I bought a brand new 2015 F150 Super Crew Lariat in July 2015. I also bought an extended warranty and 3 years full service with all synthetic lubes. On the last two service intervals I've taken my vehicle in for service, they messed up something. First time, they left all the lug nuts loose on all four tires after rotate and balance! I'm talking finger tight! Today I discovered that my last oil change earlier in the week, they left the oil cap off the engine and my engine compartment is now covered in engine oil! What the heck???? Before these two issues, they fixed a tire for me and ruined it. Without asking my opinion, they replace my Michelin tire with some off-brand tire, put it under the vehicle as the spare and put the matching spare on the ground... I'm not impressed with this place, lost all confidence in them. read more

Brought my vehicle in to Sandy Sansing Ford-Lincoln dealership in Daphne Al to have AC looked at. It was blowing, but only warm outside air. At first they said it was the Schrader Valve and lines. I ok'd the repair. Then after repair, they said it was the ac compressor. I just had a bad vibe there; so, I ended up paying for Schrader and bringing it to another auto mechanic (non-dealership) to have compressor replaced. After leaving Sandy Sansings I noticed they had left off a part. It was just sitting on passengers floorboard. Later, the new mechanic called and told me my protection pan, skid plate (?name) was missing. He could tell it was recently missing due to the outline marking of dirt. Sandy Sansing Ford dealership had also left that part off! If it wasn't for me me having an uneasy feeling about Sandy Sansings and bringing it to another place, I would have never known the protector/skid plate was missing!!! That makes two different parts, in one service, that they forgot to put back on!!! That's terrible! Beware, stay away from this dealership! Who knows what you'll be missing! If you've already been to this dealership, I'm sure your vehicle is a few pounds lighter..GOOD LUCK! read more

We took our 2014 Expedition in for the first oil change and tire rotation, we had slightly over 4,000 miles on it and even though we have had it for 7 months, it looks like it just came off the show room floor. So...imagine our dismay when we went to pick it up and found the interior was covered with greasy handprints! the steering wheel, dash, handle grips, the driver's side door arm rest, door handle, door panel and greasy foot prints were tracked onto the doorframe. To add insult to injury, the Sandy Sansing employee drove it up to us, jumped out, bid us farewell without even noticing the condition of our vehicle. My husband went inside the service department to complain and they took our car to the rear of the building for 5 minutes brought it back with some of the marks wiped down (you could still see them) and others ignored. Again we told them this was not acceptable so they took it to the back for another 5 minutes and returned it once again in a very slightly better condition. We finally took our car home and examined it and found oil spilled on the engine, dried oil on the outside of the hood and on the sides. Oily, greasy handprints absolutely covered the front end of our car. A vehicle represents a major investment for our family and to have service performed by a dealership we thought was reputable only to find out that they place no value on customer's cars, have no pride in their work, and have a total disregard for protecting their customer's investment. read more
