However, I must note that the provider who attended me seemed rather detached from my concerns -- as if the priority was billing my health insurance rather than addressing my needs. And, honestly, an eye care practitioner wearing extremely thick false eyelashes is concerning, given that such accessories go against basic eye hygiene recommendations. That said, I'll continue coming here because their schedule accommodates working individuals, and the location couldn't be more convenient.

I gave them 2 old frames to change the lens according to the new prescription. This was in December. I got 2 pair of glasses back. One of the frames(an expensive one) was lost! The prescription in the other 2 were incorrect. I left them to be corrected. In APRIL I received the still uncorrected glasses along with a refund. Now I have to have another eye exam at my own expense since my insurance had been used. The office personnel wouldn't return my calls and on my last call, she slammed down the receiver.

I am having problems with my vision because of potential error made by the doctor, and they are asking for payment prior to my seeing the doctor! Absolutely unprofessional and insensitive! I brought in a pair of Amazon Echo frames, they were new to them. That's fine. But I asked them if they needed them.. (for fitment or ship off) they said "nope! We just use this tool to measure then size and that's it. " Sure enough 2.5 weeks later (after I call a few times to get an update as the website never updated) my lenses come in. Bring my frames and.. shocking the lenses don't fit. So what do they do? Send my frames and lenses out to get taken care of. You would think they would ship these out priority or something. Nope. Here we are 1.5 weeks later and no phone call. I called on Friday and they said "oh I see they shipped back out" Monday (today) no call.. no answer on the phone.. I see on here hours are till 5pm. I leave the house/work 15 mins early to get here before 5pm. Of course. They are closed with hours posted till 4pm. Check Google again, and (verified by them 3 weeks ago) They didn't even have to order me frames! It's just glass. I can't even understand.. who are they using for manufacturing because this won't cut it. Dr. Was super nice. But that was all of 20 mins. The rest of the experience is with everyone else.. Get with the communication a bit better please. This has not been the best experience.

He looked at my warranty, saw that they were still covered, and picked up a replacement set on the spot. He popped the old lenses out of my Glasses and pop them into the new frames without making me wait at all. All I had to do was pay a $25 co-pay and I had a brand new set of frames. Thank you so much! I can't imagine having to wait for a new set and not being able to see. I highly recommend target optical.

They looked at the box and they said no this is correct. they told me I would have to go to my eye doctor and get another exam to figure this out. Three different people looked at my prescription and said that they had filled it correctly. After going back to my eye doctor and having a complete eye exam again, he determined that they had given me the wrong prescription. They had denied that they did this. Finally going back with a note from my doctor they agreed to give me another box of contacts that was correct. No apology no nothing. I've even wrote to the company ! They did not respond until I wrote another email to them . I will never order another thing from them again .

I went back to have eyes dilated because of fuzzy vision that came and went since an assault decades ago, HE found the retinal tears and detachment that a doc on sh78 totally missed. I went with progressive lenses again and I'm at 20-20 for the first time in years. It's awesome to be able to read an entire sentence without having to shift eye to eye by turning my head back and forth. Since then I went to texas retina and had my torn retina reattached and the cataract that was missed a couple years ago is next.

Well that might be a stretch but just to give sort of a contrast from outside view to inside. I was telling the front office person that I had to circle around the place a couple times to make sure I got the location right. Well needless to say, I was surprised when I walked in. Completely different atmosphere. Ambiance was reminiscent of another medical practice I've visited in the past. I was right on time for my first-time appointment. I was kind of surprised as I didn't have to fill out any forms or anything. Of course I wasn't coming in for an eye examination or anything like that but to be honest.. this was interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if they contacted me later to fill out forms but regardless, just wanted to bring that up. I didn't wait long at all. I was shown straight to a room. Waited for a bit so I entertained myself by reading the last line of the eye chart inside the room multiple times. Dr. Wright came in and was very engaging and easy to talk to. He went into depth the causes of why my eyes were inflamed and was very patient with explaining anything that I needed explaining. I didn't feel rushed at all. He gave me the most ideal and practical treatment which I would've asked for had he not suggested it so I'm very glad that he covered the bases before I had to ask. This lets me know hey.. if I ever come in for a check-up of a different sort.. I can trust and be rest assured that the diagnosis and treatment he offers would be the most ideal for me. I've been attending Plano Eye for many years. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with glaucoma and I…read morewas lucky enough to discover that Dr Deloach is one of the leading glaucoma doctors in the Dallas area. He was helpful in answering all of my questions and supplying me with the necessary eye drops to keep the disease in check. Two years ago, I moved to Rowlett and the drive became a bit much and I requested that he suggest another doctor in the Rowlett/Rockwall area that I could visit to continue my glaucoma treatments. At the same time, I discovered that my insurance company quit approving the medication that I needed to help me continue. Dr Deloach offered to petition and fight the insurance company for the medication that I need, so I will continue to make the drive for such amazing support. The entire staff at Plano Eye is friendly and courteous, the office is kept in clean and top notch condition and the glasses/frames area where you pick out your frames is abundant and easy to navigate. I will continue my relationship with the Plano Eye staff for as long as I need an eye doctor.
