The biggest difference with NYKB was that the process never felt chaotic. Usually when people talk about renovations it's horror stories, delays, and constantly chasing people down. I never felt that here. Everything felt intentional and handled. Maia somehow managed to make a renovation feel calm, which I didn't think was possible. These were installed but were defective. He never made any attempt to correct the situation. I ordered two doors for a closet and bedroom and paid for them in full ($1000). They never installed them despite having charged my card and making multiple appointments to do so. In addition he never even called to cancel the appointments. Just a lot of no-shows with no response to my texts or phone calls. Very unprofessional I received a refund for the doors of $900. When I questioned Sam he said I would receive the additional $100 in a few days. I never did. But he was quick to charge my credit card (without asking permission) I might add.
